My husband is a student at Ai and for valentines day, he took me for dinner here. Prices are very reasonable($ 28 for 5 courses and $ 18 for 3). We both got the 5 courses and it was a lot but not too much food. Only thing i didn’t particularly enjoy was the main course(curry). It was a little overwhelmingly spicy… heat wise and one particular spice was stealing the show. The starter or appetizer of fried polenta with pearl onions was yummy(didn’t need the shredded pork so my husband ate it). The beef barley soup was good, lots of flavor. The frisée salad was delicious; pancetta, marinated portobello mushrooms and tomatoes with a balsamic vinegarette dressing. And for desert, I got the s’mores cheesecake. Great presentation for all dishes. We will be going back:) but maybe only getting the 3 courses.
