Very convenient to my home though traffic at the Monroe/Piedmont intersection can really suck! A nice mix of shopping and dining. I am mostly here though to work out at LA Fitness. Other trips have included dining at Panera Bread and Bantam + Biddy. I really like Uncle Maddio’s pizza but have not visited this location. Other stores include Starbucks, a tailor, wine store, pet store, among others. Parking is pretty bad right after typical work hours. Lightens up a bit after 7pm it seems. Multiple entrances and exits — onto both Monroe and Piedmont.

I like the shopping mall here. One of our favorite brunch spots are here Bantam and Biddy is here. The LA fitness here is kinda old and their equitment is dated but it still has everything you need to get a good workout. The Starbucks here is always crowded so don’t go here you have work to do. The only thing that is annoying about Ansley mall is it always takes us like 10 minutes to find parking when we come here. It’s the worst on Saturdays but if you come here early for brunch you can avoid that problem. All and all we like coming here because it’s close to our house in Decatur and we don’t have to take any major roads to get here. Another advantage to living inside the perimeter…

Ansley Park is good for and in town strip mall. You can wash your clothes at the laundry lounge, get a mani/pedi at Kush and have lunch and a coffee anywhere. It really has some good options plus it has a Publix and a Krogers and a mailbox to mail letters. I live near it and its real convenient and I utilize it daily. Only downside is that so does everybody else. Its real crowded so be ready for the traffic.

This Starbucks(or «bearbucks«as it is know in the bear community) is always clean and friendly! 9 X out of 10 they have my order ready for me when I walk in the door. Everyone in there always says hi and uses my name which naked me feel wanted in return keeps me coming back time and time again! Mel, Justin, Cody and Christina go out of their way to talk to or interact with me. I pass 4 other Starbucks that are much closer to me to get to this one!

Now this isn’t the coolest mall to visit, but they have lots of good lunch restaurants and is in a great location.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Even with a BIG crowd on this rainy day, the food, servers and atmosphere was great! We will be back.

Ansley Mall is an old Atlanta shopping plaza located in Midtown at the intersection of Piedmont Ave. and Monroe Dr. By old, I mean my coworker’s grandma used to get her haircut here when he was a wee lad(~8 years old). He’s now into his 50s, which dates this mall to at least the 1960s or 1970s. By the looks of things, it doesn’t look like much has changed from the 1980s or 1990s. Generally, this is a fine neighborhood mall. It’s an outdoor mall, very much like a strip mall, but a bit bigger and nicer. For example, the walkways are covered. Underneath the walkway roofs are signs hanging down so you can see the names of the businesses, sort of like how many typical American outlet malls are designed. This mall can get busy, especially on the weekends. The parking lot does get full, so you may have to circle once or twice to find an available spot during peak periods. Some of the bigger name businesses at Ansley Mall include Publix, CVS, Pier 1, and LA Fitness. There’s also a Panera Bread, Starbucks, and Pet Supermarket. One of the four Atlanta area Cook’s Warehouses is here and there’s also a tennis store(I Play). This is a pet friendly mall, so you’ll often see patrons bringing their dogs with them. If the weather is nice, folks will fill the outdoor patios. Speaking of patios, Bantam + Biddy has a good one. Bantam + Biddy is the best restaurant at Ansley Mall. It opened late 2012 and is a casual farm-to-table restaurant founded by Yeah! Burger’s Shaun Doty. I recommend it. Overall, Ansley Mall is far from a modern, aesthetically pleasing development, but that hasn’t stopped people from coming. While it may look outdated, it still gets the job done for locals.

It’s easy to forget about this in-town strip mall, but Ansley Mall is a great place to get just about everything you need. Anchored by a Publix, CVS, and Pier 1, Ansley now has a Cook’s Warehouse, plus Shaun Doty’s newest restaurant, Bantam + Biddy. There are quite a few boutique shops at Ansley as well, which makes it the perfect place to spend some time wandering through to find the perfect gift for that special someone. Or to treat yourself! The people watching is on par with the best in Atlanta, and there are a number of coffee shops and restaurants to sit, see, and be seen. Parking is plentiful, but do use caution. Ansley is always busy, and some harried commuters use the Mall as a cut-through to get from Monroe to Piedmont.

With an LA Fitness, Pier 1 Imports and Cook’s Warehouse, this strip mall is leagues above the concrete competition around town. I can get a loaf of bread, a toaster to toast it with and a set of boho-inspired plates to serve it up on all in one place. Teeming with energy, it’s not unusual to see groups of workout buddies stretching in the corridor that runs from one end of the mall to the other. Ansley Mall is nothing if it isn’t spirited. Whether it’s a Saturday afternoon or Tuesday night, this is the strip mall that gives all other strip malls a good name.
