This place is EVERYTHING! I’ve been visiting this restaurant regularly for about a year now, and every time the service and food is excellent! I normally get the breakfast sandwich, but recently I decided to switch things up — because I tend to only stick to one thing that I like everywhere I go — and try the papusas. I got the veggie papusa with a side of avocado slices… and let’s just say I have a new favorite! The owner Ken and the staff are super friendly, also; MAJOR plus. Also, I’m a Georgia State student so it’s super convenient to get there as it’s in close proximity to many of my classes. If you’re ever on campus and want to try great, Latin cuisine that is also healthy, visit this place!

We ate breakfast here. We both had sandwiches with Cubano bread. It was very tasty and filling. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Limited seating had the feel of a coffee shop.

This is the best part of coming back to GSU. When I was here in the 90s, there were no good quick breakfast/lunch options. I’m not sure how many options there are now, but this is all I need. I thought the breakfast quesadilla was the best quesadilla even – until I had the chicken. Mojo marinade of the gods. Fresh veggies galore. Pro tip: ask for pico. Great coffee too!

Ok, so I’ve come back(again and again and again). Everything I said before holds up, except I’ve come to appreciate it more. It really is the friendliest coffee shop around(I’m greeted by name when I walk in), it’s my favorite coffee in the area, they carry awesome local bagels(Emerald City), they put the cream cheese on the bagel for you(it’s the little things, you know?), etc. I still have to come back later in the day to try more of the food and the fresh juices, but I whole-heartedly recommend this place.

Jeanette was amazing! The café con leche is authentic and the best I’ve had. The food options looked tasty, and I was assured everything is made fresh. I’ll be sure to try some tacos or baked goods next time. A great café for locals and students alike.

Got the breakfast quesadilla, which was tasty, large, and not overly cheesy. The service was quick and friendly. The guy at the counter even gave me a free sample of their natural fruit juice, which was very tasty. She seemed to know almost everyone that came in by name, and ask them about their mornings. I thought that was very sweet.

This café has bold and fresh flavoured coffee and a full Latin food menu. The Americano is not watered down and is served piping hot. I ordered a side of black beans to-go and they were enclosed in a plastic Tupperware like container that was spill proof even after tumbling around in my book bag. Customer service was excellent and they have a buy 10 get one free rewards card. I’ll definitely be returning!

Definitely the nicest staff I’ve ever seen at a coffee shop in Atlanta. Their coffee choices, from the basic to the complex, is always very good. I have not tried everything on their food menu but I haven’t been disappointed with their breakfast items, especially the croissant sandwiches. Definitely try this place once and you won’t regret it!

Love this place… stop by almost every Tuesday and Thursday before my first class to get my café con leche fix. Service is always great and owner is awesome, makes effort to get to know the people who come in. Also the muffins are life changing… just sayin

It’s great to have this spot downtown; saves you from the chains. Food and coffee are great. My only beef is that it is a little bit overpriced for the amount of food you get. Wish some of the items were a bit bigger. Also, it definitely smells like a grill, and you smell like it too when you leave.

I used to come here a lot, since as president of Spanish Club at GSU, I’d hold meetups here, or at least tried to. Anyway, I’ve gotten the Cuban sandwich, coffee, and a pastry from them before. They’re pretty solid and I think the owner is awesome! Nice décor and atmosphere. What’s holding me back from giving this place five stars? It’s a little pricey, especially for a cup of hot chocolate? $ 2.75? It’s $ 1.89 at Dunkin’ Donuts. Otherwise, this place would get the five star handed to them.

I’ve since had the Cuban sandwich a couple of times and it’s the best I’ve ever had. Five stars all the way.

Their Juice and Iced Coffee were great! The inside was cool and refreshing, and the beverages were well made and energizing. I am excited to try their food, as the other Unilocalers are raving about it. :)

This place is a hit on the GSU campus. Hopefully, it won’t leave as quick as other places in that area have. I’ve have their Juice, which is a smoothie blend of everything good. Texture and flavor was on point. However, it’s pretty pricey… comparable to the cost of a sandwich! The pastellios(spelling?) are something like I’ve never had before. Who knew guava could taste so good in a puff pastry?! Other than the pastellios, i don’t know if there’s anything else that’s snacky besides packaged plantain chips. A large iced coffee was under 3 dollars and it was great. All of their coffees seem to have a fancy bean name behind them. I’m about to head there now… thinking about a latte!

I am a GSU student so this café is right on campus. First off, the owners are so friendly and kind! I walked in just a few minutes before closing and they offered to let me stay and eat my meal while they closed down for the day. I ordered 3 breakfast tacos(they serve breakfast all day) and the ingredients were very fresh and the portion sizes are extremely generous for the low price you’re paying. Also, the menu is very unique and vegetarian/vegan friendly. They even have fresh juice! I can’t speak for the coffee, but my coffee-snob Cuban friend only comes here to get her fix when at GSU. I will definitely be back. Love this place– the food, the people, and the overall atmosphere.

I work at GSU, and Buenos Dias is right next door to me. I started going for the coffee, stayed for a sandwich, and keep coming back for the service. I can’t get over how friendly everyone is. The owner, Ken, is so genuine and so engaging. The coffee is good– I love Cuban coffee & café con leche, they do it right. I’ve only had the Cuban and breakfast sandwiches, which are solid. The Cuban has just the right amount of tangy pickles & mustard, and the bread is crispy and delicious. I’m pretty sure there’s enough butter on there to… do whatever a lot of butter does. The juice blend of the day is nice for a treat in the afternoon. Today’s juice blend includes the blood of our enemies and coconut, both of which I love. Bueno Dias Café is a quirky little hidden gem. Check it out if you’re in the area.

Dear people of Atlanta, it may be news to you but Mexico and Cuba have very different foods. Therefore when you see Mexican and Cuban in one restaurant title, run away fast! I don’t know why I folded in this case; probably cause it’s right next to school and I’m dreadfully overworked so I was excited to see something new on the block. Trust me, Mexican and Cuban foods are both wonderful in and of themselves, but please don’t apply the best of both worlds idealism here! I gave two stars, one for the juice, the second for most of the staff being sweet. But the truth is, this was the worst and most overpriced place I have tried in a while. How did a lunch veg quesadilla and small juice come to 12.70? They use a black bean smear on the quesadilla, looks like a wipe of blue-black mayo. That’s their idea of a quesadilla making, me thinks I’ll stop here!

Buenos dias was recommended by a guide in Atlanta’s visitors center while touring in Atlanta. It was a short walk from the visitors center and definitely a unique café that is worth a visit. Café had a Latin American flair and you feel like you’ve relocated to a different continent. While this seems more like a café for the locals, it definitely became a memorable part of my visit to Atlanta. Coffee was strong with rich dark aroma and kept me energized for my entire day. Saw a bunch of locals who seemed to be working/studying. Tip for the owners think the place could be cleaner. Would have given 5 stars if the place was cleaner. It wasn’t filthy but the creamer section needs more frequent wipe downs for sure.
