Tcby Yogurt

You know what sucks? Getting your hopes up for some ice cream and then going to this place. I don’t even know where to begin. This is the worst TCBY I have ever visited. Whomever franchised this location is actively embarrassing the chain.
Let’s start with the location. They can’t be bothered to turn on the lights to the sign, so it’s hard to find. It’s tucked in the corner of a shopping center. With no signage, you could easily just drive by. Next, the staff is disinterested. Most workers at TCBYs are friendly. Not at this place. You’re lucky to receive an acknowledgement, much less a smile.
Last but not least, the prices at this location are a farce. I can buy a meal for less than the cost of the smallest treats. I was so insulted by the lack of selection and poor attitude that I took my $ 6 to the Kroger in the same complex and just bought a box of frozen fruit pops.
I’m fine paying for a premium product, but this place is the equivalent of walking into McDonalds and being asked to pay $ 12 for a gourmet burger that is really the same stuff they throw into a Happy Meal. Avoid this dump.

Golly Jee Willikers, this place is SO expensive. I consider myself a true TCBY fan. It has been my dessert spot of choice since 1989… and I’m sad that I haven’t found a good TCBY in Atlanta yet. My favorite things about TCBY usually are the wide variety of froyo flavors and many size options.
THIS location doesn’t have anything smaller than small. And their small sizes are more expensive than the large sizes at other locations. I don’t know what is going on. The smallest size shiver is $ 5.59 before taxes… who would pay that?
Bottom line… these prices are not competitive and the flavor selection is severely lacking. I would recommend that the owner get some smaller sizes and more affordable options. Also, consider lighting up the TCBY sign because it is hard to spot in the center without the light on. And get more flavors! Most locations I have been to have had at least ten, and they rotate different flavors that are appropriate to each season.

There’s nobody here whenever I go in, so I’m almost instantly tripping on the Psychedelic Sorbet with a generous sprinkle of coconut and blueberries. They have soft serve in a few flavors, a pretty big selection of ice cream/​sorbet and sugary toppings. Their smoothies taste pretty good and fresh. Wish they had a drive-​through, so I don’t have to step out and question myself for getting TCBY in a 20-​degree weather.

Even with all the yogurt places around I still like TCBY the best. The lady that works at this location on weekdays is always very pleasant and appreciates the customers. Will keep coming back.

I love old school yogurt places like this. The only drawback is that sometimes they get pretty busy.

This is my usual cold treat stop because it’s close to where I live and has more a variety than other froyo places. Overall it’s average, but the location and how much more you get here compared to some of the other local places trumps its mediocrity. The people that work here are always nice and it’s always the same people working I think. They get new flavors every so often (maybe every week?), but the machine sometimes has problems. Best local bang for the buck in my opinion.

Stopped by here after a doc’s appointment.
I was greeted upon entry by an interesting-​looking character. =) Ohmygoodness, he definitely gave my mom and I something to laugh at, for sure. The place has a weird, moldy smell or something that I can’t make out, but doesn’t smell like a nice, clean yogurt/​ice cream shop.
I got the small cup of chocolate frozen yogurt. Absolutely delicious. very creamy, chocolatey, and sweet! I asked for him to add Oreos and took it to go.
The Oreos were STALE. Turned me off a bit, but I’m pretty sure all the birds in the parking lot were grateful.
Mostly likely will return, give ‘em another try. =)
