Waffle House

Dirty, food mediocre for a Waffle House. We are in sandy springs for heaven’s sake. When the server wiped the counter with a smelly cloth I wanted to vomit. The cook was eating bacon strips. I am sure he touched his mouth with his gloves. It is convenient though…

The time to eat Waffle House is when nothing else is open, I mean let’s be honest. And sometimes, at 1am, especially after drinking, you just crave hashbrowns. I mean, who doesn’t?
I’ve been to plenty of the «Awful Waffles,» and this one is ok, but the staff is a bit off. The woman I ordered from was so scattered — she was the only one and there was only 1 table there when I walked in (I was a to-​go order) and a 2^nd table walked in after I ordered. Yet, she had to give my order to the cook 3 times and twice gave it wrong.
I was there for 30 minutes longer than I should have been. Surprisingly, when I left my order was right (not sure how).

This is stress eating. But had to make one stop for the All-​Star Special before I head home.

This Waffle House put the W and the H in WooHoo! I have eaten here many a morning and a few lunches and always been quite satisfied. Good food, fast and friendly service. If you are a W.H. fan, this is a good one for a morning visit for sure!

One of the better Waffle Houses around Atlanta. I’ve been to my share of Waho’s in the southeastern US and this one was top 5. Food’s pretty much standard at every Waho, but what made this one shine was the lightning fast service. The staff was also very nice and courteous, as far as a Waho goes.

Why do they always manage to have different people working here every time I’ve come here at night to eat? It never seems to be the same people twice, and/​or always «new» people.
Sunday night, me and a friend went in. Knew what we wanted to order, I never got my coffee, never got the salad with the meal, and the rest of the food came out before we even got our drinks, I just walked out at that point, there’s no need for service that shitty, even for wafflehouse…

I’ve been wanting to review a Waffle House, went to my nearest one (Sandy Springs) after a run this morning. It was pretty quiet in there, surprisingly, but even so the service here was a bit slow and they got my order messed up. The waffles were good, though I didn’t get the pecan waffles that I ordered, and the syrup was overly sweet (I’d rather get pure maple syrup if I’m in a restaurant that offers it). Anyway, I’ve been wanting to go there to review it, but we’ll be going to other nearby breakfast joints that are more our style (World Peace Café, the new Flying Biscuit in Sandy Springs, J. Christopher, etc.) before we get back here for a while.
