My husband and I went here today to get new running shoes. Jillian was so helpful! She got us started with a pair of shoes and had us run on the treadmill. She brought out several options and spent a lot of time letting us run in each pair. Not only did she help us think about what we should be looking for and make great recommendations, she also gave us some great suggestions to improve our form. Highly recommended!

Hugh helped me find the perfect shoe. After trying on 7 different shoes, I finally found a shoe that I loved. Unfortunately, I needed the shoe in all black and they were unable to order it for me. Even though I didn’t purchase anything from them, they were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and understanding about my need. I would highly recommend them

Had a great experience here with Bob. I’ve only been here twice, but both times I’ve had great customer service and been able to find what I’m looking for. I have problems with my arches, and Bob was accommodating and helped me for almost an hour finding the right fit for my feet. A great, local place to get running shoes.

First time going into the store in Midtown and had a great experience with Katie. I hadn’t bought new walking/​running shoes in years and was glad to be in a place where they are experts. I got my feet and walk analyzed and Katie brought out several options for me to try. I’d walk on the treadmill to get a feel for the fit of the shoe and found a winner.
Amazingly easy and positive experience getting new shoes for an upcoming 5K, highly recommend them!

Very friendly staff. I really liked the fact that they found out I was visiting Atlanta and invited me to their weekly fun run (Thursday nights). It was a great way to explore the city with a fun group of people! As far as merchandise, the prices were very reasonable and they gave some great suggestions on new products I had never seen before. They even had a Adidas rep in the store to let you try out some of the newest shoes for free!

I had lots of fun today with Bonnie. She was funny, listened to me, identified with my newbie ism and knew exactly what she was doing! She also didn’t pressure me to buy anything although she made some recommendations. I like this place, will come back and eat next door at einsteins bagel when I’m done :) first impressions are everything

This store is awesome!!! they spent about 45 – 50 min working/​fitting me with the perfect shoe. They even have you jog in the shoes your trying either treadmill or around outside of store. If you are a runner this IS the place to go!

I had heard about this place and was thinking I would be in for a bike shop or REI like experience where the employee talks down to you b/​c you don’t know as much as they do. I was not there 5 minutes and David walked up and asked to help. The place was insanely busy too. He spent a good 25 minutes with me and my wife. I did the video analysis and then he went to the back and grabbed 3 pairs of shoes. The 3^rd pair I put on felt like a glove and really comfortable (Brooks Ghost 7). They feel like they were made for my foot. These people know their shoes and know their sport. They were very enthusiastic and were giving people tips on running clubs, ect. This store is really what a retail experience is all about. If you are want some great help finding some good walking or running shoes for a marathon, 5k, or daily walk — do yourself a favor and go to this store and ask for David.

This place was amazing. We stopped in front for some water, and I realized it was a running store, so I had to go in. I worked with Katie, and said upfront that I couldn’t buy a pair of shoes today. That didn’t seem to phase her and she worked with me for 45 minutes to find the right pair of shoes for me. There are enough rave reviews here, so I’ll keep it short. If you’re a runner, or want to be, this is the place to go.

This place is amazing. Just wanted to get that off my chest.
So today I swung by, finally ready to take the plunge and buy a pair of big boy running shoes. I’ve been running for a while, but never took the time to really invest in a pair of shoes that complimented my running style. That’s where this magical place stepped in.
Immediately upon walking in I was greeted by two very friendly folks at the counter, ready to help. I spent so long in the store I’ve forgotten the name of the kind, patient, and insanely knowledgable woman that helped me. She asked if I’ve been fitted before and I probably had a slightly blank look on my face as I said no. But that’s okay, they have some fancy technology to make it quick and simple.
That’s right, I said TECHNOLOGY. I love gadgets. Heck, I used to work for Apple, that’s how much I love technology. First, you stand on some cushiony-​sensory thing (technical term) and it figures out where you put your weight and how your arches are built. Gone are my amazing arches from undergrad, but they’re still pretty nice if you ask me. Using this super-​techno device, we figured out size and arch support. Then we went over to a treadmill with a camera setup so she could watch me run. We watched the glorious footage of my pasty-​white calves gliding across the treadmill with my left ankle turning in ever so slightly. She recommended a mostly neutral shoe (I learned all about pronation! You should, too!
) with a small amount of support for my left ankle. (Blasted old dance injury.) And thus began trying on shoes.
Talk about patience: we went through five pairs of shoes. Multiple times. She had me run a couple of minutes in each pair of shoe. After five pairs, we narrowed it down to three. Then she had me run in all of them again! I was able to eliminate an amazing pair of Pearl Izumis, and narrow it down to a pair of New Balances and a pair of Asics. (Two of my favorite brands, already!) I ran in them again. Then I ran in one on my left and one on my right. I couldn’t make up my mind. I told her I was thinking about just buying both pairs and calling it a day. She let me know of their generous return policy and told me to wear them around the house a few days and see which one I liked best, or just keep them. Overall, I probably ran at least twenty minutes while testing shoes. She was super patient with me and insanely helpful. Nearly an hour later, I walked out with a purchase I’m insanely happy with and ready to go running even more. Wonderful experience. Everyone there is so helpful, smart, kind, and passionate about running. It’s like an Apple Store for running! I love this place.

This place is amazing. I’m a new runner and have recently started training with a friend for a marathon next year. I went in to get new shoes and David helped me out. My running buddy and my husband came with and we were greeted as soon as we came in the door. They have a very thorough process to get your gait examined and get you in the right shoe. We tried on quite a few pairs and David was so patient and determined to get me in the perfect shoes. Other customers were coming in during my visit, but David was so attentive and never left us to go wait on other people. I found the perfect shoes and LOVE them. I will absolutely be back to Big Peach for any other running shoes/​apparel.

A few years ago I decided I was going to get «serious» about running, which meant coughing up more cash for the right gear.
I had a great first experience at the Brookhaven location and was stoked to find out there is a location now in Midtown. I came to the store a few weeks ago with my pair of shoes I was trying to replace. I told them what things I didn’t like about my current pair. They listened closely, then promptly got me into a pair of «neutral» shoes and on the treadmill for re-​evaluation of my stride.
David, the associate that helped me, was great in explaining all the technicalities. Like most people I over-​pronate, but only in my left foot. We tried on a bunch of pairs of shoes. David came up with the idea of me trying on some men’s styles because my feet are wide at the front. It was a WORLD of difference trying on men’s shoes, and I’m really glad he had the thought to try it out. I ended up with a New Balance men’s shoe– about $ 120.
A few days later I went for a run in my new shoes, and about 5 minutes in started experiencing painful shin splints in my right leg. These shoes were not my perfect fit — my Cinderella Glass Slipper as David put it.
So I came in a few weeks later (I had only run on the pair once) and told them these shoes weren’t for me. David was there, and we went through the process again. This time we talked a lot about how trying to «fix» the overpronation in my left foot my be causing the shin splints in my right leg due to how my right foot was now hitting the ground with a less-​natural strike.
Do you EVER have this conversation when you’re looking at shoes at Sports Authority? I didn’t think so.
This time, we wanted to be ABSOLUTELY SURE I had the right shoe. So I actually ran around the store a few times in various shoes, and… ended up with the same exact style of shoe (Brooks Adrenaline) I had when I visited the Brookhaven location, just the newer version. David also put in the notes in my profile the other shoe that was a close second (Saucony Omni) just in case this pair doesn’t work out.
The reason I LOVE this store and shared this whole experience is because Big Peach excels in customer service. In total they probably spent 2 hours in one-​on-​one service with me to make sure I had the absolutely perfect «glass slipper».
Parking was no problem when I came on a Saturday afternoon, but was an absolute CLUSTER when I came on a Monday after work, because the same lot used for Big Peach parking is used for Escorpion valet. When I arrived there was exactly 1 spot available and when I left the valet guys had my car blocked in and then yelled at me because it took me a few tries to get my car out of the lot. So– I would recommend you come in on a weekend or don’t drive to the store on a weekday.
Big Peach also offers a variety of running clothing, a whole WALL of running socks (I really want some for Christmas!), supplements and powders, running gel, etc. Pretty much anything you need if you’re a runner. They also have «leisure» sneakers in their offering as well.
Post Script — I’ve done two runs in my new shoes and they are wonderful!

Even if you’re only a light runner who is not that serious about it, then you need to be fitted for running shoes that compliment your running style. Otherwise, you’re just an injury waiting to happen (I know from experience). Big Peach is a great store to buy your next pair of kicks from.
There are 2 things that I really like about this Big Peach location: technology and their sales associates. I love technology and believe in the science behind optimizing human athletic performance. Big Peach utilizes this technology in at least 2 ways. First, they have you stand on a pad that displays where your foot’s pressure points are. This helps determine how much arch support you need. Second, they video record your running style on a treadmill to define what type of pronator you are. This helps determine how much support/​stability you need from your shoe.
My sales associate, Trish, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. She explained the differences between the pairs of shoes that she had me try on. There was no pressure to purchase any of the pairs and she genuinely wanted me to end up with the pair of shoes that I liked most. I tried the same pairs of shoes on multiple times and tested them on the running path/​track that they have inside the store. The rest of the staff that I interacted with was friendly as well. It was easy to tell that they are passionate about running.
Overall, I had a great experience and will recommend this store to anyone in the market for new running shoes.
Parking is free in a lot just before the store if you’re heading south on Peachtree.

LOVE Big Peach!!! They always have great advice and friendly service! The fit process is great and it stays on file so they can recommend shoes for years to come. Any running issue you might have, they can help you solve or point you in the right direction. They have tons of options and you can try on and test out shoes and other products before you buy them.
I have been to 3 different locations and I would give them all the same awesome review-​Im just writing it for this location because its my neighborhood location!
They are a great group of people who are passionate about running and know how to answer your questions!
Update: I got some shoes 2 months ago from BPRC and they have not been working out for me. They are totally used and muddy. I talked to as associate and she said I don’t care if you have stepped in every mud puddle in Atlanta, if you don’t like them bring them back for an exchange or full refund! WHAT??? That is unheard of customer service! I was in and out with a new pair of shoes in less than 10 minutes, no hassle and everyone was so friendly! I will NEVER buy any running stuff anywhere but Big Peach!

Great Addition to the Midtown Area! I am fairly new to running but I have been working out all my life. However, I knew within 2 weeks of being on a treadmill that my cheap, clunky, tennis shoes were not going to do the trick.
A coworker recommended Big Peach and since I know this location was in my neighborhood I decided to check them out. They do a very thorough foot analysis and they recommend shoes to try on based on their findings. So fair warning, it’s not going to be a quick «in-​and-​out» experience.
David assisted me with the process and he was a great educator on all things running! The experience was so great, I felt like I was in «Say Yes To The Dress» and when I finally found my pair of shoes, it felt like floating on air. Just like «Say Yes», you will know immediately that you have found the right shoes and you will breathe the biggest sigh of relief in the world.
If you need a «perfect» pair of shoes, then run to Big Peach. It can get pricey but the experience is well worth it if you’re a serious runner or want to be. My feet will be thanking me!
They also have Thursday night group runs at this location with about 30 – 70 people of varying levels if you’re looking for something to do during the week.
