Love it here! Wendy is my absolute favorite waitress. I hate when she’s not there. I’ve gotten seated with the waitress Ashley a few times and she always has the worst attitude. Other than her the rest of the staff is awesome! Perfect place for Sunday football!

I’m giving them 3.5 stars all around! In terms of pure viewing pleasure and fun factor — this place is a 4.75. Tons of screens in the front and back. High tops are more comfortable as the booths are a bit too upright and might have a crick in the neck if you are looking at the screens above you. The sound system is ok and if you need a break from the games, then you can play pool or darts. The best part is that this is smoke-free and there isn’t any kind of residual smell in general. As for food & service — it can be hit or miss. I’ve been here 6 times or so and 75% of the time it’s good. We’ve gotten baskets of tater tots that were fresh/hot out of the fryer and other times, cold in the middle. I love onion rings and unfortunately this is not the place to get them. Wings are really good and crispy as well as the salads. I may try the burger one day, but let’s see. Anyway, there aren’t many great«sports bars» in the area and I’m still looking, but I would definitely recommend this place given the«total package»

Decent food. Had the wings requested them extra crispy. Took awhile to get a drink. The waiter did not want to be there, so obviously customer service was bad. I’m use to good food and good customer service hard to find in atlanta.

I’m more of a regular and love this place any day of the week. They know how to make great quality drinks for inexpensive prices. Ask for Scott he makes them the way you like. Their burgers are magnificent. Much bigger than I have ever seen. Try the Chili burger, it is great and cures my hunger. lol There are TVs throughout so the game can’t be missed. There are pool tables in the back and even video games throughout the bar. There is ample free parking and a little patio if you want to hang outside.

Great place to watch football! The food is good to pretty good, though not great. It’s a bar and grill type place so that’s to be expected. There’s a very small amount of outdoor seating, and it’s much larger inside than it looks. TVs everywhere, and for multi-game days like an NFL Sunday, they have a chart at the front that tells you what games are on which TVs. Beer selection is a bit lacking, but not so much as to leave you with nothing to drink. We’ve always sat in Wendy’s section for football, and had fantastic service, but I know friends who sit elsewhere(to watch other games) and find the service sub-par.

We came for the first time in years and really enjoyed it. Lots of TV’s and pool tables but the food and bar are amazing. Service is really great as well! Awesome black bean burger on a pretzel bun and pub pretzels are fantastic! Nice job Benchwarmers!

Not bad food. Decent for a neighborhood sport bar. Not the best interior. …nothing fancy. Service was quick and waitress was friendly!

The service was horrible. It is extremely dusty, sticky and smoky. I took my 14 yr old twins and do not recommend this restaurant for family dining at all. The food was mediocre at best. If you’re going for a game of pool and cold beer, then this is a great spot!

A decent place to eat with a great atmosphere in classic sports bar décor. We asked about a few different items but the waitress always recommended a burger. So we all got burgers and they didn’t disappoint!

Went there Friday night. Wasn’t busy. The drinks are great. The food was terrible. I ordered the Fish N’ chips. They actually brought out a bag of chips! Lays potato chips! Hahaha. The fish was very old. Thank god the drinks are good. It’s a good place to watch a game and drink but I recommend you eat before going.

Absolutely love the food, drinks and bartenders. Unfortunately if you get a table the service is awful. I have been coming here for two years and the service has been consistently terrible. It’s really a shame. If you come here, make sure you sit at the bar to order anything. They’ll take a good care of you.

Kelly was our waitress and she was awesome!!! The wings had a different flavor but were fantastic! The atmosphere was clean and plenty of TVs to see every game. Middle class crowd. Pool tables and darts in the back. Definitely recommend to anyone and will come back.

It’s a great bar with TVs everywhere along the room. There are some booths along the side of the room if you want a more«quiet» spot or there’s the bar that faces a bunch of TVs. In the middle of the room are some tables with many, many wobbly stools. In the back are several games and pool tables so it’s a really cool place to go. There is a wide variety of food and their portion sizes are really big which is a plus. I had a large side of tater tots that could probably be a meal by itself or could be split about 4 ways and be good. Their mild wings are slightly on the salty end, but they do have a really good texture to them(deep fried and then the sauce is just put on a plate and they put the wings on top). The one downside to this place is a mixture of being understaffed and bad service. Our table was continually ordering beers, but it was really difficult to find our server to take our food order(took maybe 15 minutes to do that once we got in). On top of that, we ordered waters for the table and after it didn’t show up for 30 minutes, we asked someone else for it. Both people acknowledged it but never brought it out. This happened as they took orders for tables right next to us, brought out their drinks, and walked by our table several times. If the service was mediocre, I’d be back, but it was just plain bad.

Probably one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had, or better lack there of. I came with a friend to check out the restaurant expecting a good time. Unfortunately, upon arrival, there’s not a sign regarding seating so we stood at the hostess area for about 10 minutes just waiting before a couple came in and sat themselves, informing us of the norm. Lastly, and pretty much my entire impression of this restaurant, is the utter and complete lack of service we received after sitting down. The restaurant wasn’t even half full and the waitress seemed to blatantly ignore us, even after we had tried to get her attention while she was serving a nearby table; and after about 20 — 30 minutes without service, we left. Safe to say, I will never visit nor would I recommend it unless you are a regular at the restaurant or bar. Newcomers did not seem welcome on the evening we visited.

Went here with some buddies for a Falcons game and overall a good experience. The place is a little dingy but they have a bunch of TV’s and a dive bar atmosphere. Our server was crazy busy so we didnt see her much but she was very friendly and the fact that they were understaffed for a MNF game w/the Falcons playing was not her fault. Overall the food was good, what you would expect from a sports bar.

Benchwarmer’s has my FAVORITE wings in Atlanta! Also a surprisingly great house salad when you’re craving just your standard iceberg lettuce doused-in-ranch-and-shredded-cheese and topped with croutons kind of salad. I don’t know why, but I find it to be REALLY good. The atmosphere is lively and fun, especially when there’s a big game on. Quality sports bar, but could use some décor updates!

Favorite wings anywhere. Great for football as there are TV’s in every nook. For NFL games, every game is on at least 2TV’s. Usually a fun and diverse crowd. For non-sporting events, 3 good dart boards in the back and pool tables are decent shape.

Well… they have Buck Hunter. And two Golden Tee machines. And, of course, tons of TVs. The bartenders are usually fast and friendly. Sadly, that’s not enough to cancel out the mediocre food and spotty table service. It really is a bummer because there is potential here. If I’m going to be honest, there are better places to play arcade games, eat bar food, and watch football.

On my most recent, but unfortunately too short trip to ATL, I had the pleasure to meet up with Michelle K and James D for some after UYE before dinner drinks. They had recommended this place, and not knowing much about it, I was excited to check it out. Located off of Clairmont Rd, do not let the parking lot fool you. It looks pretty rough, but I promise– the potential sinkholes are only for show. When walking up, I noticed they had a patio, and when we walked in– I was amazed to see at how big the place was– and also how many TVs they had. Oh yea, they also have pool, darts, and arcades. I am sure I am leaving something out too. Oh yea, they had beer too. And drink specials. And a decent sized food menu. Since we were catching up, I didn’t really have time to look at the menu, I just saw soft pretzels and cheese, and I was sold. Got some beer to drink too. They have the actual bar, booths, and high tops. We sat at a high top– it had plenty of space. Our server was very nice, and I was told she had worked there for a few years. The pretzels came out, and damn they were good! They used the Mexican queso that does a great job clogging arteries, glad to try it with a soft pretz! Now here is some random. This place is a dive bar for the most part. It gets smokey, and yells All-American. Since I had the bladder of a 3 year old that day, I went to the restroom. And when I went, I couldn’t believe it, but there were pictures of French shit on the walls. The kicker was that one of the pics was of a place called Place Kleber, which was a restaurant that for the life of me I could not remember the name of that I had eaten in Paris eons ago. What are the odds of that? Thank you, random moment in the pisser! I told James and Michelle, they probably thought I was crazier than already, but oh well :) I do appreciate the fact you took me here, had a great time! This is a solid neighborhood spot if you wanna grab some drinks, or just go out and play outside of the house!
