Dutton & Hall

The Mister and I acquired a great, antique, wrought iron lamp via eBay that was shipped from Romania. The only hitches were that it needed to be rewired, and that in transport, one of the legs had snapped off of the base. I called a few shops that emerged in my search for repair on a Saturday morning, and the only one where I reached a human being was Dutton & Hall. I explained exactly what I needed to Mr. Hall, and he welcomed me to come by any time before 4pm.
The shop is huge, and filled with every machine and tool you can think of for metalworking, custom work, etc. I showed Mr. Hall the lamp, and after some pleasant conversation, he was off to work. Within 10 minutes, I was leaving with not only a repaired lamp (at a VERY reasonable price) and a smile, but also a referral to a local business that would do a great job on re-​wiring the lamp.
