Endocrine Specialists of Atlanta

If there was a zero on this writing that is what they would get. I have been a patient of this practice for almost 8 months, and have been here 4 times. I arrive at my appointment today and they said that they need a referral. My insurance has not changed, nothing has changed, but they need a referral from my PCP to be seen.
I should have been asked for a referral 8 months ago when I made the appointment, or if it is only good for so long, I am pretty sure that they have a phone and could have called me to let me know that I needed one. Instead, they let me make an appointment and come in, and set and wait for my name to be called, to then tell me that they can not see me until I have a referral.
While I like this doctor, this is unacceptable and I will be finding a new one ASAP! Do not go to this office.
The last appointment I had, I waited for an hour and a half to see the doctor, but everyone deserves a 2^nd chance. They sure blew that 2^nd chance!!!
