I have been to almost every electrologist in Metro atl. For some reason, Everytime i got my face done i would get whiteheads in every follicle they went in. This is worse than hair!!! so year after year I would find someone else and the exact same thing would happen. it was sooooo frustrating.(it would take weeks to clear up) Then i found tammi; It took me a while to try her out because her prices where so low i «assumed» something was wrong with her. I AMSOGLAD I DID. she is the BEST!!! really!!! She does extractions on my ingrowns to get the hair and the extra sebum out! YES was the ONLY person who had the educatin to answer why my face was bumping up after treatments and she stopped it immediatley. she does not wear gloves and she does lean on you; but she gets about 75 more hairs than any other electroylst so ill take it!!! to get as many hairs as she is getting, i think she has to. HERSPEEDANDEFFECTIVENESS is what you are paying for. She has cleared by beard in about 5 sessions. mind you everyone else says it would take atleast 15 treatments to clear my face(ONCE) hair grows in different stages and then«we will see how many more sessions i needed» Tammi has masks and gloves if that makes you more comfortable. but she santizes her hand before starting so thats fine with me. I asked her why(after reading other reviews) and she says«when you cant feel the hairs, it slows you down… then the client doesnt truely get what they paid for» the way she said that was so caring; I could now understand. Ill never go anywhere else.

There’s a real lack of professionalism here that I found actually alarming. While working on my face Tammi did not wear a mask or gloves, so she was effectively breathing into my mouth and covering my cheeks and chin with her bare hands, which were a bit clammy from sweat. She also worked while literally leaning on me, using my chest on which to prop her forearms, which was not only physically uncomfortable for me but also a bizarre invasion of personal space. Also as a previous reviewer noted, Tammi took a cell-phone call during my session while continuing to work on me(if a person is sticking a needle into my face, I’d prefer that her attention be undivided). All of this, while irritating, would not be such a big deal if Tammi were more competent at her job; although electrolysis is never what I’d call pleasant, I’ve still never had a more painful experience of it than I did with her. At the session’s conclusion, after Tammi let me know that she only takes cash or check, she seemed visibly annoyed when I gave her two twenties to cover the $ 25 charge, and made a big show of hunting down sufficient change, finally giving me the last dollar in quarters, dimes, and nickels. Seriously. How does one expect to conduct monetary transactions if cash is one of her only two accepted payment methods and she is not able to make change? That part was actually a little bit comical in the context of all of her other hygienic and interpersonal transgressions. In short, a completely aversive half-hour of my life; I couldn’t wait to get out of there. This is also the first and only Unilocal review I’ve ever written, but I was so motivated by the poor quality of the service I received that I’d like to help others to avoid it. Go somewhere else, and if you find someone good get the word out!

Tammi is the very best. I have been getting electrolysis done since the late1970s, although not regularly, and no one is faster or as good as Tammi. Tammi totally removed the dark hair on my face and my underarms. We are now finishing up my legs. She is the best in Atlanta and her prices are the best too. She is not perfect. She often answers her cell phone and talks on it while she is working on customers, and I don’t like that. But I have gone to so many people in Atlanta throughout the years, but I think I’ve been going to her for about 15 years steadily. If you wonder why all the hair isn’t removed by now, it’s because I go every few months, sometimes five times a year, sometimes more, sometimes less.
