I will begin with the customer service which I appreciated. They were courteous and the delivery person did apologize for driving to the wrong location. With that, the food smelled good but maybe I just did not order the right late night meal. I ordered the Salt & Pepper shrimp Spicy. It was heavily breaded and and lacked any flavor on such a thick oily breading. The pot stickers — fried became a little monotonous and I could only get through three of the six. My food was on the mediocre side for temperature. I literally had to drench my shrimp with soy sauce and take the breading off the shrimp only to remain sad and thoughts of not satisfying my hunger resonated over and over again in my head. I only ate about half the meal! The online order site needs to be updated as there are no descriptions or pictures of food items so I simply went by what I felt would be a wise choice for a meal. I ended up calling in my order to understand that some of the options no longer exist and they do not accept certain Card Tenders for payment. No time estimate was given for my delivery.

My second order via Unilocal Eat24. I have a decent number of places to choose from in my neighborhood but timing was weird for some, being NYD. I went with Lucky China and, while not offensively bad, I am rounding down to 2* rather than giving the round-up-benefit-of-the-doubt thing I usually do. Bland(not even salty!) wonton soup. Blegh. OK potstickers — I had one per usual and froze the rest so I can have as an app when something quick is needed, a little trick of mine; I imagine they will be fine. The Mongolian Beef was oddly different — sometimes this dish has too much onion/green onion/or mushrooms(Chin Chin does that)/or…but Lucky’s had sliced, barely cooked white onions. A lot of them. This wasn’t exactly bad, but it did make me feel like I needed to take them out and actually cook them — kinda defeating the point of getting food that was cooked for you. And the beef part was definitely skimpy, and again, the flavor profile was bland. Good rice. Then again — it’s steamed white rice — which should be a fait accompli in a Chinese delivery order. I ate some of the meat and rice, and ended up re-working the leftovers into a dish with some of my own sauteed spinach, garlic powder, … best part of the«meal!» Tried and done– on to my next local Chinese spot!

I’ve only done the delivery from here but can honestly say I’ve never had faster delivery! It’s so great and can order until late! The food is great and quenches my Chinese fast-food cravings every time. The delivery men have been wonderful, very friendly and kind!

If you want good Chinese food I suggest you don’t order from here. The people on the phone were rude and got angry because I was looking over the menu when I was on the phone. Also they gave me no time estimate so I had no idea when my food is coming. When they got here the driver called when he was ten minutes away saying that he was here and got mad because I went back to my room to wait on him. When I finally got down there he was rude and rushing me and snatched the receipt out of my hand and basically tossed my food to me from the driver side of his car. Also I gave him a $ 1 tip because of their overall service and I ended up getting a text message from the driver after he left saying«This is not funny! Thanks». They should not be allowed to do that. By the time I got my food and ate it, it was cold because they took so long. I had orange chicken with fried rice and fried dumplings and it was disgusting. I wasted $ 20 horrible food. So I suggest you don’t order from there unless you like terrible service and food.

Some of the best Chinese is the city! Delivery was prompt. The chicken and rice noodle was prefect and I look forward to having it again soon.

For Chinese take-out, this place is decent. I have tried three different things here and haven’t been impressed with any of them. The sizes were a little small compared to other takeout places I’ve been to, and I found a couple weird things in my food that I just pretended was chicken because I was super hungry. If you are super hungry and I’m the area this place will work, if you want good takeout, go somewhere else.

Good place to go when you want something on major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Very sketchy area and I’d only go during the day. Oddball hours. Food is just okay.

Maybe I’ll give Lucky China another try, but after ordering crispy sesame tofu, Mongolian shrimp and lo mein last night, I was very disappointed. I’ve ordered four or five times from this restaurant in the past, so I was surprised that the food was so crappy last night. I never ear the rice from this place, because my boyfriend and I nearly choked to death the last time we reheated leftovers. That could not have been a coincidence. My boyfriend had to do the Heimlich on me to get the rice out of my throat. He coughed up rice for about an hour and then had pain in his throat afterward. We’ve always ordered home style bean curd and shrimp with lobster sauce in the past and we were always enjoyed our food. I couldn’t even eat the food last night. The tofu was so overcooked that it was nearly impossible to eat and the sauce was disgustingly thick and sweet. There were a couple of pieces of broccoli in the tofu. I literally gagged when I tasted it. I didn’t know that it was possible to completely ruin broccoli. There was a very sharp sweet and sour taste to it. I noticed that it was almost yellow, so it must have been soaked in lemon and then drowned in the horrible sweet sauce. The lo mein had no flavor at all. I managed to choke down some of the Mongolian shrimp, but the shrimp were way overcooked and the sauce was also too sweet. I’m giving one star to the delivery guy. He was very nice.

Late night delivery in Atlanta is hit or miss, granted. We’re still not a 24 hour city in a true sense. But there is no excuse for disrespect and rudeness. After several dozen deliveries to my job at a 24 hour building on the campus of Tech, the delivery person decides to drive to a different location to drop our food. Not to mention hundred of orders we witness students pickup each month. There should be no confusion as to where deliveries are made. No worries. My co-worker still agrees to go meet the driver at a completely different building, in the dark, in downtown Atlanta to retrieve our order. After 15 minutes of walking campus and cellphone calling, trying to locate the driver, the driver ends the situation with: «F@ck you. You pickup order in morning.» I think that says it all.

So, on the scale of cheap American Chinese take-out joints, this place is pretty darn good. I tend to stop by here on the way home from work. I can’t be positive, but I think the guy that answers the phone and takes care of all of the orders might be the owner – he is always here and I don’t know why I have never asked. I listen to him take the calls. He is always courteous and manages to say thank you even when it is obvious the person calling just has annoying and ridiculous questions. He always smiles and jokes a little when I come in. He loves that I don’t want the crunchies for my egg drop soup – «Chinese don’t use crunchies either,» he says ;-). It is located at North and Boulevard in a somewhat sketchy shopping center but there is plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant. Don’t plan on eating here but if you really insist, there are 3 tables in there. Of course, delivery is also an option. They are open until 3AM! On to the food… they have lots of combination dinners that come with white or fried rice plus either an egg roll or crab rangoon. One of the ways I judge how good Chinese take-out is the egg drop soup and the fried rice. The egg drop soup is excellent – very eggy with a flavorful broth. They don’t try to sneak any random peas or veggies in there – I never understand why some places sell egg drop with 3 peas in it – what is the point? The fried rice that comes with the combos has no meat in it and it is just ok. The pork and house fried rices are about $ 8 – 9 and although they are decent, I still wish they had more taste and more meat for the price. I tend to order the Salt & Pepper Shrimp but I ask for extra spicy. These are tempurafied shrimp and even taste good cold the next day. They also specialize in wings(bone-in or boneless), subs, fried shrimp, and philly cheesesteaks. The wings are served in a variety of styles… hot, honey BBQ, Mandarin, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, and Honey Hot – I think I recall seeing some other sauces on the in-store menu that aren’t posted on the take-out menu. It took me about 6 months when I moved here to find fast food Chinese that I really liked enough to label as mine, but this is it. Check it out. Oh, and oddly enough, they are not open for lunch – they open at 3PM.

This place is great! I did get one of the«favorites» on the menu, Sesame Chicken, but everything was really good– the chicken, sticky rice, and crab rangoons. Delivery was quick, and food was still hot!

Food was alright. Delivery guy was extremely rude. Asked for a tip on the phone before he even got here. And once he saw me he asked for a tip without handing over the food. Food was paid for online so he was just hungry for tip! Probably never buying again

I just ordered here for the first time, and I won’t be ordering again. The sweet and sour shrimp were WAY overcooked and greasy. I’ll be attaching a picture of this. The fried calamari had a very odd texture; the batter was cooked just fine, but it disintegrated in your mouth without having to chew. I ended up throwing everything away. The only credits I can give this place is the delivery was quick and the driver was pleasant.

Decent Chinese food. Very fast service. More catered to the to go market which is fine. There’s no seating so don’t expect a sit down meal. If you’re craving Chinese food fast and want something decent, it’s the place to go. Probably better to order to go though.

super fast delivery and good food. I love Chinese food for the carb load, so we always end up with their chicken lo mein, chicken fried rice, general tso’s, steamed dumplings and the egg rolls. They’re super tasty. Also, it’s really nice that you can order straight from Unilocal for delivery. Definitely try this place if you’re looking for some ‘fast-food’ Chinese.
