I came to this restaurant for my husband’s birthday with the whole family. I must say, we were quite dissapointed in our food. I got the gnocchi in what seemed to be a brown butter sauce. There was very little flavor to the sauce and the gnocchi itself needed salt. The texture of the gnocchi was too dense and chewy for something that should be light and soft. My husband got the buccatini which was so undercooked that we had to send it back. Al dente is one thing, but when it is literally getting stuck in your teeth, you know it’s too undercooked. My mother got the duck Rissoto which we tried to send back due to the fact that there was not one scratch of duck in the dish. When we told the server, she argued with us and pointed at the Jerusalem artichoke and said… «There’s some right there!» I had to explain to her that what she was pointing out were actually vegetables and that I had literally went through the entire dish looking for duck. They brought us some on the side. The brussels sprouts side we ordered was charred on the outside and mush on the inside. Never actually had a mouth feel of brussels like that before. Just not good. We never got a refill on our water which we continuously asked for. We were SEVERELY dissapointed in this restaurant and truly hope they are able to turn things around before they go under. It’s too good of a location to lose.

Not very vegetarian friendly. Wish there was more than just pizza for my vegetarian friend. The bruschetta was good though.

A true treat, I don’t usually eat food but this restaurant had me coming back time and time again when I felt that bad, tummy-hurt pain in my stomach.

This was a wonderful experience. I will say the hostesses seem positively miserable, but beyond that the service was outstanding. We had Pizza Oysters Roasted Chicken Lamb Hanger Steak Bucatini Pasta Side of greens Side of roasted potatoes Everything was so yummy and perfectly prepared. I’ve noticed other reviews that mentioned the chicken was dry and overlooked. I did not find that to be the case whatsoever. It was cooked all the way through to the bone and the meat white, as chicken thoroughly cooked is supposed to be. The salsa verde that comes with the chicken is divine. Everything was awesome! I can’t remember the waiters name, but I know he had a tattoo on his arm that said, «I love you». If you get this guy as your waiter, you’ll be very pleased. Oh yes, the side order of roasted potatoes… best potatoes I’ve ever had! Go here.

We have been here three times this month and will keep going back for more! The insalata with roasted veggies is scrumptious. Wood roasted oysters, sacred. Grilled chicken entrée(order a side) and the gnocchi entrée are also our favs. Truly a great dining experience from high energy atmosphere to the incredibly helpful wait staff. Five stars all the way!

I’m going to keep this review as short as I can yet cover all the details. Let me start by saying this place is a MUSTTRY!!! Ambiance: Sexy Service: Top Notch(Tom was our server) Food: Exquisite I’m not sure what’s on Tom’s resume but he’s my kind of server! He made some suggestions and spoke intelligently about items on the menu, which showed me he has actually eaten the food and he likes what he does! Kale salad? Delicious. The right blend of kale(finely chopped), crushed croutons, Parmesan cheese(I think). Whatever the ingredients, it was to die for. I had mahi mahi & broccoli with some kind of reddish orange sauce. I don’t like fishy fish so the mahi mahi was right up my alley. I only wish the dish came with more broccoli. I only got 3 – 4 pieces of chopped up broccoli. It was charred from the grill and had lemon juice on it. OMG!!! I was overwhelmed by the wine/cocktail menu. All I wanted was a glass of wine. Tom suggested the rose’ and it was just what I was looking for. Smooth and sweet. He definitely knows the product! I wanted to complete my fine dining experience with a nice dessert but the desert menu wasn’t to my liking. Will I go back? Yes. Do I suggest you go? Yes. Please ask for Tom. He’s awesome and so is the food at Brezza Cucina!

Just had lunch here with two friends and plan to come back as soon as possible. Matthew, our server, was great and the food was just perfect. The fish with a citrusy sauce was a real standout, but everything was delicious.

First of visit, and just had lunch. Started with the Olive Miste and salumi platter, hard to mess these up. Had the lunch entrée of gnocchi with hen of the woods mushrooms and parmesan, I thought this dish was a little salty. My waiter was nice to brjng me some bread with this to dunk in the sauce. Will definitely be back.

I went there with a friend trying something new since we have not been to Ponce City Market yet. We decided to come eat at this restaurant since it had good seating. I will start with the pro’s: The service was excellent with our waiter. When I had an issue with my food, management was on it immediately and did attempt to correct the situation. Con’s: I decided to order the JW chicken, their«signature» dish with a side of wilted greens The chicken was dry but it had good flavor. The wilted green was just horrible! There was so much vinegar in them every time I took a breath in to try to eat the greens, it would make me cough. The flavor was even worse! If you can imagine greens cooked for about 12 hours straight and pour a whole gallon of vinegar that is how they tasted. Knowing I did not like the greens… I ordered the salmon and what is under the salmon? Yes more of those nasty greens! I felt bad for our gracious waiter whom was most helpful thinking he lost money on poor food quality! I got my ticket only charged for my Sprite so I gave him a $ 20 bill and told him to keep the change.

A little hit or miss. Hit: Service — after the miss experienced by my friend on her selection — the server and manager did a fantastic job at recovering the experience and not making us feel like we were out of line… BIG Kudos to that!, beverage selection, chicken parm sandwich, atmosphere. The sweet potatoes were good as well but I typically dont eat them and I still liked them! Miss: The JW Chicken :(It was a bit overcooked(dry) so for the price — was sent back. The wilted greens were also overcooked(way wilted) and very vinegary. Sent back. In its place was the salmon which was cooked well. And tasty.

After bailing on Star Wars(sorry fans! But I waited in the lobby for 90 min for hubs), we stopped to check out Ponce City Market. We found our way down to Brezza and after discovering that Mercury(Pinewood Tippling Room progeny) is not yet open, we decided to chance it and dine at Brezza’s bar. The service is just okay but the food is really wonderful – totally surprised me. I guess I was expecting airport food or mall quality but this was truly a delight. Skip the pizza — it was also just okay but the Grouper served on Bok Choy with fennel and it was delicious. perfectly cooked and layers of flavor. Our side of sweet potatoes was really good — crispy skin and great tasting. The bottom was a little oily, which kept me from eating every bite — but the first bites were so good and the portion generous, so no sweat! Really liked Ponce City Market and look forward to trying other places there!

Unlike other diners’ experiences, we had very good service… once we were seated last night. The host girl, though, said she needed to find some menus, so although we were there for our reservation time at 7PM on a Wednesday night and there were lots of open tables at the restaurant, we were told to wait a bit. After about 10 minutes, one in our party went to ask what the hold up was and the girl said that she was short menus and they were for reserved tables only. When told that we had a reservation, she said, «oh» and showed our party of 4 to a table set for 3. Weird. They brought another place setting and all was starting to look up. Our server, Clay, was very attentive and sweet. The food, though. Hmmm. We had read a glowing review in the Knife and Fork, a publication by our favorite food critic. We were, thus, expecting really awesome food. Maybe we should have gone in without having read a single review. We didn’t get it. The gnocchi was good but a little more potatoey than most good gnocchi this Italian has eaten in my life and browned a little too much, creating a crust. The sauce was kinda forgettable.(and, yes, I am aware that gnocchi is made with potatoes, there’s a good balance between the flour and potato that defines good gnocchi. Theirs is too much potato.) The lamb shank was good as lamb shanks are prone to be when you braise them long enough, but the dish was a little too one note. Maybe some vinegar/citrus to brighten the dish or something crunchy for texture? The hangar steak was not impressive at all. It was ordered to be medium temperature and was actually more on the rare side in places, not evenly cooked and way under-seasoned. We didn’t get dessert and since we had appetizers at our house before heading over, we didn’t order any at Brezza. I know it’s a new restaurant and has kinks to be worked out, but Atlanta is a big town filled with lots of great food. For the price point, Brezza needs to step it up a notch and compete or it won’t be around for very long. As it stands, no one in our party was impressed enough to come back. We’ll go to Bocca Lupo for our pasta and Kevin Rathbun Steak for our meats over Brezza Cucina.

Great food, mediocre service, no restrooms in the restaurant. Went here on Saturday December 26th for my brothers birthday. By the time we walked in I desperately needed a drink. The parking cluster F: k of getting into PCM put me in a bad mood(review of PCM is separate from this review of Brezza). Pros– lively dining scene in Brezza. Pretty décor. We sat near the open kitchen and enjoyed watching the show. The pizza was top notch. The risotto was top notch. Drink and wine list is very good. Cons — our waiter was nice but overwhelmed with the tables assigned to him. Noise level was loud. Elderly and those with hearing aids will have problems. I like this place and would dine here again provided I already happened to be in the area and did not have to deal with the parking.

A once enjoyable restaurant became a true disappointment for us. We’ve dined at Brezza a couple of times and had enjoyed our meals(gnoochi is outstanding). However, this time around we were told an hour wait and waited for an hour and a half… Only to be told it would be another 20 minutes. We chose to eat elsewhere. We’re fine waiting for a good meal but please be realistic and fair to your customers regarding the wait time so they can plan accordingly.

3Stars because the space is beautiful & Ponce Market is a wonderfully fresh place to visit! The food at Brezza was OK at best. We were there for brunch on a Sunday. Service was super slow but we were not in a hurry so it wasn’t too much of an issue. The frittata was not flavorful… But the olive oil drizzle on the plate was. The chicken parm sandwhich looked good & my friend said it was but her salad was so spicy she couldn’t eat it! The shrimp polenta concoction was very tasty & a very small portion. We were still hungry so we ordered the brioche with apple butter something… That was a joke! Two thin slices of what tasted like skimpy pound cake… So, we were under impressed but would probably try it for lunch or dinner.

The space is lovely — open, plenty of space between tables which I love, and the décor is comfortable. The iced tea comes in a small glass pitcher with a side glass of ice with a lemon on the rim and a baby pitcher of simple syrup to sweeten it with. The tea has a good flavor too, unlike some restaurants whose brewed iced tea looks like water with a slight tan. We went there for the gnocchi, which my husband has eaten before and called«life changing» — unfortunately on Sundays they serve a brunch menu and not lunch, so we weren’t able to order the life-changing gnocchi. Oh well. I ordered the fritatta del giorno which was eggs with charred onions, tomatoes and fontina cheese in a tomato fondue with a bit of chili oil. Hubby ordered the chicken parm sandwich.(Peyton Manning has ruined those for us. We can’t order one without singing, «Chicken parm you taste so gooood…» to the tune of the Nationwide Insurance jingle. But I digress.) Our food took a bit too long to come out of the kitchen(probably about 25 minutes if I’m not being dramatic.) In fact, the party who sat down 15 minutes after we did got their food before we did, but only by a minute. That’s the only reason I’m giving it four and not five stars. Besides the pace of the food’s arrival, the waiter service was good. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his job and about food in general. I like a server who has opinions about the items on the menu and he definitely did. When it did finally arrive, I was delighted to find the chicken parm sandwich is WONDERFUL. The chicken breast is flavorful and so moist and tender. It comes on a huge and delicious ciabatta bread roll with the most yummy green sauce that tastes of fresh basil and rosemary, as well as marinara sauce. The kale salad that accompanies it on the plate is crisp and fresh but look out! It’s hot as hell. The dressing is a lemon vinaigrette with a kind of pepper I can’t remember but it’s HOT. I had an issue with my fritatta, which they fixed by quickly fixing me a whole new plate, plus they brought out a complimentary side dish of these amazeballs«JW Potatoes» which are red potatoes steamed, then smashed, then flash fried and served with rosemary and parmesan cheese. O. M. G. were they delicious! Sometimes the character of a company is best judged not when everything is perfect, but instead by how they react when something goes wrong. In this case, they not only replaced my entrée very quickly with a fresh one, then brought the delicious potatoes at no charge, but ALSO at the end of the meal, informed us that they had also comped my entrée. That was VERY nice and much appreciated even though we weren’t expecting it. We will definitely go back there for dinner with friends because let’s face it, one MUST try life-changing gnocchi before it goes off the menu.

Venturing around PCM, my friend and I were looking for a place to eat, but we wanted a restaurant feel instead of a cafeteria/open air seating amongst the hundreds of people wondering around the market… and tucked in the back corner of PCM was Brezza! We wondered up to the podium to check a menu out and see what the Saturday brunch had to offer. At first, I was skeptical because the menu was slightly limited on offerings. But, we ended up seeing what they had to offer and took a seat. The layout of the place is very open and still connected with the flow of PCM, but still has the feeling of it being a separate space. There are essentially three different sections to Brezza, all in the same room… one that allows you a close up to the kitchen and is more of the dining area, then there is a space with a few tables that sits between this dining area and the bar that is separated by gates and pile-ons and lastly is the abovementioned bar area with several seats surrounding the fully stocked bar coupled with several high tops in the immediate area. Now, to the food… They had a yummy pizza with egg, prosciutto and a pesto sauce. The pizza was good sized and the crust was crisp and airy in all the right ways. However, the egg was cooked a little too long making it harder than normal and not runny at all. The waiter stated that the chef recommended«swirling the egg around the pizza» to get the best result, but in my case the egg was way to firm. Overall, it was still good, but I would probably go with something else on the next visit. However, my friend got the chicken parm sandwich and it was really good! It was served with a kale salad that was also decently tasty! Overall, the sandwich won out on the meal of the day for us. I would definitely visit again and see it happening soon as I am in love with PCM so far!

I was lured by the décor and their pizza oven. Here’s the DL. + light through antique Windows + spacious and open décor — inattentive bar tenders /servers — overly salted food — over priced wines Bottom line, food and service are below average. There are better choices to try at PM.

I give this place a 3.5. Mediocre Italian food, but good ambiance! I was with family and we didn’t feel like waiting in line or trying to find a place to sit in the middle of the food hall. So, we were glad to see that Brezza had an open dining room with no wait and lots of seating. The restaurant is located in the back corner of the Food Hall right by Williams-Sonoma. The ambiance and atmosphere is very nice with garden lights hanging from the ceiling — very romantic. We were quickly seated to our table and our server gave us the specials and what the Chef at Brezza is known for. Our table of five ordered the hamachi and wood roasted oysters to start. Beware portions are TINY. i.e. the oysters were almost $ 20 for 5 tiny tiny oysters(refer to pic). For my main I got the gnocchi and it was probably the best thing we had at our table. The chef sears the gnocchi prior to boiling it I believe. Very delicious and the sauce was bomb. I was scraping the flavorless pizza crusts on the gnocchi sauce. The pizza was just okay… it was a bit dry and lacked flavor. They don’t have their liquor license yet, but they are accommodating guests by letting them BYOA from Holeman Finch bar. Overall, ambiance is on point, service is good, food is so-so and overpriced.
