This place is, quite literally, a barn full of old stuff. A lot of it is junk(Reader’s Digest compilations from the 1970s, etc.) but there are some great finds, too — maps, nineteenth-century novels, old photos, a working slide projector, etc. It can get pretty hot in summer and the lights aren’t working throughout the barn — bring a flashlight, because you’re going to want to venture into the small side rooms, up the stairs to the chair loft, and(if you’re feeling brave) up the ladder into the book loft. The barn also has a basement accessible by walking around the barn, and slightly more fancy stuff is in the house, which is also where you go to pay. Prices are the definition of reasonable and up for negotiation. There’s a pretty sharp turn-off to reach the store, so it can be easy to miss. Keep your eyes peeled!
