I’ll admit I kind of forgot about this place for a couple of months despite the fact I am constantly driving by it. I decided to go back today. It’s basic, and sometimes that’s all you want. It’s a nice change every once in a while from places where I end up with some crazy caramel strawberry chocolate covered cookies and cream yogurt concoction. They have the best looking fruit I’ve seen for a self serve place. Granted, it’s super limited, like there were no raspberries, but the blueberries I had on my yogurt were big and juicy and delicious. The mango cubes were super sweet and went so well with the plain tart froyo. I’m just mad every time I come in, horchata is not in a machine. This is not the place to find 12 flavors with a lot in the cake and cookie flavor range. If having four dozen toppings to choose from and all those flavors is your thing, then head elsewhere. except obviously not to Pinkberry, since you’ll still only get 6 flavors to choose from… womp womp.

Love this place, Ive finally found frozen yogurt that I actually like! My first experience was yofuria at brookhaven then jujubees so i thought that it all tasted this bad! i love the fact that this place keeps it simple! Im not one of those who likes 30 flavors to mix and match, then dump another 20 topping on, thats what menchies is for down the street. This place is nice, 6 flavors, with enough topping choices for the whole family. i like the tart with some fresh fruit and thats it, if the yuzu is on i get that with fruit. We like the chef crafted flavours and the fact its a locally owned company, not a chain and i would rather support there guys anyday! My daughter loves the chocolate and has also declared it better then jujubees down the street. I wish they had more outside seating but theres not the room, but thats their only fault. Way way cheaper than menchies — for 3 of us there it was over $ 11, here it was $ 6. We’ve already gone through 3 punchcards and im sure many more!

Now this is no Pinkberry or anything… I am ‘iffy’ on my experience here… they appeal to all types of individuals w sugar free/low-fat/regular flavors of yogurt but don’t think you are coming in to have 25 flavors to choose from — there are 6(minus 1 star). They charge $ 0.49/per oz so don’t get too carried away with the portions or toppings, otherwise you will be forced to pay a ridiculous price for, well let’s just put it softly(no pun intended), yogurt. There is no real relaxing place to sit outside; in fact there is a bench to watch the beautiful scenery of all the loud traffic that drives by(minus 1 star). I just don’t have anything really exciting to say about this place… it’s as basic as it comes — 3 soft serve machines(6 flavors in total), a few toppings to choose from, and a few tables to sit at. I must admit it’s a crappy business model and I can’t imagine how they stay in business. My thought – get more flavors, spruce up the inside to make the experience more fun and customer friendly and get a few tables for the patrons to enjoy their yogurt outside. Thanks but no thanks, I won’t be back.

Sad to say that this is the worst frogurt experience that I’ve had in Atlanta. I like the idea that it’s a local chef who’s making the recipes, that’s is the family that owns local chains Fellini’s and La Fonda, and I like the friendly employees. But the frogurt was not good. There were only 6 flavors: chocolate, vanilla(sugar free), vietnamese coffee, tart, spiced banana, and yuzu. I wanted to like them, since these aren’t flavors that you see at every other frogurt chain. But I would have to say chocolate was the best because it tasted like soft serve ice cream, and I’m not the kind that likes sweet ice-cream flavored frogurt. The other yogurts weren’t cold/solid enough. They seemed like either they hadn’t ever really frozen or had thawed while sitting there. They seemed almost lumpy, except for the chocolate. The vietnamese coffee was quite tangy in an unbalanced way, the yuzu was very citrusy and slightly bitter, the spiced banana was just plain odd. I guess I should have started with the tart because by the time I tried it(after the yuzu, spiced banana, and vietnamese coffee), it didn’t taste like anything. It didn’t have any of the delicious tang that I’ve come to expect from«tart» frogurt. I didn’t try the sugar-free vanilla. Based on the others, I wasn’t expecting much. I decided to get mostly chocolate, which disappointed me because I usually load up on tart flavors and fruit. I added a bit of the vietnamese coffee, since there was something about the spice of it that I really wanted to like. They also have limited toppings, with many of them being candy. I piled pecans and strawberries onto my concoction. Those two items alone earned this place an extra star since I haven’t seen pecans at many places and the strawberries were nice and fresh. The price is right at $.39/oz. I can’t imagine paying more for this stuff. As we left, the employees were taking samples over to the patrons on the patio at Fellini’s. That’s about the only way I’d eat this frogurt again. #Yelp365 — 99⁄365

It’s my second choice when I want a yogurt. They have a good variety of flavors, but sometimes they taste funny/spoiled. The best flavor I’ve had there is the horachta. They’re very skimpy on the sample cups and kind of make you feel guilty if you want to sample more than one.

Excellent yogurt! I had the nonfat pomegranate, topped with super fresh strawberries and kiwi. I also sampled the pistachio while i was there and it was amazing as well. I had a hard time choosing between the two, and ultimately, I decided to go with the pomegranate because I thought it would go better with the fresh fruit i had already eyed at the topping bar. I loved the tang of the yogurt here. Too often, frozen yogurt is so heavily flavored and sugared-up that you can’t even tell that it came from actual yogurt; fortunately, that is not the case at Three on the Tree. This location is pretty close to where i work and I will definitely be coming back here for some lunchtime treats this spring and summer.

I work within walking distance of Three on the Tree. As you can imagine, this is both a blessing and a curse. Having already gone through once punch card, I can tell you without hesitation that the coconut crème pie flavor is the best. The scuppernog is also delicious. It’s nice to have a neighborhood yogurt shop with unique and wonderful flavors outside of what you might get at another chain yogurt shop. Because the flavors are always rotating, there is reason to visit often.

They had the yuzu citrus yesterday. Had just the taste of yuzu and was light and a bit icier this time but still a favorite. Next to it was the Peppermint Chocolate. The taste to me was a bit strange, in that it was tart. Reminded me of the time Pinkberry decided to do a pumpkin tart flavor… which was not good at all, half the flavor resembling a vitamin C tablet. So I’m definitely not a fan of the idea of chocolate and tart flavor — which I was told came from the peppermint? Most of the yogurt was kind of icy this time around. But, it’s still the only place where I can get yogurt with pretzel for that sweet and salty combo.

I went to Three on the Tree for the first time today. The décor is very plain and ordinary. It’s not as funky and mod-chic as the typical frozen yogurt establishment, so it kind of took me aback. There were six flavors: Original Tart, Pomegranate, Vanilla, Chocolate, Spiced Banana, and Muscadine. It’s self serve, which is my favorite type of yogurt establishment because I like to determine how much money I will be spending. Flavor Review: — The original tart wasn’t high on tart flavor, and was the basic plain yogurt. — Pomegranate had a distinct flavor, and I could definately taste the fruit flavour. Not too sweet, but I would get it again. — Spiced Banana was delicious. It had a strong banana flavor with traces of nutmeg. Another plus to this flavor is that it is distinctive to this establishment. — Muscadine was interesting. It was the most tart out of the flavours, and had a very light grape flavor. I ended up getting a quad of the pomegranate, tart, spiced banana, and muscadine. I like keeping my yogurt plain, so I just threw in some toffee chocolate covered pretzels to nibble on separately, and then decorated the spiced banana with pecans and honey which is TODIEFOR and paid 39 cents an oz. Would definately recommend this frozen yogurt place for it’s innovative flavors that are not available anywhere else. The spiced banana just on its own is worth the visit. QUICKRUNDOWN: Cons: Plain décor Pros: Innovative flavors, fresh tasting frozen yogurt, cheap

There’s a new self-serve frozen yogurt place in town! It’s next door to Fellini’s and La Fonda, and surprise surprise, it’s owned by the same people. The employees are friendly, and the place has a clean, simple feel even though it’s in an old building. They had a handful of flavors– chocolate, vanilla, tart, pomegranate, yuzu, and scuppernong. I had never heard of scuppernong, but the girl told me that it’s just another name for a muscadine grape. I had the yuzu and pomegranate, with fruit and other random toppings– white chocolate chips, graham crackers, etc. The yuzu was a refreshing lemon & tart-tasting flavor, and the pomegranate was sweet & tangy. It was just shy of $ 4.00 for what I would call a medium-sized cup. Not bad at all– the best part is that you have control over what you get and ultimately, what it will cost you!

I’ve seen this place on Roswell RD near Wieuca RD, practically right next to Fellini’s. Parking was so plentiful we got the«vip» spot near the door. The over all feel was something of a smaller froyo place, but not quite the hole in the wall feel. Service was great. We were promptly greeted as we walked in and were offered small sample cups to try some different flavors out. The setup was simple. Grab a cup, put in as much yogurt to your liking, then add in any toppings you want. Very similar to yogli-mogli or yogurtland. The cups are all compostable ect., so it’s environmentally friendly if it interests you. The cost depends on the weight of your cup. They also have a «Free on the Tree» card like TCBY where after you get enough stamps, you get a free one. I’m not sure if they rotate out flavors, so your choices may vary. At the time I went today, they had something ginger, yuzu citrus, pomegranate, tart, vanilla and chocolate. The machines looked like they had a middle option between two flavors which would mix the two together. They have a covered bar which you can add in toppings from fruit to candy. I tried the pomegranate with a touch of yuzu. The pomegranate tasted just like pomegranate except not as tart, but smoother. The yuzu was a little tart, but it was still good. The fruit I added in mine tasted very fresh and crisp. Not soggy like it has been sitting there forever. The yogurt was smooth, creamy and fruity. Overall, I really liked it and I will be back again. Especially since the location is really convenient.
