On the spendy side, but I was blown away by the magnificent cocktails crafted by the friendly mixologists.

Absolutely awesome! The big daddy is the best hamburger I have ever had in my life! Great selection of scotch! The servers and bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable! I love this place!

Late last week, I met a friend for lunch who suggested the salad bar at the Loew’s Hotel. I was a bit skeptical at first, but wow, oh wow! I cannot believe it took me this long to discover this spectacular salad bar! There was a line when we arrived by we were seated immediately. Out comes fresh homemade potato chips delivered to your table and off to the salad bar you go! Grab a large bowl and pile on everything you could possibly imagine – from a variety of different sprouts and pickled vegetables to nuts to dried fruits. Everything is incredibly fresh and it is one of the most expansive salad bars I’ve ever been to. Next, top your salad with one of their house-made dressings and finally, choose your protein: grilled steak, chicken, or shrimp. It’s tossed before you and served on a plate. As you walk out, grab a piece of bread and a dessert. For a measly $ 12, this is one of the best deals in Midtown. Fast, healthy, fresh, delicious! I will definitely be a frequent guest!

Why does this place have so little stars? I’m obsessed. I came here 6 times in 3 days. Great drinks, great hang out. Great appetizers. Especially the salmon flatbread! I enjoyed the Georgia peach martini and the pear royale martini. The staff was hit or miss, mostly friendly, a little expensive, but if you complain about that you don’t belong at the Loews Atlanta. Lots of people hang out here in the evenings. A lot of businessmen which makes sense. There’s a cool piano that people can play right there. Cool vibe.

This is the bar in the lobby of Loews Atlanta Hotel. It seriously was bumpin’ each and every time we walked by. The first night we scored some seats in the corner and relaxed with some delicious cocktails. My absolute favorite was the Papillion Blue — Hendricks Gin, DeKuyper Fleur Elderflower, Lemongrass, Simple Syrup, Blueberry Simple Syrup, Ruffino Prosecco, Mint Leaves. Absolute heaven. Refreshing and delicious. The presentation was spot on as well. I love a good upscale, hotel bar. They had a good range of snacks and apps and someone in our group ordered a few things but I just noshed on the spicy cocktail peanut mix; perfect compliments to my cocktail. Our server was pretty on point especially for how busy it was. I was a little bummed that on our last evening there was a wedding reception party of some sort happening in the bar area. While it was a ton of people and they seemed to be having a blast, just didn’t feel right joining. Overall, great addition to a lovely stay at Loews Atlanta!

The pear royal was good and the snacks they provide we’re delicious. Staying at the hotel so it was a nice to have a drink before we left for dinner. Waiter — decent. Needed to check on us more then twice. Price — normal($ 14)

Not a bad little bar. To be perfectly honest, the only reason I came here is become we were staying at the Loews for staycation and free drinks were included with our stay. There was a decent crowd the night I stopped here — late one Saturday evening. I ordered a whiskey sour and it was serviceable. We grabbed a couple of seats at the bar and while the bartender greeted us promptly, he didn’t seem overly friendly. I probably wouldn’t go back here unless drinks were free or I was staying here agin, but I have no legitimate complaints about it.

Came here starving this past Saturday after Core Fusion Yoga upstairs. Since I was going to eat by my lonesome, I figured Id hit up the lobby bar, which tends see more solo diners on a regular basis. I cozy up to a bar seat and look at their menu– as with most bar menus, it had a straightforward list of appetizers and bites with some interesting twists(prices were all around $ 10). Though I see many options that sound tasty, I tell myself to skip my first inclination– the burger– and get some yummy lean-protein-plus-good-fats type of thing. Aka the Chicken Satay dish(here spelled Chicken Sate, which threw me off, but I decided to overlook this). The presentation was adorable– 5 chicken skewers, a little pot of delicious peanut sauce(DELICIOUS) in a little dim sum type basket. Though not enough food for a grown man, this kick of protein and sweet satay sauce was all I needed. Quite the treat for $ 8. Since I was sooo good about my nutritional decision, I decided to reward myself with a not-so-good-for-you cocktail. Again, the cocktail list(all at $ 12) was to the point and interesting, and with so many great choices I decided to go with a recommendation from the bartender– this twist on the Moscow Mule, with tequila instead of vodka and a peppery after taste(I added I picture, you should check it out). I like the ambience of the Loew’s lobby, and thus likely the vibe of bar eleven. I like the bustle of the traveling crowd and the bartenders were very nice. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get to this little spot, but will likely hang out there again aprés-workout or to meet up friends for pre dinner cocktails while in midtown. Check it out, yo.

I treated a co-worker here for her birthday on a Friday after work. I had the Sage Blossom martini and it was great. She had the Agave Margarita. We also ordered the spicy shrimp and the Georgia tomato thin crust pizza. They were both good. There were many folks hanging out, but I can see how it would crowded as the night progresses. The service was good, the drinks were good, and we both said we would return.

Ordered a Rye old fashioned. Instead got a strange concoction of muddled orange slice and artificial maraschino cherry, rye, and vernmouth, no bitters. Shaken. So, kind of like a manhattan slushie without the requisite bitters. Old Fashioned: simple syrup to taste, 2dashes bitters, 2 – 2 ½ oz booze, stir on ice, strain into old fashioned glass over a few good cubes & garnish w/lemon or orange twist.(orange peel may be muddled with the sugar and bitters.)

I probably shouldn’t have ordered food because that’s the only thing that’s not great about this place. It’s a little expensive, but I guess that’s kind of expected since it’s in the lobby of the Loews Hotel. The servers are friendly and definitely communicate the Loews brand well. They’re very knowledgeable about both the drink and food menu, so they give good recommendations. One of the recommendations was the buttermilk fried chicken bites with smoked peach barbecue sauce. Sounds great, but it’s not. It’s just square fried chicken pieces that don’t have much flavor. The hummus trifle is pretty good and is served is container that lets you see all of the layers of pesto and babaganoush. It’s served with pita chips and warm flat bread. I recommend the flat bread. They have an awesome blue drink that was created at the Loews in Montréal to be their signature cocktail. Whenever I’m there it becomes my signature cocktail.

After a friends wedding in Piedmont Park this was the venue for the after-party. Even before we arrived this place was busy. It has your standard upscale hotel décor complete with super heavy tables and chairs to stop drunk people stealing the furniture. The music was at a good volume providing groove opportunities but not so loud you couldn’t converse. At about midnight the sound system was turned off and we were entertained(if that’s the right word) by an inebriated patron playing the piano in the corner. Our Waitress managed a good level of service providing frequent water refills and LOADING our table with the weird beer-nuts. The people I was with raved about them but to me they tasted over-salted and bacony. The waitress was let down slightly by the long waits between placing our order and the drinks being mixed, but the bar was very busy and each round consisted of at least 3 cocktails. So I’m prepared to cut them a little slack The drinks — The most expensive but also the best mixed drinks I’ve had in my limited experience of hard liquor in ATL. 3 well mixed cocktails, plus tastes of my fellow drinkers left me feeling that the mixologists here know their stuff. It certainly wasn’t cheap the 3 cocktails cost $ 45 including Tip and tax but it was a great way to celebrate the friends nuptials. I’s be happy to come drinking here again

The cocktails were decent… a level higher than medicore. But not as good as other places(H. Harper Station, Holeman & Finch). Food…fuggedaboutit. I got the hummus/pesto dip. That was good and came with a warm, soft pita that was yummy sweet. You could chip your tooth on those hard seasoned pita chips. My friend got the turkey club sandwich. ITWASAWEFUL. They should be ashamed at making such crappy sandwiches. Two huge pieces of dry bread. Measley strips of bacon. Drrrrrryyyyyyyyyyy. And the service? The pits! The waiter couldn’t remember jack and didn’t bring us ANYTHING to drink(water or cocktails that we’d ordered twice) until we were ½ way thru the meal. Go somewhere else. There are much nicer hotel bars in ATL.

I’ve never reviewed a restaurant but I feel compelled to do so with Eleven only because I want everyone to avoid a truly miserable experience. The place was a ghost town… you would have heard crickets if the music wasn’t so loud. We had to shout at one another and they REFUSED to turn it down after many complaints. The décor was dated, the lighting horrible and the furniture very uncomfortable. It looks like a cafeteria. The food was bland and unmemorable… avoid the mushroom ravioli if you’re forced to go. The service was the worst ever. Tons of servers, no diners and it took 30 minutes to get a glass of wine and almost an hour to be served our meals. Close it down, fire the entire staff, redecorate and try it again!

I am sad because I expected my meal to be delicious, and it was BLAH! I went for lunch with a large group and as someone who was on the Opening team at a hotel in South Florida, there are just certain things you do and not do. 1st and foremost– HAve your servers know and taste everything on the menu. last thing I want to hear is «I have not tried this, but I heard it is not good» coming from the staff. 2nd– if the restaurant is not busy, do not take 15 minutes to bring water and greet the table. 3rd– I am thinking this is supposed to be a «restaurant inside the hotel», but with the quality of the food and the price, this is just another«hotel restaurant». 4th– Lunch should NOT take 2 hours. Well, unless the restaurant is slammed!!!, which it was no where close to that. Sorry, but I do not think I can return. Bummer!

Can I just say that Bar Eleven’s wine by the glass list is ridiculously mediocre? Come on. Bar Eleven is in the Loews Hotel and the lobby is gorgeous. Plenty of specialty cocktails are available, friendly staff, and apparently a weekly music series. Just don’t go for the wine.

I swear it seems like this hotel popped up out of nowhere, but it’s definitely a nice addition to Midtown’s new landscape. Bar Eleven is the hotel’s bar and lounge and last night they kicked off their weekly live music series with the always amazing David Ryan Harris. The décor is stylish and trendy and yet very comfortable. The drinks are VERY tasty and they definitely aren’t shy with the pour.(Gotta love that!) Each Loews hotel has a signature specialty drink and Atlanta’s is the very refreshing Lavender Martini. Although, when I ordered mine, I didn’t get the nice garnish my friend had, but I heard it was pretty. Nevertheless, I recommend ordering it and representing for the home city. I can’t wait to go back and take a tour of the world via Loews specialty drinks. After looking through the drink book, I found a few that were more than appealing. Like the San Diego hotel’s specialty drink — Green Flash, which I had to try because I like green and green it was. Green and oh so delightful. It was like a melon margarita surprise in my mouth. The staff was very friendly and considering the size of the crowd, very efficient. Absolutely, no complaints there. In fact, no complaints anywhere. I will definitely be adding this place to my Midtown lounge rotation.
