McDonald’s

Horrible customer Service and wait times are ridiculous. Some employees at this location are very rude. I’ve been going to this Mc Donald’s for over a year and I’ve ordered the same item each morning. A sausage McMuffin sub Canadian Bacon. I was told yesterday that they were not allowed to ring it up that way even though the piece of ham costs less than the sausage. It’s crazy that all of the other McDonald’s around Athens has no problems ringing up my order this way. Another recent thing I don’t like is the cost of a regular coffee went way up. I’ll be spending my money elsewhere.

i wish that the employees were friendly. also, the facility and parking lot are filthy.

The best thing about this McDonald’s? Dine-​in and drive-​thru are both open ²⁴⁄₇.
A small group of us stopped by this McDonald’s to quench some late night munchies *early* on a Monday morning. We’re talking around 1am here. We ordered 20-​piece boxes of Chicken McNuggets for only $ 4.99 each. What a deal! I like to eat my Chicken McNuggets with BBQ sauce and sweet and sour sauce. The nuggets were served to us fresh and were still super hot.
The same can be said for the Mighty Wings. I was pleasantly surprised to see they have wings on the menu here. At one point last year, I heard McDonald’s Mighty Wings was a limited-​time-​only engagement. I ordered a 5-​piece box of wings for about $ 5. Good stuff. We got the last 5 wings available before new ones had to be cooked up.
If new wings have to be prepared, the wait would’ve been about 10 minutes (according to two employees — they told me this). The wings we received were crispy and delicious. However, they were noticeably greasier than the ones I’ve tried at Atlanta area McDonald’s. Hopefully, they can find a way to cut back on the grease.
Catherine was our server and she was much nicer and friendlier than the typical McDonald’s employee. Exceptional service.
The restaurant was clean and felt safe. This McDonald’s is located near the Country Inn & Suites and Hampton Inn in Athens. Ideal for hungry travelers staying at these hotels who don’t want to venture far for food.

Why is cash only at the drive-​thru after-​hours??! It’s annoying. This place is right across the street from my apartment complex, so if I’m up late studying, I try to go for some caffeine and/​or a fruit ‘n yogurt parfait. Often, I’ve gone and the «expresso machine [was] being cleaned.» I don’t think any visit has run smoothly…

Drive through sucked today… the line was backed up to Atl Hwy… usually line just goes fast. but not today
