Good food, good bar, huge portions and decent on the pocket. We had chicken mushroom alfredo pasta and Chicken Fresca. we also had tried the non-alcoholic drinks of strawberry fizz and peach splash which were bottomless.

My siblings all crammed into a car and drove down to Athens to take me home after hearing my grandpa had passed away. They got here pretty late in the day and most kitchens were closing/Court Street was gathering its regular night crowd. Obviously, we didn’t want to be around a bunch of drunk people but they were all starving so we needed somewhere to eat.
It was a risk we didn’t feel comfortable taking as they were closing in an hour. Being a family of people who have all worked in food service, we know what a pain it can be to get late customers. We asked if it would be okay and they were more than happy to serve us.
Our server was nice, the food was good. I really appreciated their service.

I’ve been here more than a handful of times.
The food is somewhere between good and very good.
The service is inconsistent: sometimes I’d say it’s good, but more often it’s fair or poor.
The décor is fairly nice, since they did the remodel.

Holy mackerel. Just went to the Sunday brunch and had the crab and avocado omelet. WONDERFUL! Great idea for this combination — it was stuffed with lump crab. Service was very good, also. And, of course, the salad bar is always excellent.

This is a fairly typical Ruby Tuesday. It does seem to have less consistent service than the one in Vienna, though. For instance, once we came in for brunch on a Sunday morning and I waited over an hour to get my crepes. (I was actually having a good time playing with the iPhone so I didn’t really mind, but my husband and stepson had completely finished with their food before I got mine.) Still, if you’re in Athens and not in a big hurry, it’s a nice enough place to eat.

Ordered crab cakes, cauliflower and salad. The crab cakes were made of low quality crab and filling. Definitely not worth the price of $ 17.99 for two. The salad bar had a very small selection and oval plates. The cauliflower was creamed and in a rectangle dish not the healthy vegetable I expected.
Overall I gave it one star. Their are other choices. Unfortunately they are in Vienna, W VA.
