I am so happy. I went to Café Posh today with a good friend. She had not experienced their goodness. We both ordered their Curry Chicken Salad. What a great choice! Delicious, light, tasty — all around great! Be sure to check them out. They have a full takeout menu and prepared foods as well.

I used to crave the freshly prepared Falalel Pita 2 years ago when it was fresh. The pita was filled with lettuce, tomato, harrissa and tahin. I visited today and sadly discovered this was no longer the case. It had to have been pre-mixed box falafel. What a huge disappointment this was! To make matters worse, it was $ 16.00 for the Pita and a water! I’m now in search of the«new» best falalfel in town.

Love, love, love their paninis, especially the veggie paninis and the tuna with preserved lemons. They are both delicious. Ask for their house mayo, it’s fantastic. The owner is very nice and knows her regulars. Sometimes it can get a bit busy, but the only real point of contention are the limited open hours.

This is my preferable place for lunch, I love the Schnitzel Pita as the main course and for starter I recommend the Falafel with Humus and Tahini. Nice people and fresh food. They have also the best Pita bread in the area for selling separately so I am buying it for home.

I was unhappy with the service. When I told the server that, instead of water brimming with ice I had asked for water without it, she had a «NOW you tell me» reaction. Then she took it away and didn’t return; I felt like I was being punished for being so fussy. I finally had to ask another server for water. And THEN she got the order mixed up and I got the wrong salad(was I being further punished?). I didn’t bother to ask for the one I ordered. The salad was OK, but frankly I do just as well with Safeway’s prepared salads at one-third the price. As the Safeway reference indicates, I don’t live in the area and won’t be heading back anytime soon regardless of my experience. The place was busy fairly late in the afternoon, and salads aren’t the best dish for determining food imagination and quality. The great majority of diners may well have had a pleasant experience and perhaps you will too. But not me.

No matter where I move to in this city, I drive many miles back to my favorite little café, Café Posh. This place always makes me feel like I am at home in someone’s kitchen, serving me. With the BEST ingredients and cozy atmosphere. I can trust that if I come here, I can spend my time enjoying a coffee, cappuccino, lunch or even dinner. I actually enjoy the iced mocha. There is something about it that is absolutely delicious. I treat myself to one whenever I can. The Israeli Breakfast is PERFECT. The quality, quantity, taste, and presentation makes me feel like I did something right when I start my day with the Israeli breakfast. I have had MANY meals here. Babaganoush is to die for, salmon and lox, peppered turkey sandwich, banana bread. etc The lady that has owned and ran the place is so sweet, recognizing me treating me like a family member more than a costumer.

Café Posh is the best restaurant within this Kroger plaza. If you live in the area, do give it a try! Especially if you are a fan of Middle Easter/Mediterranean cuisine. When I asked the waitress what was popular, she proudly said, «Everything. We’ve been here for 14 years.» I was very satisfied with the Chicken Shawarma Pita — a huge pita packed with thinly sliced chicken, hummus, tahini, pickles, cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce and a small spicy kick. Delicious! The prices could be a little better, but may be justified by the fresh ingredients and generous portions. I can’t speak on table service, as I ordered my meal to-go. I waited about 15 minutes, but I observed a relaxed, slow-moving vibe from everyone.

I mostly enjoyed my to-go meal. It was light and filling. The first bite of my Tunisian tuna salad was really good! The bad is the first bite is better than the following bites. The salad had fresh tuna and lettuce, and the green olives, lemon, cucumbers, and capers gave the salad a nice zest. There was an unexpected mild spice to the dressing. I was expecting more flavor and spice. When I finished, the salad left a bitter aftertaste but it was not extremely unpleasant. Overall, my experience was satisfying. The combination of ingredients was pleasing. I’d return.

Who knew such a hidden gem was hiding in the Kroger shopping center?! Yum! Ingredients are super fresh. The portions are big. I had the falafel pita and the shakshuka and both were delicious. They also sell wine and coffee. I love the fact that they have outdoor seating and a refrigerator filled with delicious premade delectables for you to purchase as well(Harissa, Israeli salads, etc). Don’t go during peak lunch hours if you are in a hurry… call in your order. Service isn’t super fast as it is a small family-run restaurant and the owner wears many hats. If you go in with this understanding, you will be rewarded with a happy belly :-)

Awesome. Just had the Shakshuka and a side of Israeli salad. The shakshuka comes with a dollop of delicious hummus on top and pita on the side. The eggs were more hard boiled than soft which would’ve been a bummer but the flavors were so delicious I didn’t even care. Highly recommend. And I love that they sell some of their dishes pre-made like a mini specialty grocer. Definitely taking home a few things.

Recently, I have been spending a lot of time in Sandy Springs and I have been to many restaurants on Roswell Road. If you’re looking for a good little lunch spot, Café Posh is the way to go. Although, if you are going to come here for lunch, make sure you have plenty of time because the service is very slow(there is usually only one person working– taking tables, to go orders, running the cashier, etc. and she works very hard but when its busy it will be a bit slower because of all that she is doing). Both times I have been here I have gotten Chicken Shawarma Pita(I want to branch out but the chicken shwarma is so good!) which is a little(and by little I mean HUGE) pocket of goodness. The pita includes al natural boneless chicken marinated in a delicious blend of spices, extra virgin olive oil and grilled on a vertical rotisserie then thinly sliced and served in pita bread with hummus, tahini, pickles, cucumber, tomatoes, Romaine lettuce and spicy harrissa and is spiced to perfection! It is a little spicy but I love spicy– Bring it on! My mom tends to get the salads which look pretty delicious as well. Next time I’m in the area and am craving delicious Middle Eastern/Mediterranean cuisine– I will definitely be stopping by here and you should be too!

Shoot me for loving something so much but the Posh Salad with Hummus and the Fancy Tuna Salad are 2 of my all-time favorites! Filled with everything good for you: almonds, olive oil, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocados(Posh Salad)…and topped off with small slices of homemade bread. I love the sandwiches as well. All homemade and fresh and healthy. The Café is small but in the warmer months, they have tables and chairs outside. A must try!

Living in the city allows you access to a Mecca of dining opportunities. But as it turns out, if you want something drenched in family tradition and freshness, it’s a smidge north. I’m not sure if Café Posh is technically SS or still ATL. It’s a bit of a trek to get there, but your taste buds will thank you. Some of the freshest food I’ve had anywhere. Traditional Israeli dishes are offered alongside paninis and chocolate chip cookies. And, everything is divine. I would have given 5 stars easily for Café Posh if the wait time was a bit better. It is family owned and operated, with one waitress. So, make sure you have time. It can get busy and things can go slow. But, you can’t rush perfection, eh?

Came for lunch with one of my good friends, who had been incessantly whispering«Café Posh» in my ear for months. I finally gave in and decided afterwards that it was my loss for not having heeded her advice earlier. It was a weekday lunch and there was only one other occupied table in the restaurant. My friend is a regular, so she knew the two women who were manning the joint and they warmly chatted with her at the start of our meal. I arrived a few minutes late(yeah, stop judging me…) but was able to get my order in quickly after perusing the menu. I landed on «Shakshuka,» which is a dish of poached eggs topped with hummus in a sea of wonderfully zesty tomato sauce, with a side of warm, soft pita bread. I was super excited about this culinary adventure, because while I had eaten all those items separately or in other combinations before, it would be my first time having them all together. Food did not take long to come out and I was in shock by what my order looked like. Surprised in the most positive way, let me clarify. I didn’t admire my plate too long and after getting my obligatory photos, I took some pita and dug in. After the first bite, I realized what it is that I love so much about Middle Eastern/Mediterranean cuisine: the freshness and simplicity of the food. Oh my goodness. This dish was perfection and it included no meat. It did not need it, as the silkiness of the hummus and poached eggs gave me all the protein I needed. The textures of the two with the tart tomato sauce made me think that I had to try making this dish myself. I later had success in doing it(though I slightly overcooked my eggs) sans hummus but I will be trying again soon. We all paid at the register and headed out single file after having a great meal. I was absolutely stuffed and was concerned when my food came out that I would be left slightly hungry after. If I recall accurately, I don’t think I could completely finish my plate. If you’ve eaten with me, you know that this means I just really could not anymore. Because I’m that girl who cleans up even the very last grain of rice on my plate. Small place with fantastically-prepared, simple food.

Great café for indoor or patio dining. The menu includes items for brunch, lunch and dinner. Perfect a cute place tucked in the neighborhood and near the grocery store. Check the daily specials board for über fresh options(soup, sandwiches, etc). After hearing raved reviews for their falafel I gave it try. So good and tasting. I had the sandwich(pita packed with fresh ingredients(salads, sauce, falafel, etc) version. On a recent visit, I had the spicy Tunisian panini — fresh baked cibotta bread(grilled/pressed) with their yummy tuna salad that includes preserved lemons, parsely, capers — hmmm). Nom. Nom. Friends raved about the Posh salad, soups and other options. They offer table service for ordering and are relaxed about chasing you out at the end of the meal so just saunter up the counter when you are ready to leave. Great place to meet friends.
