Been here many times it’s cheap and generous portions make it good as well as the food which has yet to disappoint.

What a great downtown hidden gem! Our food was fast and delicious! Would totally recommend for a quick lunch stop! Would definitely return here. Diner food is always great!

Stopped off here for a quick lunch on my way into the office one day. I’d heard this was a good place to grab a quick breakfast. My cheese-steak lunch did come out quickly, but it somehow did not satisfy. Still, it was at least filling. And I won’t be afraid to go back and try something different. Maybe the aforementioned breakfast. Holler if you’re coming with!

I went there last week and ordered a veggie burger and a garden salad for lunch. The total was less than 10 $ which was great. Unfortunately, I expected to receive a fresh made burger. It was frozen, and I saw her heat it up in the microwave. that’s a huge disappointment. the serving size of the sale was great but it would’ve been better it was fresher. Overall the cheap prices will have me coming back, but i definitely won’t order veggie burger anymore.

I came here for breakfast and the food was not good at all. I order a bacon cheese biscuit and some potato tots. How can you mess that up??? They only gave me 1 and half pieces of bacon and the sandwich and the tots were cold. I think this was total waste of my money even of it was only $ 5. I could have gotten a better breakfast at Mc Donalds!!!

This is a solid breakfast spot. I’ve been coming here for a couple of months. The couple are friendly and the food is consistently good. I always get the croissant with veggie sausage, which not too many places have. One thing that would improve this restaurant is the addition of some fresh fruits and maybe a greater selection of salads with fresh vegetables. But overall, this place is great.

Surprisingly good food for the price. We popped in for a quick breakfast on a weekday morning and were in and out quick. I ordered a standard eggs, toast, bacon, tater tots and my friend got a croissant egg/sausage sandwich. All of that with an OJ came to under $ 10. The food is nothing special, but it’s decent. Eggs are cooked fresh, not mixed from a powder, and tater tots were crispy. Bacon was thin and halfway between crisp and limp, toast was toast. It’s not somewhere I’d look forward to going to again, but definitely somewhere I’d eat at next time I’m in a bit of a rush in downtown Atlanta.

Cheap food. I didn’t eat here but my friend did. I purchased something else but the owners were really chatty. Nice experience. Not used to that coming from NYC. They actually have time to talk to you about things and not even things about the menu.

Really great place for a burger. It is insanely cheap, fast and service comes with a smile. The burgers are nice and juicy. They would CRUSH any fast food burger in a taste competition, and they are also cheaper.

Maybe it was because I was sick to my stomach with nerves and anxiety from a nerve-wrecking 2.5 interview process, but the food was pretty mediocre. I could be knocking a place before giving it a fair chance, but the gyro was not what I was expecting, nor wanting. They pretty much skimped out on the meat, and loaded me up on tomatoes and sauce. I should probably come back on a day where I’m more willing to have food in my stomach, but for now, eh, better gyros at Great Wraps.

Cheap, shitty food for poor college students. It got me through two years at GSU.

Go to Georgia State University and think to yourself«Where can I eat that is cheap, very good, and has big portions?». Well my friends, look no further. I present to you Weekday Café! The food here sticks to your ribs and mske you smile the whole day through. A simple hamburger and fries are great and the patty melt will make your eyes roll back into your head. The people the workers here are extremely sweet and that just makes the experience more pleasing. Love I found this little treasure and will countine to come back.

On this cold, rainy morning, freezing water drops pierced my skin while I endured the quarter-mile walk from parking garage to office building. Hungry and in need of caffeine, I ventured off my normal route to Park Place, drawn to the glowing OPEN sign in front of Weekday Café. «It’s cold and wet out there!» carped one customer. «It’s only in your mind,» smiled the pleasant little man at the front. I ordered a chicken/cheese/egg biscuit and a coffee with milk. The man asked me how much milk I wanted in my coffee, demonstrating an inch measurement on the cup with his thumb and index finger. «You’ve gotta get your cup just right!» he grinned. The Weekday Café made my day on an otherwise miserable morning. Plus, for just under $ 5, my breakfast hit the spot.

Weekday is one of my frequent lunch hang-outs. Its closeby the office, the prices are relatively reasonable, and the selection is pretty broad. They serve both breakfast and lunch. Like most of the downtown establishments, they offer discounts to GA State students, but since I’m not one of them, I don’t pay much attention. For breakfast, its a really reasonably priced hearty breakfast. Their bacon leaves a little to be desired, but pretty good. You get eggs, grits, toast, meat… all for around $ 4. They have sandwiches, pancakes, and a few other things as well. For lunch, the reason I keep going back is for their fries. I really enjoy the nice, skinny, crispy fries. They really do it for me. And, they give you a nice amount. They have all kinds of burgers — veggie, turkey, beef, salmon, etc. They have some sandwiches, phillies(chicken & beef), wings, and quite a few other options. The customer service is pretty hit or miss. There is a couple who own it. The husband has a pretty good personality, he’s personable on most days. The wife… not so much. You’ll generally not see anyone else besides them actually interacting with the customer. They have some folks who cook from time to time to thelp them out. Nothing fancy, nothing elegant. Hardly gonna write home about it — but it’ll get you full for a pretty good price.
