Best tapas restaurant in town! I remember my first visit to Tutu Tango. I was a little blossoming foodie with no idea what tapas was. My then boyfriend ordered for us and his choices were fantastic but I remember thinking to myself«where’s the rest of our food??» The place is loud, colorful and unique. Everything you’d imagine a Buckhead place to be.

At one point this was my favorite tapas restaurant. That was before the whole city went tapas and my stomach went all sensitive to the fried small plates I loved here so much. The atmosphere and the art made this place fun. You could get your fortune told by the Tarot lady or watch a belly dancer weave here way in between the tables. They used to let people use the upstairs portion for events and happy hours. I’m not sure if that is still an option these days.

Wonderful place to get your friends together to eat tapas and enjoy artists painting upstairs and at times, they even have a dance show…

It’s been a while since I’ve been in a restaurant where the décor was more memorable than the food, but Tu Tu Tango is one of these restaurants. The(mostly local) artwork is on the walls, on the tables, on the floor, on the bar… everywhere. And it’s all great. We all actually got up from our table at various points during dinner and strolled around like it was a museum or gallery. That said, the food was only OK. Like Jonathan S. says in his review, the tapas don’t stand out at all. And another big gripe is that the sangria is served in a bottle, not in the huge pitcher that lushes who order sangria have come to expect… ;) Overall, a decent option if you are looking to eat in Buckhead, but seems like it would be best saved for after dinner drinks.

Tapas for the American consumer! Yay! This Orlando export has been holding on to its Buckhead home for many years now. Back in the day, it was commonplace to wait over an hour for a table. It also seemed that everyone and their Mother hosted their birthday and or office outing at this place. The space itself is pretty cool, trying to emulate an artist’s studio. They used to employ fire blowers until the fire Marshall stepped in and said no. Local artists take up residence and paint on the premises. The food is okay at best, consisting of glorified appetizers from any given chain restaurant in town. Even so, it is fun to have a snack and drink some sangria and gaze at all the crap(err I mean art) on the walls.

Another one of my favorite places. It is tapas, so its a great place for a group of about 3. They have lots of things going on here. You can see belly dancers, or artists painting. Its got a great vibe.

The tapas are great, the artwork and live artists are even better. Great place to bring out of town guests for the first time, as it just has a good vibe and good food.
