Usually DOTS is my first stop for finish touch items for a night out. Nothing in this store is priced over $ 15. If I decide at the last minute that I am going out and I can’t find anything in my already overstuffed closet, I head out to Dots, where I usually find an $ 8 top and all the jewelery is usually buy 2 get on free or half off so not only do I get a cute top I get the earrings, bracelet and a necklace to match for less than $ 20. About a month ago I headed out to my favorite last minute shop stop, and was DISAPPOINTED! All the clothes were old and the store had a musty mothball stink to it. The girls were so involved in their own conversation about who did who and what last night that I could have literally backed my car up to the door and taken off with half the inventory, If the clothes were anything like they were in the past I might have been tempted. Today I decided to give my shop another chance. I arrive to an overly crowded store, the same musty smell lingered stronger than ever, the jewelery all looked tarnished(even the plastic neon green pearls). The mannequin on the wall had on a very cute top, so I’m thinking it’s early enough for me to buy the shirt take it home and and wash it twice to get the rancid smell out, well I try on this shirt in a small, which should fit like a glove, was more like a paper bag. Again the girls behind the counter who looked like they still had their baby teeth where going on and on about a Halloween party and what they planned on exposing. I am very disappointed with this store. It has gone from awesome to down right awful. I will never go to this store again unless it is flattened and rebuilt as a «Clothes for Carolyn»…
