I am very upset about my last purchase online with Limited. I bought two items of different sizes online to try them on once I got them. I was hoping to return the one that did not fit. I was surprised to see on the receipt mentioning that it can not be returned. However, nowhere on the check-out/cart page, it mentioned that the items can not be returned. I believe as a customer was misinformed about the return policy that was not clearly mentioned on the page. I have bought final items before, but it was always clearly marked that it cannot be returned. This is just good business, and saves my precious time and aggravation. Now I am stuck with a dress that I cannot wear!

I visited their store today in the Perimeter Mall. I hate shopping, but I looked at the website and they had some cute shorts I wanted to try on. As every store has a different size structure(why can’t we shop like men and shop by waist size?) I needed to see what my Limited size was. I entered and the store employee looked at me and didn’t say welcome or anything. OK. I ask another employee where the petites section was. She replied they didn’t have a petite section. WTF? They didn’t mention that on their website. I did manage to buy a pair of shorts(regular) on sale. I am now forced to buy petite shorts online at their website and pay shipping. I would go elsewhere, but I like how their shorts fit.

Do you ever have an experience that makes you want to immediately go to your car and write a review on Unilocal?Because that’s happening right now. I understand that retail associates and managers are worked hard and paid very little. I Spent 5 years throughout high school and college working retail and I know it sucks. That being said, you are LITERALLY(the real definition, not the new fake one) paid to be kind and helpful to your customers. That is your primary job. Today I had to come to this store to exchange some pants I’d purchased online. They didn’t fit, so I wanted to exchange if they had my difficult-to-find long length pants in stock. Shocker, they did! The correct size in one color, and she was going to have to look in the back for the other color. A couple minutes later she tells me she did not actually look in the back, but I could try this other style(that I’d specifically said I didn’t like). Tried them anyway. Unfortunately, they still just weren’t quite right. Was I being difficult? Maybe unintentionally, but I went out of my way to try and be nice and make a joke about it. Maybe this chick doesn’t like jokes our something, but she was not pleased when those pants did not fit. She offered some other suggestions and, honestly, I just didn’t like them. I Like to find something I like and then just buy like a million. I’m literally wearing the exact pants I wanted to buy right now. Unfortunately, today was just not my day, or the associate who helped me’s, apparently. I let her know I was just going to return the pants and get a shirt I’d found. In silence, she processed the exchange, told me my total, and threw all of the garments on the back counter. Including the shirt I wanted to purchase. I asked if i could please buy that shirt and, again, in silence, she rang it up. At the end of the transaction, she threw my bag at me, and I was on my way. Had there not been another customer behind me, this review would’ve been to her face. Given some random retail indicators, I’m guessing this particular employee was the manager. I Don’t ask a lot when I shop at the mall; dead sea salts hand exfoliating demonstration employees leave me alone and retail associates be pleasant. Today I got out without an amazing hand demo, but had the misfortune of running into Miss Congeniality. I still gave them 2 stars because they do carry long lengths and there are probably some totally nice girls who work here. Watch out for feisty, though. She has a special way of making you feel terrible!

I love The Limited. I steered clear for years because some of the clothes seemed old lady-ish. Some still do, but you just have to know how to pick through them and get to the cute young stuff. The staff is helpful and friendly, always quick to start a dressing room for you. There is a large clearance/sale section. Practically the entire store is on sale everyday anyways since they constantly have 40% off deals. The sizing can be inconsistent. The jeans lose their shape after a while, which is annoying. The clothes are not the *greatest* quality, but you get what you pay for. It’s definitely my go-to place for cute workwear at reasonable prices. Don’t ever pay full price here, because you will find in a few weeks it will be selling for a steep discount!

So I take a much needed day off from work and head to Perimeter Mall. Now as you all may know(well those close to me), I’ve been on this crazy weight gain regimen. I’ve finally reached a point to where I’m comfortable so I decide to see if I can go into a store and find the perfect pair of pants(since my frame usually requires me ordering in pants). I head to The Limited, I find a pair of cute trouser jeans and I head to the dressing room… I’m literally jumping up and down and screaming in the dressing room. The pants fit perfectly, my butt looks super cute and I’m wearing my ideal pants size… YAY!!! And to put icing on the cake, my jeans were originally $ 69.99, they were marked down to $ 29.99 they scanned $ 19.99! At the register I go on and on to cashier about how happy I am about my new size, his response…“ummmm congratulations”…lol…later in another store I bought a pair of skinny jeans that are to die for! Yay, me.
