This shop is my first choice when purchasing beads they are limited in number so you know the person next to you won’t be wearing the same thing you are even if the design is different. For the most part beads are sold individually they carry some strands as well and are made of genuine stone, metals, glass, clay and bone. The women who work here are always willing to help put something together for you or show you how to do it yourself. I have sat here for hours working on a piece(s) sometimes asking for advice other times not, usually someone will come over to look at my progress or in some cases let my know my count is off and that I have to rip the piece apart and start over #%@*. I keep telling myself to quit working with such small beads and detailed designs and turn around and do it again damn it ! I really do appreciate the help. Classes are available and the door gets locked promptly at 5pm.

If your Mom’s beading group from church decided to open a store and display their(pretty) past beading work as well as well extra beads from various projects in the little plastic cups you get samples from at Costco, it would be Beadazzles. Beadazzles is essentially a half dozen glass cases that are filled with little plastic sample cups, each with 20 or so beads in them. They are mostly all priced, in tiny little spidery writing that you have to twist your head sideways to read. Prices were on the high side, overall shop quality was on the low side. Lots of(ok to decent) jewelry and beading projects were displayed ont he walls and there was a work table in back to work on projects. I was in and out in five minutes, and I was generous staying that long — even the Michael’s down the street has better beading supplies.

Beadazzles is the first bead store I discovered in Atlanta and I make it a point to visit any time I’m in town. In fact, the last couple times I’ve come to town it was to take classes from Sherry Serafini at Beadazzles. Although this store doesn’t have the quantity of beads that some beads stores carry, everything is carefully selected. Thus Beadazzles can do a great deal of damage to my wallet… and makes me drive a couple hundred miles for the privilege. The employees are helpful, knowledgeable, and can help you turn the designs in your head into stunning real-life creations. Also, they have a truly amazing variety of classes, including a number of classes by national level instructors.

My favorite bead store in Atlanta by far! The employees and owner are always so helpful and patient with me. Even if I don’t buy anything, but just go there to create with them, they take the time to make me feel so at home. They have the best selection of beads I have ever seen at a bead store, and their classes are wonderful, too. It’s the best!
