Are you just getting gas? Then you should not have a problem here. However, if you are to step into the labyrinth of the convenience store, you will be bumping into some uglies(hopefully not bumping uglies) who just loiter the tiny store. Next you’ll find that the drink you wanted, they don’t carry, because screw you man. And finally, you will have to stand in a line that splits into two isles. Did I mention that its crowded in there? As for the gas, this the most sans traffic experience you’ll find between Atlantic Station and Tech.

Who actually buys gas from 14th Street Citgo? Well I had to once when I was on the verge of running on fumes. I paid $ 4.90 per gallon for premium fuel. $ 4.90. That’s the most I’ve ever paid for gas in Atlanta. I’m glad I’m not the first person to Unilocal about this station’s price-gouging ways(thank you, David K). I don’t know how this place manages to stay in business unless it stays afloat purely off the profits of ripping off desperate, soon-to-be-stranded, Midtown motorists.

Just driving by this place pisses me off. They’re the only gas station on this stretch of 14th Street, so I guess they think that gives them the right to charge 20 – 30 cents more per gallon than anywhere else. I shouldn’t be too pissed because they’ve probably got a pretty good hustle going on with that. I just can’t get over how blatantly inflated their prices are and they do it constantly. Of course, money talks, so I gladly bring my hard earned money to other stations who aren’t trying to cheat people that don’t have another price to immediately compare before they make a decision to buy here.
