Just OK. For the price point, I won’t be back. Everything ala carte, which is fine, but then it should be superb. I had the lamb burger. Nothing special. The fries were meh and too salty to eat. My partner had the chicken. A bit dry. Service was good though.

Great dinner tonight at one of my favorite neighborhood spots. I tried the Lamb Shoulder Burger tonight upon recommendation, and it was amazing! The meat was tasty and cooked perfectly(medium) and the ciabatta bun was toasted and topped with a savory aioli and feta cheese. I got the sweet potato fries as my side. definitely recommend! The service was great as well. food delivered in a timely manner and the water /tea glasses were always filled.

It’s Midtown, so it’s going to be a little hard to park, and some friends have had trouble finding the door, but it’s worth it if you can get here. Classy-casual ambience for a happy-hour date. They have a nice assortment of whiskeys and vermouths if you’re particular about your Manhattans, and tasty small plates. I have yet to try the brunch but have heard good things!

The Daily Grind Burger: Appeared to be blackened, but it was tender and good. Eggs Savannah: Hollandaise creamy and had a peppery taste. It was Piping hot. Spinach was not wilted, vibrant green and fresh. Buttery english muffin with crisp edges, but soft. Poached egg kept form even when cut. Best shrimp crab cake I’ve had. Crab cake was very moist. Potatoes: Soft and flavorful. Mimosa: large with a crisp bite. Décor: Sexy, sleek, minimal, wood, and leather. Full bar with an old Hollywood feel. Staff: Friendly and knowledgable, but a little too chatty. Only downside is this place is hard to find and you have to pay for parking. Other than that this is a nice brunch spot for a special occasion.

Our party of 5 enjoyed another positive Article 14 dining experience on 10⁄16. The service was outstanding and the food was yummy. Everyone in our party was completely satisfied and we look forward to returning.

Ate here for brunch and food was really good. Our group was 7 and each ordered different dishes. No one had anything bad to say, in fact, we all devoured. From the lox and bagel to huevos rancheros to eggs savannah, everything was fresh and exquisite. My favorite the eggs: two poached eggs, toasted english muffin, fresh georgia shrimp and crab cakes, sautéed spinach, creole hollandaise. WOW. absolutely delicious. #winning The $ 1 mimosas are not really advertised and are available after 12pm. Service was not the fastest, but very good. Would definitely return when in ATL. Happy brunchin’

This is place for brunch on a sunday morning. Ambiance is great. love the huge windows that let in the natural light. Service and food is great. I ordered the omelette, side of biscuits and $ 1 mimosas(only after 12:30pm). I def will be coming back and trying more dishes on the menu. Plus, they have complimentary valet parking. You dont need to find street parking. :) huge perk!

I had a late lunch here and really enjoyed the restaurant and the food. The service was very friendly and attentive. For an appetizer I shared a portion of 3 bacon wrapped dates. They were delicious. I highly recommend them. For lunch we had two different sandwiches, the club and the pastrami. They were both very good. The selection of sides is very ample and varies from healthy salads and other vegetable options to less healthy sweet potato or french fries. The only downside was the sandwiches were a bit pricey for lunch.

I’m visiting Atlanta for only two days and after reading the Unilocal review I asked around and the feedback was positive. So I decided to try their lunch special: Pan Seared Turbot with a summer succotash salad and curry vinaigrette. The mix of flavor tasted very refreshing. The fish was fresh and the vinaigrette delicious. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and attentive. Price was $ 15 for the fish, which seemed fine but a bottle of still water was $ 5.00, a little expensive for my taste.

It’s been getting quite humid around Atlanta, so I opted to stay close to my hotel for the night and ended up at Article 14 for dinner. Had the grilled peaches with a salad. The meyer lemon vinaigrette was tasty. Peaches were firm and not overly sweet. Wanted their pisco grapefruit drink, but they were out of both. Ended up with the summer wildflower gin drink. The servers were great, but there was a darn long hold up for my chocolate lava cake. Took forever! Servers were nice about it, but it didn’t make my wait any shorter. Plus then there was an incorrect billing issue which also took awhile to get my servers attention to get it fixed. Overall, a nice place for a quiet dinner.

Had prosciutto and cheese sandwich w/over easy egg w/Brussel sprouts. Delicious! And a glass of wine. Having more wine options in the 8 – 10 $ category would have been nice. Boyfriend had veggie burger and roasted mini potatoes. Also great!

Article 14 was within walking distance of the hotel for my friend’s bachelorette party. It was a convenient location that took reservations and actually allowed us to decorate our table of 10+ for dinner. Service was great. Our waitress was attentive to fill glasses even if only a few sips were taken. Honestly, the food was just ok. Nothing wow. Most of my table ordered the pot roast and they said it was good. The carrots were maybe still too crunchy for being cooked. Nothing in the entrée section really jumped out at me, but on the small apps side, I ordered the Thai Coconut Curry Mussels which were delicious. I only wished they had provided me a smaller fork to eat the mussels and a spoon so I could sip the curry. The curry wasn’t too thick, so fairly watery, but the flavor was really strong which is really needed for mussels. I also had the broccolini as a side. It wasn’t nearly as spicy as I thought it would be, but a good side dish for greens if you don’t want something plain like haricot verts(green beans) or brussel sprouts(which I like making myself). I’m wondering if Article 14 is better suited as a brunch place since that seems to be what most people come here for. You can’t really go wrong with Article 14 for dinner since it’s got the variety of proteins for dinner entrees. Most of them just didn’t appeal to me since they seemed so standard. Nevertheless, great service that I would come back if I were in the area. Maybe for brunch.

My friends and I came here for brunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We found out they were serving $ 1 mimosas and bloody marys(must order entrée) so I instantly made a reservation. I had the grilled steak and eggs(poached). Eggs cane out perfect and the steak was adequately cooked(med rare). My friend really enjoyed her trout, specially the green beans. Others ordered the angus beef burger(thick juicy patty!), eggs savannah, and eggs benedict. They were all pretty good but my friend said she’s had better benedicts. Mimosas were tasty but it was clear there wasnt much champagne in them. But then again, we were getting $ 1 mimosas so they were quite satisfying for the price. The ambience was wonderful as well. Open, relaxing, and sophisticated. We also really liked the natural lighting coming in from the windows.

The interior of this place is really cute and quaint. Myself and a girlfriend dined in for the Sunday Supper. Needless to say, we were both pretty disappointed. Our server was a sweetheart and explained the dishes thoroughly, but the food was just lacking. The service was slow and my braised beef ribs were not hot. I found a piece of plastic in my grits, but didn’t want to make a stink so I just stopped eating them at that point. My friend complained that her chicken was dry and needed some type of sauce to go with it. I more than likely won’t be going back to Article 14. I am curious to see how long it will stay in business.

Sunday Boozy Brunch! Another great Unilocal find! The restaurant has an intimate feel modern feel, with a class bar that features tons of whiskey.(I hear they do this thing called bourbon and bites one day out the week, so I’ll def return to review that) For the food; I ordered the steak and eggs combo. The salsa verde or chimichurri sauce that is served on top of the eggs were very yum! Steak cooked to the right temps true and they allowed me to substitute the oven roasted potatoes for French fries :) $ 1 mimosas with the purchase of an entrée! Def will become a frequent customer. I love mimosas! *TIP* complimentary valet parking lot adjacent to restaurant, but must get ticket validated inside

Came for brunch. Horrible service + bad food: 1. Slow and unapologetic service: egg shell in both of my poached eggs. — Manager comes by and says, «is everything ok?» — Us: «there are egg shells in the eggs» — Her: «oh ok, did you want me to get you another?» — Me: «…no» —(after all, high likelihood of repeat egg shells) — Her: «oh ok, so is everything else perfect then? *smiles* …I’m sorry what? Yeah. this happened. 2. Price: Cheap drink specials but watered down. Food itself not particularly cheap. 3. Food: Took 60min… for unappealing toast, and overly vinegared poached eggs. Chicken sausage patties looked like the doggy patties I serve my dog. At best, frozen chicken sausage. Would give this place negative stars if I could…

Love, love, love. Despite the pretension when you walk in(judgey eyes to the max from the hostess!), Article 14 is a gorgeous and comfortable place to grab a drink. The cocktails are all phenomenal, particularly the Moscow Mule, which is served in a traditional copper mug. Though the cocktails are pricey($ 12 – 14) and prices are not listed on the menu, they are strong pours and well crafted. Not an everyday spot, bot a truly worthwhile splurge. And, the atmosphere is pretty hard to dislike too, with an expansive bar, exceedingly comfortable bar stools, beautiful wall of bourbons of all shades and colors, and some deep booths setting the stage for a dark, classy and intimate evening. This is a great spot for pre-dinner drinks, as we were able to show up at 6:30 on a Saturday to find a nearly deserted restaurant, which allowed our large group to easily find seats at the bar and expedited our drink service and check procurement. The complimentary valet is an appreciated touch, and both the valet and pedestrian entrance are both on 14th street.

Just had a fantastic brunch. Drinks were perfection. We had a very gingery Pimms and a 75 South-both complex, balanced and potent. Crabby eggs with spinach and shrimp and grits couldn’t have been better. Like the rounded booths and lighting. The charming bartender doubled as our server and was a pleasant accompaniment to our experience. Look forward to the next visit! Update 2⁄15 Had the same dishes and drinks and they were fine but not fab like before. Pimms cup was overpowered with cucumber, which was disconcerting and strange! Wouldn’t return without a scoutmob. Cheers–
