I love their fried scallops! And of course those biscuits! One of my favorite places in Athens!

Great food! Enjoyed my food. The staff was great and the service was fast. The atmosphere was lovely.

This place definitely knows how to make you feel fat. With the calorie count put beside each menu item, you can find your meal adding up to about 1500 calories. Yikes. Nevertheless, the food is still very excellent. While it can be a bit pricey, it’s worth it. With your meal, they give you unlimited Cheddar Bay Biscuits, which are amazing. The staff is also very friendly.

Wait staff are not friendly. Retirement home feel. On the up side the manager only charged us for drinks.

We went as a large party a few nights ago and my son got the trout. Within an hour of getting home he had chills, severe stomach cramps and then diarrhea all night and into the next day. There is nothing worse than seeing your child sick and knowing there is nothing you can do but let it runs it’s course. This is one unhappy mom. Will NEVER go back! If I could pick zero stars I would.

Arrived as a couple and expecting two more guests to join us. Was told by a hostess that they would «for sure» escort our two guests to our table just as soon as they arrived. I described the guests and was then seated at a table. When my guests arrived about 10 minutes later, I overheard the hostess tell them that «there are no guests waiting». I had to get up and get the attention of my guests and lead them to our table myself. The waitresses were stiff, robotic and cold the remainder of our meal.

Getting seafood in Athens is tough sometimes, and a visit to the Red Lobster is one of the few choices. I’m not a fan of chains, and this one is no different than the rest. The seafood is low quality and inconsistently prepared. I had the admirals feast and everything was way over fried – dark and crispy. I couldn’t tell what was a clam and what was a chunk of over fried batter.
It would be great to have more seafood choices in Athens…

My family (party of 21) chose to come here to celebrate my late grandmother’s life. This is where she always wanted to eat for her birthday or special occasions. this experience should have been without incident. My aunt coordinated the visit ahead of time, so we would be expected. We did not have adequate wait staff. We had 1 waiter and occasionally 1 other bringing food. They worked other tables and ours. Orders were extremely slow. Our glasses were empty, bread baskets insufficient, and quite simply we did not have the attention that we expected. My cousins waited an hour for their food. My daughter and I were a few minutes late, so we waited 20 mins to even have the opportunity to ask for a menu, and then waited again have our order taken. Then an additional 45 mins for the food. I asked to cancel the order. The waiter said it was ready, so I let him bring my daughter’s meal. It came more than 10 minutes later. I had to ask for a manager twice. Then I had to go find the manager, Sarah. She did absolutely nothing. No compensation or discount. No apology. 30 minutes after that and we are STILL here. We finally got our check… I’m not leaving a tip. Don’t expect to see us here again.

Low-​quality cheap food. I feel sorry for the employees that work here because they are obviously not taken care of. So many better restaurant options in Athens, GA.

We love the red lobster tonight August 9 2014 Sarah was an exceptional waitress as we were in a hurry to catch a movie seafood was cooked perfect and our other dish was parmesan chicken also very good

My visit to this Red Lobster is always consistent w/​good food and good service. I went here this past Saturday (6−14−14) w/​my boyfriend b/​c I had a craving for their salmon. Needless to say, it was GREAT! I had the Salmon New Orleans, w/​stuffed mushrooms as my appetizer… did I mention that it was GREAT!!! The salmon was very well seasoned and very tender. Our waiter was very nice, but now that I think about it, he didn’t check on us that often, but the time that he did, he was very attentive. IMO, you can’t go wrong w/​Red Lobster! I’m a FAN!

I love that they are doing the 15 $ three course meal. Because that’s fair. Their food is only OK, the soup/​salad, meal, n dessert, I think its a fair price. Service is hit or miss.
