I got food poisoning from the food here. I ordered the food the night before, and woke up vomiting. I continued vomiting all day. I spent all of my time in bed or in my bathroom. I still can’t eat a thing and am still mildly nauseous. Don’t eat here

We ordered delivery from them for our stay in Georgia. We ordered the egg rolls and beef and broccoli. The service was not great but not horrible. The guy was efficient but not really friendly either. The delivery arrived quick and it was hot! However, the food tastes really off. Either the ingredients weren’t fresh or the cooking was weird, but my fiancé and I both agreed it tasted funky. The beef tasted old and gamey and the sauce was oily and not well seasoned. However, it was good to have something to eat so late!

Try the steamed pork buns — it isn’t on the menu but it’s definitely worth asking about.

Delivery was fast and the prices are okay… That being said the Green Chicken Curry did not even resemble a curry. It also lacked flavor and half of the ingredients that were advertised on the menu. I was severely disappointed. Surprisingly the steamed rice was okay. But without a worthy entrée it’s meaningless. Pick somewhere else

Should of waited till morning, ordered from Chopsticks as it was the only place that was delivering at 2 am. Mongolian beef: chewey, Fried Rice: bland, Crab Rangoons: Sour taste to the ‘filling’ and exterior was stale, Spring Rolls: Undercooked. Quick delivery though! Overall a waste of $ 20.

Can I give negative stars? The food I ordered was literally inedible. The crab rangoons were oversized, understuffed, and undercooked. The rice that came with was absolute mush. The mongolian beef? So nasty that I chewed on it for a full minute and it still wasn’t breaking up. It was almost complete fat. This food was just okay the first time I ordered it. This was my second experience and it was horrifying. Really honestly food I could not even eat. So disappointed I paid for this crap. Don’t waste your time — there are several other close chinese places to order from.

General Tsao’s was stuck together and not nearly as good as other places in the Emory area. Delivery took 30 minutes longer than expressed on order. Hostess was less than hospitable on the phone.

Nuts and bolts: A friend was injured, so another friend and I went to hang out with him. This is the food that he wanted to order, so we got it for him. Pros: Delivery was completed in a reason amount of time. Cons: The food was just terrible. Though my injured friend likes this place, my other friend and I both gave it thumbs(way) down. Take home message: Never again.

We orderd food and it took for ever to get delivered home. The lady on the phone was rude while explaining why it was taking for ever. The food was allright. The positive is they are open till 3 pm on Friday night and they deliver.

I am so disgusted by the food I’ve had from Chopsticks, which says a lot as I do not dislike many foods. Inexpensive late-night food does not excuse under-cooked and repulsive meals. I ordered the Crab Rangoons, which are over-fried and by the third one, I gagged and didn’t even realize it was so unhealthy for my body that I couldn’t take it. I also had the Pad Thai. Now, this is not a hard dish to make. But the chicken was barely cooked and still had the goosebumps from its raw form on it, the noodles were only covered in red oil rather than sauce, and the entire dish had sticky balls of residue that usually comes from a dirty pan that has had different types of foods on it. I was also repelled by the Pad Thai as it reeked of feces. As soon as I opened the container, the odor occupied the entire room and I only ate a little but ended up throwing it up later that night as it was so unhealthy that I had a hard time keeping it down. I have never said this about anything: Avoid this place at all cost.

This was my worst experience ever. we ordered before two o’clock in the evening in the morning and we got the food at about 3 o’clock. we have had 4 – 5 conversations sfter we ordered online to make it essier for them. they did not speak English we were on Briarcliff and they were on Briarcliff yet they could not find us regarding the food the Penang was the worst I’ve ever had it was watered down and had no flavor the rest of the food was actually fine however we had ordered enough to qualify us for free steamed shrimp when was not in our order we called back to ask about it and they said that we could have free something next time we called and they would keep track of it first of all we will never be coming back and to not do anything to make it right. To have thewith audacity to tell me that I could have something next time was ridiculous … they were being lazy and wanted to go home we will never be going back there again and I will be doing a chargeback. Yes I expct a language issue. Slow delivery as well. We ordered extra to get the shrimp. They know we wont order again so they were not going to make it right. Also I have eaten thrre before and it wss bad then too. Shame on me for wanting late night food at a bar.

Upon calling, we received a rude hello on the the other side. She was demanding and seemed annoyed we were calling. Then the food took so long we almost thought they forgot about our order! When the food finally arrived, it was awful. Nothing of what the food should be when made correctly. The only thing good about our meal was the fortune cookies. Needless to say, we will never be dining there or ordering take out again.

This place is pretty bad, but it will do in a pinch. ONLY order from here if it’s too late for anything else to be open.

This food was pretty disgusting. Not only did they not bring the soup I ordered, they completely messed up my main course as well. It was cold and unappetizing. To top it off, I found a hair in my rice.

How is Chinese food like sex? Even bad Chinese food is still pretty good. This is what Chopsticks, and most other Chinese food restaurants in Atlanta, hang their hats on. They have the standard Chinese dishes, none particularly good, but they’re filling and not that expensive. If you need late night Chinese food, this is a decent option. Otherwise, find somewhere else to eat.

While my server was very friendly, the prices at Chopsticks are overpriced for mediocre food. What really annoyed me was the owner’s insistance on yelling at her employees for over 30 minutes despite the fact that there were customers dining. That was disrespectful, to me and the other customers.

I, like the reviewer before me, don’t understand the hate for Chopsticks. As a student, you come to value the importance(the necessity, even) of late-night delivery, and Chopsticks definitely delivers on this part. Decent chinese food to your door at 2:30am– that’s at least 3 stars right there! And it’s not half bad! Especially if you stick to the safer options, like the«hot and sour“s and the«sesame“s. If you order through Foodler or CampusFoods, they also have a special for free hot and sour soup if you order more than $ 15.00, and it comes with these crispy stick things to dip into the soup! Not bad at all! My recommendations: Crab Rangoons: Crispy, good shell and filling– just a solidly good crab rangoon. Spring Rolls: Same as the Rangoon– solidly good vegetable spring roll. It’s what I look for in a spring roll and it’s what I get from Chopsticks. Hot and Sour Soup: Good, actually hot, which is amazing for me because most«hot» and sour soups are just sour. Good flavoring and very consistent. House Special Tofu: This is actually one of the healthier and very decent options on the menu– it’s my staple from this restaurant. Tofu is friend chewy on the outside, but soft and mushy on the inside~ Yum: DD Comes with plenty of veggies like broccoli, snow peas, carrot, zucchini~ Haagen Daz Ice Cream: Hey, yes, it’s horribly overpriced, but it’s also delicious and delivered to your door when you can’t possibly spare the time/energy to drive out!(late night cramming– wooo! :O) Stay away from!!! Egg Drop Soup: Tastes like dishwater– I’m really not kidding. It was awful. Calamari: It was a daring try for me because I stick to very conservative things when it comes to «junk» chinese food, and I was burned for it. Soggy, not crispy at all and flavorless. Egh, all in the trash. Anything overly elaborate: «Spicy Garlic Eggplant», I’m looking at you! Just don’t order anything that requires special flavoring or craftsmanship… Just… no. Use common sense and stick with the simple stuff– Chopsticks does well at that, and that’s more than I can say for most of the americanized-chinese food places in Atlanta.(Lucky Buddha, Mandarin Palace, Burger Joy… looking at you guys.)

I don’t understand all the hate this place is getting. I just finished enjoying Chinese food delivered to my door at 2 am and it wasn’t bad. I’ve definitely had worse in Atlanta(although it did take me a solid year or so to figure out that, with a couple exceptions on Cheshire Bridge and Buford Highway, this city is where Chinese food comes to die.) But I’ve also most certainly had better. They have a cute little«midnight snacks» menu with what are essentially lunch specials, but it’s all you can order after 11. We got chicken-on-a-stick with fries, which are yummy seasoned strips of dark meat. I prefer white meat almost exclusively, but they were very, very good. The fries were better than average, crispy and salty. Also got the«house deluxe vegetable,» and I don’t know how it normally comes but I asked for white sauce instead of brown and it was light and garlicky and crisp. Napa, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, baby corn, zucchini, and snow peas — yum yum. The fried rice doesn’t have anything in it — even egg, really — but it had a light flavor and was good and sticky. Midnight snacks come with a crab rangoon and a deep-fried chicken wing, both good. I tried the boyfriend’s garlic chicken, though, and the texture was nicht gut. Too much meat tenderizer or something, but it was just waaaay too soft and the brown sauce was very salty. Also, delivery was fast, and midnight snacks are like $ 7 each. For 2 am Chinese delivery, why the Hell not?

I’m Chinese and I can say that this place is terrible(I bet Richard could definitely cook a meal better than this place). I enjoy eating both authentic Chinese and Americanized Chinese Food(ie Panda Express), and this place fits into neither category. They claim to also provide Thai food, but the pad see you was definitely not even close to being Thai. The only consolation prize this place has is the fact it is open late and delivers until 3am, but honestly, even as drunk food, this place is awful. Now that tells you that you should not order from this place.
