Purchased an antique sideboard from English Classics. Could not be happier with the piece and the service. We live in San Francisco so it was a leap of faith to order such a substantial piece online.
The sideboard was exactly as described. It arrived within a week of ordering and was packed superbly. We absolutely love it and would highly recommend English Classics.

We ordered a pair of large mahogany bookcases from this company. This required somewhat of a leap of faith, since our purchase was based solely on photographs on the Internet. We had looked all over the Chicago area for quality traditional bookcases and could not find any suitable ones. The bookcases are absolutely beautiful and of excellent quality. We are delighted with them. Peter Hemerlein was wonderful to do business with and provided excellent service. We highly recommend this company.

I explored the internet looking for an old English Pub Table. I found it and the chairs at English Classics. Peter was fantastic in his responsiveness and accuracy describing additional details. The furniture was exactly what was described on their site and the additional details that Peter gave.
The delivery was amazingly quick! Ordered on Sunday and arrived in Ohio on Friday! Delivery company was very timely, helpful and professional.
The furniture was packed, bubble wrapped, styrofoamed and boxed. NOTHING could have damaged this furniture. VERY impressed.
I am overall VERY SATISFIED with my experience and would definetly buy from Peter again.

I have purchased a Victorian mahogany triple armoire, a chinoiserie cabinet, a Victorian walnut sideboard, and a mahogany double pedestal dining table from these folks. I’ve had two of these items shipped with their curbside service, and although their shipping company didn’t bring the items inside, they were extremely well-​packed (in crates on a pallet) and delivery was free. Needless to say, I’ve done a lot of repeat business with them over the years. I’ve always been pleased with the quality of their services and products and plan on going back soon. Thanks, guys!
