I’ve enjoyed particularly good customer service at this Michael’s.
During one visit, two workers went above and beyond to help me with a difficult return. The folks at the custom framing area are always helpful and patient. I think it took me over an hour to decide on a custom frame once, and they never got impatient with me as I deliberated in front of the counter.
The product selection and store experience is just like any other Michael’s. What sets this one apart is the niceness of the people working there.

I had some custom framing done at this Michaels on two occasions. I’m not talking about getting a poster or picture framed, either. These were custom designed layouts that had to include posters, pamphlets, multiple layers of matting, and CDs and booklets (autographed). I wish I could remember the gentleman’s name that helped me design them and did the work, but I can’t.
He worked with me for close to an hour deciding on colors, matting, the layout, and materials. The finished product took about a week and both times, it turned out to be better than I’d imagined. That kind of work is extremely expensive, so I would recommend waiting for a sale. They always have a banner up that says 40−60% off all custom framing. For the style and size I was getting, the regular price was around $ 1200 each, so I saved $ 600 off each frame while they had the sale. That being said, it would be great if they delivered these projects to you as well. It was a nightmare trying to get these into a Mustang and praying that you didn’t break them.
