The food is Captain D’s which I love, but the service is terrible. I placed four to go orders and people who ordered after me were being served while I still waited. Why was my order so much less important? I was order #50 and numbers in the high 50’s were being served while I stood there. Argh!

Believe it or not, I was excited to see a Captain D’s. I haven’t had it in a long time. As a matter of fact I’m not sure if there are any left in Texas… but, I really enjoyed the food. Nothing to shout about but it was pretty good. The lady at the counter was the highlight of th whole restaurant. She’s nice, funny, and beautiful… not to mention she knows her menu.lol. I would definitely go back.

Went for lunch at Captian D’s, on Main St., I think this is East Point, but it’s just North of College Park. This restaurant is fairly empty, even at lunch, about ¼ full. I tried a Lobster, Shrimp & Crab meal, with side salad and cole slaw. This meal is a lot of food, I guess most of it fried. I thought the fried shrimp were great and the stuffed crab was nice. The lobster bites — they kinda were like fried scallops, were OK, but not my favorite. Salad and cole slaw was kinda my attempt to be sorta healthy, were fresh and tasked good. A very good price for a lot of food at lunch.
