Worst chipotle ever. I ordered a salad, and it took them 20 minutes to make from when they put the lettuce in the bowl until I checked out. And then they didn’t give me any dressing…

Worst Chipotle I have ever been to. You know what doesn’t fix the slow service and below par food? A free drink. No, I don’t want your free drink. I will still leave very unsatisfied. I’m honestly still asking myself why I still choose to go to this location. I have had several instances where I make an online order. This is usually for work and varies between 6 – 15 orders. The more I have to order, the longer of an advance I give. For example, if I’m making an order of 3 burritos — I might choose the first available time. If I order 15 burritos– I would give around 45 minutes from the time ordered. Yet, it never fails, that my order is NOT ready when I arrive. Sometimes– they haven’t even started! They«claim» to have not received it or it was overlooked. I wont even pretend like I understand how that happens. 9 times out of 10 — there is a specific person making to-go orders. Why? I can remember two specific times I had to wait an additional 45MINUTES once arriving to the location. But don’t worry… I was offered a free drink. The second time it happened, I spoke up and received a few free meal coupons. When I’m not eating here for work, I still leave disappointed. Either slow service, bad food quality, or a casual black hair in my food. I try and try again to like this Chipotle. But it never fails they disappoint. They need to approve on their promptness, customer service, and quality of food.

I like Chipotle. This is another Chipotle that tastes like any other Chipotle. They have good food. It’s one of my favorite burrito chains. So this location has been blasted because of the service. I never thought a Chipotle would have a 2 star rating. I thought the service was fine. They were very polite. I didn’t come in during rush hour though. But they did seem more lackadaisical compared to the other Chipotles. I dunno, I did like the relaxed atmosphere compared to the other Chipotles. The other Chipotles makes you nervous because they want to hurry you along. But this one is a bit less stressful. They stuff the heck out of the burritos. They were friendly, and the food tasted like any other Chipotle.

I absolutely loooove Chipotle but this location is the worst I’ve ever been to. The service was poor and the rice was hard and the food tasted like it was prepared with the same hate it seems all the employees have for their job. I will find another one next time, this location SUCKS

Worst experience yet. They don’t have half the food on the menu. Sevice is terribly slow. I’m never going back. It’s not worth the time

This did not save initial review! This is the worse Chipotle in Atlanta! I refuse to step foot in this location ever again. They even skimp on the rice and beans! When you call them on it, they get an attitude and treat you like you do not matter… Next time you feel like you aren’t getting your dollars worth, walk out and leave the food with them!

I mean, they are true fast-food workers here. No Chic-Fil-a level of customer service. So I ignore the kids behind the counter and just make sure my bowl is made right. Been maybe 3 or 4 times and all have been good besides one where the pico de gallo was watery. I never sit inside so don’t care much for the cleanliness of the interior… But one can only imagine what the back looks like where they chop the veggies and make the sauces… :/. Haven’t died or caught staph yet tho.

Manager was a very nice guy when I had questions about the menu, and the portion size is great. I red bad reviews about this chipotle about some girl manager being rude but the manager I saw was some guy and he was extremely helpful and nice.

Probably the most inefficient Chipotle I’ve ever been to. They’re always out of one food item or another… One day they didn’t have a Sharpie to mark who’s burritos are who’s. I really like the company as a whole but this one particular location is sub par. The only reason I continue to go back is because it’s just down the street from my house.

Very displeased with this location today! I bought a burrito bowl and a side of chips and guacamole. Clearly someone didn’t want to come to work today and blend the guacamole correctly because I had two big HARD chunks of Avocado and lettuce in my bowl and my side of guac. YUCK! Im working a 12 hour shift and the one time I get a break, and decide to spend my money with you all… I get this. Very displeased Howell Mill Chipotle! (Refer to picture for the disgusting proof!)

2 stars mainly for the service not the food. I went to Chipotle today for a Veggie Burrito for dinner. Since the burritos are so huge and I can never finish one in one sitting I had planned to have them make my burrito and cut it in half so I can eat ½ now and ½ later. Simple request, right? No. As I’m going down the assembly line I was stopped and had to wait 5 mins because they ran out of Fajitas(my favorite item at Chipotle) and had to cook more. Once I finally got them, the server skimped on the Fajitas even when I told her that I was only getting veggies! So I had to ask for extra twice before she put an actual portion size on my Veggie Burrito. As I’m moving down the line she skimps again on the corn. I mean come on people! VEGGIE burrito. Finally I asked for guacamole(which comes complimentary for Veggie meals) on the side which she forgot to give me until I asked again at the register. Lastly, I asked if she could cut my burrito in half and she said they’re «not allowed» to. At this point I’m beyond ready to get out of this«restaurant,» all of this for a Veggie burrito? Anyways my total came up to $ 7 but it was really good, which is the only reason why this review gets 2 stars instead of 1.

There is nothing that particularly stands out about this chipotle location. The food itself is pretty on par with the others I’ve been. The only distinguishable feature is the service or lack there of. Not really friendly or quick for that matter.

(TL;DR version = They consistently give me less guac than other locations) I can’t give 1 star because I love Chipotle’s food – but thats the extent to which I’ll give this franchised location credit. To start, I just want to say that I’m disappointed that this is the closest Chipotle in the area. West midtown and Howell Mill is hip and full of exactly the type of crowd that would go for Chipotle and the kind of stuff their brand stands for. I THINK anyway… maybe I’m wrong. This is the worst location I’ve been to, and this is coming from a guy who once ate 20+ chipotle meals in under 20 days(don’t ask). It’s very small for a Chipotle and I’ve literally never been there and found a table that I didn’t have to clean myself. They have consistently made the worst burritos I’ve experienced from any Chipotle. Simple things like putting WAY too many beans, then almost no rice, then scooping way too much liquid in with the corn… it makes a difference. The staff is reminiscent of what you’d expect from the DMV; They work like they hate you and they have no fear of losing their job. Then the guacamole levels… ugh… I can’t even expand on this without losing my temper and possibly destroying my phone so I won’t…

This Chipotle is located in the Publix shopping center at the corner of Howell Mill Rd. and Collier Rd. It opened September 2012. This is one of my preferred Chipotle locations in metro Atlanta, not only because of its close proximity to my home, but because I’ve never had any issues here. The food has been on par, if not better than other Chipotle locations. And, contrary to many other reviewers’ experiences, I’ve received mostly efficient and professional service here. The store is relatively new and has held up well in its first couple years of existence. The space isn’t terribly big, but it’s open, spacious, and naturally well lit. It’s one of the smaller Chipotles I’ve seen. The interior feels modern and clean with an exposed, loft-like design and hanging light fixtures. There are long rows of high top tables, regular tables, a row of window seating, and more intimate, «private» seating off to the side. There’s a covered patio out front and plenty of parking. I like Chipotle because I can get a filling, healthy meal for under $ 8. Chipotle generally uses higher quality ingredients than the other burrito places and is a smart option vs. fast food and fast casual joints. Chipotle uses naturally raised meats(no antibiotics or hormones) and organic, sometimes local/regional, produce. The result is a difference you can(sometimes) actually taste. I like that they clean, cut, and cook some of their vegetables on-site. Admittedly, it’s partly psychological, but it makes you feel better knowing you’re eating«fresher» food. The menu is simple: burritos, tacos, burrito bowls, and salads. You can customize them any way you like. All of the ingredients are laid out before you so you can what’s going into your meal. My favorite thing to order is a chicken burrito bowl. It starts with a bed of rice and beans. I like the cilanto-lime white rice(it’s great by itself) and black or pinto beans(whatever I’m in the mood for — I order black beans more often). The tender, marinated chicken goes on top. Then I add pico de gallo, roasted chili-corn salsa, spicy salsa(red chili-tomatillo), shredded cheese, and romaine lettuce. I sometimes add sour cream and/or guacamole(guac is extra). If you order a burrito bowl to go, it comes with a lid. If you dine in, these lids are useful if you don’t finish your bowl and want to take the rest home. The burrito bowls heat up well in the microwave after being refrigerated. Condiments, disposable silverware, napkins, and fountain drinks are self-serve out of the center console. Condiments include red and green Tabasco sauce. The green Tabasco sauce is a milder version of the hot sauce. There are also containers of lemon wedges. I like to squeeze a bit of lemon into my water. You can also squeeze it over your food(e.g. tacos) if you want.

I’m giving this Chipotle 4 stars in hopes to boost its rating. The employees were friendly, the food was good and the place was very clean. It’s just like any other Chipotle to me. Nothing bad really stuck out. Only qualms were that they were out of Carnitas this day and they didn’t have the green Tabasco, but it’s no big deal. A friend and myself met up for lunch with our two kids and the employees were so friendly. One volunteered to help us switch out chairs for highchairs. And after we were done eating, and the kids made a huge mess, they told us not worry about it, and that they would clean up. Also, several employees were continuously cleaning up after customers. So…Yay! Chipotle!

Yuck, don’t eat at this Chipotle location! Today was my last time! I have given it 3 chances because it is the closest location to me. Two of those times my burrito bowls tasted nasty! Once it was salty, and today’s tastes bitter! How can their taste be SO far off the other locations’ tastes? I’ve eaten at 4 other surrounding locations, and I LOVE those Chipotles. Also, this place is very mismanaged and has a really young staff working. Today I stood at checkout with my payment in hand for almost 5 minutes waiting for them to change out the register of one employee to another. How many Chipotle employees does it take to do this? Five! Five of them stood around for this procedure. Chipotle Corporate, you better get in there fast and make some serious changes if you want to save this location!

Howell Mill… smh, I watched this girl, hand a telephone to a coworker that was ordering over the food and the glass with her gloves on. She went back to preparing food with those SAME gloves. When the coworker was done talking on the company phone, she hands the phone back to this girl with the same gloves, she puts the phone down and starts back preparing food. She touched her clothes and other things, but never thought to rewash and reglove her hands with new gloves. There is way too much going on for uncleanliness. Needless to say, we left. Ironically, I hadn’t looked at the reviews and they seem to be consistent. Smh.

I heard about sofritas after watching Inside: Chipotle on Netflix. Since then, I’ve been on a quest for sofritas, their tofu option! Finally, I found it at this location right off Howell Mill and Collier Rd. Unfortunately, they’re not my favorite — the cumin flavor is too strong to me. The burrito roller very generously let me try it before I got it in my entire burrito. I didn’t have as many issues with service as some of the other reviewers seem to have. The cashier was a little unfriendly but I didn’t feel overwhelmingly unwelcome.

Let me first say that I love Chipotle, but this store is consistently the worst. Today’s episode was typical: long lines, empty tables, staff shouting at customers to squeeze together tighter(instead of figuring out how to check people out more quickly.) I had to ask for a tray, and I was offered a dirty one wiped down by a dirty rag only to make it to the drink station to find sticky coke and lemons on the floor there were no forks in the bin either. This store had 5 people on the line and it was only slowing things down even more. If only one of those people had been responsible for checking on the customer area, and washing some food trays things could only get better.

But for the fact that my experience at every other Chipotle has been substantially better, this would likely be a 3-star review. It’s hard to excuse basic things like the trash overflowing and them running out of chicken just because it’s a busy location. Yeah, I get that, however there are many other locations just as busy(Barrett Pkwy. in Kennesaw comes to mind) that don’t seem to have these problems. I’ll give the staff some credit for doing their best to try to work through the long lines. It seems like they’re all working double duty. For example, tonight the cashier was taking payments, thanking people, and busing tables. The first associate was preparing burrito bowls and asking for orders so quickly that sometimes they were 3 – 4 deep waiting for ingredients. The folks making the burritos can only go as fast as their managers and support team. If someone’s not watching the chicken it will run out. If someone’s not monitoring the trash cans(all of them, not just the one you can see from behind the counter) they’re going to get full. That’s basic stuff that even someone like me — who doesn’t have any experience managing a restaurant — can tell you.
