I used to order from C&C years ago every once in awhile, not great but it did the trick when you wanted some cheap delivery food as I pretty much only get delivery when I am sick or the weather is brutal. I decided to give them another chance a couple of days ago as it had been so long. Wow, probably the worst meal I have ever eaten. One, the food was delivered cold. I mean cold, not just not hot, not just not warm, the food was stone cold. Two, the quality was just plain awful. I can eat anything, I love good quality food while also having some pretty low standards that enables me to eat almost anything when hungry. I pretty much always eat what is in front of me and I came close to tossing this food. I was starving, I ate it, but then thought, you are an idiot, you are not poor, you do not have to eat food that bad. I will never, ever eat Chico & Chang again(and that is what she said).

Great delivery service and the food Is hot and as authentic as you can ask for from a delivery service. No watered down stuff like the other places.

Food $ 8 for chicken quesadilla. Delivered at 200am. The portion is pretty big and I was pleasantly surprised. The sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce was placed in little small containers on the side and looked neatly tucked. Then I took a bite. I immediately regretted it. Oil started dripping everywhere. You could drown a baby in the grease left over in the takeout box. The cheese had a neon fake glow and tasted artificial. I opened it to take a look and almost gagged. It looked like it was going to swallow my soul. The quesadilla looked crunchy but flopped over the moment I picked it up. Maybe their Asian items are better. Despite this I still ate it. I cried my self to sleep afterwards. Décor N/A. Ordered delivery. Service N/A. Ordered delivery. Would I come here again? Nah. This is one of the few places that will delivery late at night… but I can’t do it.

Let’s just say quantity doesn’t always mean quality. I ordered via grubhub. –2 miso soups –ginger salad –panang Chicken –Mongolian beef (2) fried rice review– wow! Big portions for the miso soup, one portion filled up a big mug bowl. I will give credit on big pieces of tofu, not very silky. And some seaweed. TIP– I would rather have a smaller portion of rich flavorful miso. Ginger salad– huge portion. A lot of iceberg lettuce. Way too much. Good but a lot of lettuce TIP– smaller portion, mix in mixed greens with the iceberg, smaller portion Mongolian beef– typical, good. Panang Chicken– flavor is there but the authentic Indian panang taste is overwhelmed by heat. The chicken is very small in the entrée and the onions and peppers overwhelm the dish. Where’s the chicken? TIP: flavor needs to bring in more curry, more panang taste. Cut back on the chili heat. Bigger pieces of chicken Overall– I’m liking your stuff. Just remember that quantity doesn’t always mean better quality. Remember food costs!

Chico and Changs Unilocal review… The next afternoon I regretfully decided to drive 3 hours north. But along this peaceful and scenic drive I felt the rumblings of what seemed to be a knife fight between Chico and Chang deep inside my bowels. The gas coming from my backside was rapid and full of hot vengeance from my delicious dinner. The only move was to change 3 lanes quickly to get to the nearest truck stop, because I knew Chico and Chang wait for no man. In a sprint to the stall that would make usain bolt proud I ferociously pulled down my drawers and laid my bare ass cheeks upon the porcelain. Immediately I felt the jalapeño poppers fiercely leaving my body. With fires that are comparable to napalm. The hair around my Anus let out an aroma as they had been singed by the fiery expulsion from my bowels. I clenched the walls tightly but alas to no help I let out a single tear. This tear was of joy that my experience with Chico and Changs was over. I give them a rating of stars.

Everything was soggy. Soggy wet onion rings, soggy fries, soggy limp chicken fingers. Soggy and room temp fried wontons. So disappointed.

Don’t order here. Food is practically inedible. Delivery also took longer than expected but that could have been a GrubHub issue. Crab Rangoon were overlooked. Fried rice was bland. Hot & sour soup was neither hot nor sour. Garlic chicken had a funky smell and was mostly onions. I can only speak for the Chinese. Hopefully their Mexican is better.

So here’s the thing: Atlanta is lacking in really good Chinese food let alone a Chinatown(what is wrong with this place?). Chico and Chang is the combination of two worlds colliding that really have no business doing so. However, when it’s past midnight the choices are limited in the city… Waffle House can only do so much. Surprisingly enough, the food is decent, the prices are reasonable(just under $ 10 for a one entrée meal combination that comes with fried rice and soup) and the portions are pretty generous. The fact that it took me about 10 minutes or more to get my food somewhat reassured me that at least what was being prepared was going to be(hopefully) fresh versus repurposed. I found the Mongolian beef to be tender and flavorful and the rest of the meal lacking in any bad surprises. I’m giving them a four star rating as I need to sample with they are calling Mexican food. If my meal tonight is a precursor of it, I doubt I have anything to worry about. I guess we shouldn’t always judge a book by its cover, or in this case by it’s cross-cultural name.

The general tso’s chicken is the best. Highly recommended! Especially when you want some Chinese(or Mexican) super late. Definitely my go to late night spot.

I absolutely love this place. I love the name, the service, the fact that it’s open when I need it most(230am), and on top of that the General Tso’s is delicios. So is the Szechuan Beef. The crab ragoon is decent I’ve had better and worse but it’s cheap so I’m cool with that. I’ve not had the mexican side but as for Chang… You are a master of your craft if your craft is inexpensive americanized chinese food!

I have ordered several things off the menu and most of it was less than ehhh but the hamburgers and fries are terrific! The flan is quite good as well. You have to love them for the late night delivery as I don’t know anyone who delivers until 3 a.m. The hamburger and fries are 3 stars and add another for late night delivery.

The food was fresh and delicious, even at 2 in the morning. The delivery was quick and the order was correct. This place is on fleek!

Surprisingly delicious Chinese delivery! We ordered this to our hotel room at 2am. The order came in a timely manner and was piping hot. We ordered Sweet and Sour Shrimp and the Buddha’s Delight. The shrimp were huge and tasted fresh. The Buddha’s Delight was full of fresh vegetables. We were pleased with this late night choice!

The guy working the drive thru was super nice. The basil fried rice was awesomeness. Lots of basil and peppers. We also got some shrimp and cashews. It wasn’t bad, but I’d get something different next time. Steamed dumplings were typical Americanized Chinese dumplings with a vinegar/soy dipping sauce. It warmed my slightly drunk heart. We’ll order again.

The Chico of this restaurant is not great. The beef for the Tacos smelled spoiled. I turned me off & the meat was not cooked properly. The only decent thing I was able to digest was the egg drop soup which was not a meal to mess up.

Food is always good. It’s just a little sketch. If you can get past that, it’s worth the trip.

So I can’t give this restaurant any stars due to the fact that I found a bug in my food. I’m forced to give the one star. My issue is the fact that when we called to resolve the issue and at least get my money back, we were told that the manager was not in. I ordered shrimp fried rice Ina group order with some coworkers in the middle of the night, so by the time I saw the bug, the restaurant was closed. We called the next day and got the run around. Before I found the bug, I must say the rice was pretty tasty. That being said, I prefer my food without the extra protein. I usually order from another restaurant for my rice, and I will stick to that choice from now on!

A kind Chinese family runs this amazingly unique neighborhood gem, and I’ve never been disappointed with the flavor, freshness and overall deliciousness of their food. It’s not fancy at all, but the food tastes like it was prepared in a palace kitchen… best hot and Sour soup in Atlanta and I haven’t found better beef and broccoli or shrimp in lobster sauce anywhere… and I’ve been looking hard. Open from 3 pm to 3 am, this place has bailed me out of severe hunger many times for around $ 10. I’ve heard the Mexican and American food is great as well, but their Chinese food can stand up to all local competition and probably beat it in a blind tasting.

I was pretty hesitant about the Mexican/Chinese combo take-out, but it’s actually pretty good! I’ve gotten the sesame chicken(which I’ll have a pic of), queso and chips, crabmeat rangoons, egg drop soup, and sweet and sour shrimp. The sesame chicken was a little on the sweet side, but it was pretty tasty overall. It was super crunchy and hot and spicy. The sweet and sour shrimp was very delicious! It wasn’t too greasy, the shrimp were large, and it was crispy on the outside, but still soft and tender on the inside; much better than any of the other take-outs in the area. Delivery has been quick, maybe within 45 mins or less each time I’ve ordered. If you want super late night delivery, this place has been consistently good each time. EDIT: Just wanted to add that the food comes in these segmented take-out boxes… like a bento box! It’s great for people like me who don’t like their foods to touch :)

I think Chico & Chang’s is crazy cool, and I don’t care who knows it! Fast, open late, delivery, crazy-awesome hodge-podge of Americanized fare. What’s not to love? It ain’t gourmet, but you aren’t paying gourmet prices either. Their queso is fabulous(melty goodness with a little spicy kick) and reheats well. I tend to order a bunch of apps, and I always mix the Mexican and Chinese dishes… because I CAN! As with every cheap Chinese place I have ever known, some dishes are much better than others. Try a few and find your favorites! Pro Tip: Use GrubHub to order from them. It’s a free service, you can do so online or using their app, and then you don’t have to bother with an annoying phone call to a very busy employee you may have a hard time understanding. Your order is more likely to be right(they get a printout) and you can pay(and even tip if you want) using a credit card — or with cash, whatever you want.
