We went for the Prix Fixe Menu, had the eggplant and tomato and Croque Madame, topped with a fried egg sunny side up. Was wonderful, just like the ones I had when I lived in France. I had tried to stay with in the $ 15 Prix Fixe price but everything was so good, I had to have the Lava Cake with a Latte of course! I am definitely going to come back!

In general we had a good time here. The food was really good. We had the scargots and the cheese plate as appetizers. As entrees my husband had the salmon and loved it. I had the crepes with creamy chicken and mushrooms. It was delicious. My only boomer was that the tables are really close together. Too much for my taste, you can easily hear your neighbor ’ s conversation. I think i would like to go back in the summertime. They have a great Outdoors sitting area.

Decided on this place for 2014 Atlanta Midtown Restaurant Week. My bf and I were both very intrigued by the menu since it was different from all of the other steak-salmon-chicken places. For the $ 25 prix-fixe: 1) Appetizer: Terrine de lapin — Rabbit terrine served with pickles and Dijon mustard 2) Entrée: Coq au vin — Braised red wine marinated chicken served with Papardelle pasta, Sautéed mushrooms, bacon and glazed pearl onions 3) Dessert: Crème brulée For the $ 35 prix-fixe: 1) Appetizer: Escargots«Atmosphère» — Signature appetizer. Marinated escargots, Duxelles Garlic Butter 2) Entrée: Confit de canard(Duck Leg confit), wild mushroom raviolis, glazed baby carrots, red wine reduction 3) Dessert: Profiteroles — Pâté à choux filled with vanilla ice cream Topped with warm chocolate and Polignac almonds I was really scared in dining at a French restaurant due to their infamous small portions. But this place did not really do that. I think I fell in love with French cuisine here, but only for very special occasions. My favorites from here were the duck leg confit. The duck meat was tender and succulent. The wild mushroom raviolis will be heaven for any mushroom lovers like me. But the star of the night was really the escargots. I could not get enough of the duxelles garlic butter. I was using the ciabata bread and even asked for extra bread to sop up as much of that butter sauce as I can. They did a great job with that butter sauce and I did not taste anything weird with the escargot. I liked the terrine de lapin the least. I personally am not familiar with eating rabbit nor terrines, but the texture was very weird or haute for my immature palate for finer dining. The coq au vin was excellent, but still could not compare to the duck confit. We were satisfied with both our desserts. We did particularly enjoy the contrasting temperature taste sense in the profiteroles with the warm chocolate on the ice cream. Our waitress gave impeccable service. I thoroughly enjoyed the food here and would recommend this place if anybody asked for good French cuisine to try out in Atlanta. The only downside to note is that the couple tables are seated quite intimately with nearby couple tables. Valet parking only.

Fantastic meal! We had the Escargot, Onion soup, Coq au Vin, and Beef Filet. All of these were absolutely great! Our waitress truly seemed like she was less than enthused about being there though. Overall, food was a good solid 4.5 stars in my opinion. The server could have very easily made this a 5 star review.

This restaurant is NOT in the customer service business. There are much better French restaurants in Atlanta. Not many but there are at least two that have better food and better service.

This was most definitely one of the worst restaurants I have been to. Saturday night, at the end of the Midtown Restaurant Week, my boyfriend and I made a reservation, having picked this restaurant over several others participating in the Restaurant Week. We were very disappointed. Our waitress was rude and the service was horrible — we waited a full hour just to receive an appetizer. Upon bringing out our appetizer an hour after being seated, our waitress informed us they were out of one of the menu items my boyfriend had ordered, so he had to order something different(which also meant they had not yet even began to cook our main dish). Sometime after that and before our main dish came out, our waitress approached us again and told us they were also out of the Crème Brûlée we both ordered, so upon another staff member’s suggestion, we ordered a different dessert. After finishing dinner, that same staff member brought out two Crème Brûlées. We were confused, and before we had a chance to say anything, our waitress came out, whispered something to her coworker before stating aloud that we had received the wrong order. Instead of simply allowing us to have what we had originally ordered, she took one of the Crème Brûlées, of which we had not yet touched, to give to another table inside. If I had discovered that my food had been sitting at another table in front of, and possibly even touched by another customer before it had been brought to me, I would have been so disgusted. To top the night off, after finally receiving our check almost two and a half hours after being seated, we waited an additional thirty minutes for our waitress to return before we finally went inside the restaurant to find her and pay. We found her leaning on the bar, talking and joking around with the other servers, as if she had forgotten we were still outside. At this point the restaurant was empty; we were amongst the last of the parties dining that night. It is not in my nature to write in-depth, negative reviews for any type of business, but after this experience, I found it almost necessary. I will not be back.

I haven’t eaten a lot of French food in my lifetime, but I did really enjoy this meal. Parking: There was valet the day we came(Tuesday) and the guy was super nice. Ambience: This place is in a place that looks like it used to be a house. It’s very quaint and there’s quite a few tables as well as outside tables in the front with a bar right by the entrance. The pre-fixe entrees were the mussels or the steak tartare. Food: –Bread: The complimentary bread comes out steaming! Huge plus. –Potato Soup: This was the soup of the day and was a loaded potato soup. It was really yummy. –Escargot: I really like escargot and I’ve only had it once before. The oils that these snails were in was really good and you can dip your bread in this too! –Steak Tartare: This was my first time having steak tartare and I was a bit skeptical about eating raw meat at first but it was quite good and I didn’t get sick after! There was actually quite a large portion. –Hangar Steak: I asked for medium but my steak came out a little too well done. However, it was still yummy and very well seasoned. It came with a side of green beans. –Mussels in wine sauce: I didn’t try this, but there is a large portion(a really large plate full). The people that did have this felt that it still had some sand in them and some were only partially cooked. –The entrees we came all came with a side of fries. These were ok, nothing too special. Not crispy enough, but that’s my preference. I didn’t try the dessert this day, but some of the options sounded really delicious. Service: I made a reservation and we were promptly seated at the table set aside for us. The waiter was really nice and our food came out pretty promptly. Obviously, this place is on the pricier side, but I might come back for a special occasion and try the duck confit or the lamb.

We were looking for some place special to take a friend for lunch. This restaurant had a special $ 15.00 for 2 course lunch. Not only does the quaint house give your privacy but the service was great. We ate on the patio, which was nice but traffic was noisy and busy. Peidmont is a major road in Atlanta. Parking is small so go early or go later.

Service was excellent with a friendly complimentary valet parking. Food was delicious, light and satisfying. It is on the higher end as far as prices but it’s worth it. We enjoyed our dinner outside on the relaxing patio.

French food at its finest. Somehow I missed this one for over 7 years living in midtown atlanta but I’m sure glad to have finally found this amazing place. From small yet full of character ambiance to scrumptious plates and friendly staff, this place got it all. My recommendation; chicken crêpe.

Had my first wedding anniversary here, and recently came back for lunch with my sister. A very romantic and authentic french cuisine. Love it! Highly recommend for a date or just for good olé adult time. If you’re a lover of french food, you will not be disappointed.

Great food. I ate here again for a birthday party. I really enjoyed the appetizers. As we had more than ten people we ordered a wide range of appetizers and allowed us to sample the majority of appetizers on the menu. I think the appetizers are a bit ahead of the entrees. Carpaccio: Great, delicate beef carpaccio. I think it could have used a bit more flavor in the marinade but that is my personal taste. Moules Marinières — great white wine and cream mussels Very good flavor from the sauce that accentuated the mussels. There were some closed mussels in the dish, however. I think the mussels are a bit better at FAB. Foie Gras: This is duck foie gras served with toast points. Very, very good with that smooth buttery taste. Plateau de fromage: This is a three cheese plate. Escagots: Marinated and then baked, these come six to an order which is just enough for everyone to get a taste. Entrees: I had the braised lamb and it was excellent with white beans, carrots and a nice au jus sauce. I also sampled the hanger steak that was cooked perfectly medium rare.

Made our first visit Valentine’s Day and left thinking, «eh, we should try it again.» The menu was pre fixe for the holiday and appetizers and dessert were fantastic. The main course — I had their version of «beouf» strip — was ok. But the service was terrible. It was obvious they were trying to turn tables quickly. Our apps arrived almost immediately after ordering and the bottle of wine arrived the same time as dinner. That’s the challenge of trying a new place on a holiday, but you should never be made to feel like a number — especially at that price point

Some culinary-minded friends and I are making our way through various recommended restaurants in Atlanta. Atmosphere was one of the places on our list. We decided to visit on a Sunday evening. It seems that they valet parking on some evenings. However, it was fortunately self serve parking that evening(which I prefer). The restaurant was not busy that Sunday. They had a bread bowl for the table. As you would expect for a French restaurant, the bread was great! Everyone else in my party had French onion soup. They all said it was horrible and wondered how a French restaurant could possibly have that bad of a staple soup. I didn’t have any so I cannot judge. I ordered the hangar steak. It was well cooked and the sauce was great. The fries and green beans were also quite good. I got the crème brûlée for dessert(so hard to resist). This was tasty, as well. Service was really great throughout the evening. Also, though we were there close to(and perhaps past) closing, the staff did not rush us out. That was much appreciated.

I was having a pretty terrible day mostly dealing with my eyesight so the boyfriend dragged me out to experience Midtown Restaurant Week(this is a little late, oops). First course — Salade au Roquefort: This was… ok. My bad for forgetting that I don’t really like roquefort(bleu) cheese, I dunno I think it’s just something about the mold that makes it gross to me. But besides the cheese, it didn’t really have much flavor(red wine vinaigrette was in this??) Second Course — Confit de Canard: The sauce that the duck was in was suuuuper salty which overwhelmed everything else. The duck was also a bit dry and I would have used the sauce for some moisture but it kind of a tough decision as to whether or not to make the plunge. Third Course — Crème Brulee: The top made a nice satisfying crunch which I honestly wasn’t expecting so that was nice. I think the custard was a tad too creamy though. Boyfriend’s first course — Escargot Atmosphere: This was unremarkable and mediocre. BF’s Second — Steak Frittes: This was salty as all hell(theme, anyone?) It was cooked to the correct temperature but you would have thought someone dumped a bunch of salt on the steak before serving so this was disappointing. BF’s Third — Profiteroles: He loves dessert so I don’t think anything could have spoiled the profiteroles so I will admit that their desserts are not bad. Service — Was great, it seemed like the waitress might have been a newbie but I didn’t have any complaints. Verdict — I… probably not.

Came here for restaurant week because their menu was the best(in my opinion) compared to all the other restaurants. I read other reviews that said service was unfriendly. We had just the opposite with a server who was great. I had the $ 35 escargot, duck confit and crème brulee option. All were very good. I actually think their duck confit is better than Bistro Niko’s which I previously thought was the best. My husband had the foie gras. He said it was amazing. The only issue was that it said market price next to the foie gras. We assumed it would be like $ 15 considering the other appetizers were the same or less. It was $ 25. Our bad for assuming. We now know to always ask in advance what«market price» means even if it makes us look cheap and tacky. The only complaint is that the tables are really close together. Also, we were seated next to a large group where one of the women had one of those loud, high-pitched laughs similar to Wicked Witch of the West. I really thought at any second she was going to turn to me and say, «I’ll get you, my pretty, and you’re little dog, too!» It put a bit of a damper on my meal since I couldn’t wait to get out of the restaurant to give my ears a break.

Came here for a friend date during restaurant week. Definitely offered one of the more appealing menus outside of the usual steak-chicken-salmon options! I had the $ 25 menu which got me rabbit terrine, moules marnieres and crème brûlée. The terrine was tasty with the spicy mustard and they gave a big portion. The mussles were well done although the portion was pretty modest. The fries were FANTASTIC and reminded me so much of France. Yum I could eat so many of those. The crème brûlée was pretty standard(in a good way.) My friend had escargots, duck confit and lemon sorbet with grey goose. All were tasty and she loved the confit. Service was good although the waiter seemed really formal. Overall, very tasty, authentic French food.

We had a fantastic brunch here this morning. Reserving the fifth star for when we go back for lunch. Service: Friendly, genuine service from the moment we walked through the door throughout the entire meal. Food: Omelette was fantastic and fluffy, the croque madame was delicious and the merguez was super flavorful. The fries were the one meh spot in the whole dish, but hey, even a meh fry is a delicious thing. Coffee: The coffee is Nespresso pod coffee which while not the best, was still good enough that I had three Americanos and my husband had two lattes. Atmosphere: Overall a very nice atmosphere at Atmosphere. It is a bit fancier than I was expecting with cloth table cloths and napkins as well as silver wine buckets and highly attentive staff. In spite of that it did not feel stuffy, which was nice and it does seem as if restaurants in Atlanta tend to be a bit less casual than our Seattle expectations account for, so perhaps it’s just a normal brunch place out here. Will be sure and come back for dinner to test out their other fantastic looking dishes.

My birthday, and I wanted some French food. For us, that’s a toss up between Atmosphere and Babette’s, but the truth is we love both places. Tonight, I had the mussels and the scallops with mushroom ravioli in cream sauce. Hubs had the rabbit terrine and the same ravioli, but with a tomatoey sauce. All the food was exquisite. We practically licked our plates. Ok, we ripped up the hot crusty bread and chased it around our bowls with fork & knife until the chunks were soaked in sauce, but the motivation was the same. The detractor was the service. There wasn’t anything wrong, exactly. But our server, and the other servers I could hear from our table, didn’t have the right polish for a place at this price point. I actually heard the server at the next table say, when asked which of two appetizers she would recommend, that they were both«actually pretty good.» Ringing endorsement there. And none of the servers seemed to know the wines on special. Our guy just didn’t seem to get the«rhythm» of an expensive dinner out. It just didn’t flow. But the food. The food was delicious.

Very nice traditional French cuisine. Escargot, Moules Marinieres, and Confit de Canard were very good. Nice desserts, also.
