This Taco Bell always seems to be having a bad day when I go there. Once I went to the drive through before and waited for 20 minutes with my window down until somebody finally told me they could take my order. Another time, I went in to order and waited for twenty minutes as the food service staff got into a huge fight in the back. There were eight other people waiting on their orders to be fulfilled. I waited for twenty minutes to receive my food, only to have incorrect items in my bag, and missing items as well. I only come here because the food is so damn tasty. I know I’m not paying for much, but I don’t think it’s too much to ask to feel like I am in a «fast» food restaurant. 2⁄5 stars would not recommend

I like Taco Bell, but not *this* Taco Bell. As with many chain restaurants in Athens, service is inferior to national standards… None of the employees care about their jobs(unlike the McDonald’s across the street, which is awesome in comparison). Front employees routinely screw up orders and look befuddled by the cash register. Behind the scenes, the food prep. folks don’t know how to follow the preparation instructions(or perhaps don’t give a damn). Food holding times are ignored, as evidenced by crunchy refried beans and stale taco shells. Go to the *other* Taco Bell further away from campus. This one needs a franchise intervention.

Although The Grill still remains my favorite late night craving place, Taco Bell is not that far behind. How could you ever say no to their delicious burritos, nachos and tacos? That’s the trick; you can’t. And for just one dollar for many of their menu items, it becomes way more tempting to think outside a The Grill bun, and make that taco 2 a.m. run.
