Rude staff The woman working the register scoffed at us when we told her they ran out of lids and asked if they had anymore in the back. She brought some out that were the wrong size and when we pointed that out she just said oh well. I want this place to succeed just because they’re across from 5 guys(which is disgusting). But if their staff is rude they’ll go out of business — again.

It’s like a better sourced McDonald’s, double the price, and better concept. Except, they still probably don’t know where the cows come from, double or triple the price of Micky D’s, and is oxymoronic in concept. Healthy fast food? Oh yes! …wait… Food is completely unremarkable and not worth the full price, except for the milkshakes and fruit smoothies. I’ve been here a few times and the thing that gets me is its inconsistency; the first few the food was good to ok, and the last time the food tasted like microwaved burgers(70cent extra for bland cheese, pass!) maybe even worse. Same for the milkshakes and fruit smoothies; at first it was good then it just fell(dripped) apart to an abyss of liquid sadness. Ok, it was more like water + food coloring in both cases, and my friend’s smoothie had a good 2 inches more than mine in the cup. Unsure what happened there??? EVOS’ only saving graces are the super cool cashier with a gazillion tattoos, free wifi, free Earth Day milkshakes, and the drinks while they were good. Yeah, my friend and I watched a bit of a Korean drama while we were there in the back. Yes, there’s a back that goes on forever.

One time I came up with an idea for a healthy fast food restaurant concept. I never actually did anything with it though. Apparently, someone already did. I’ve passed EVOS several times before but never actually gone in. Scoutmob featured the Midtown location so I decided to check it out. I’ve been back again since then so I guess I like it. I had the trout wrap the first time and it was really good. I’m not usually a fan of peanuts in my food or any kind of peanut flavoring in my food, but this was really good. The second time I went I had the turkey avocado wrap. Definitely really good. Their goal is to mix ingredients that give a good flavor without making the wrap unhealthy and I think they execute that well. I haven’t been able to try the dipping sauces for the air fries yet but I definitely want to go back and sample each one. I had a strawberry banana shake and wasn’t too impressed. I probably wouldn’t order a shake on my next trip.

Great idea. Terrible food.(Midtown Location) We have gone there 3 times now hoping it would somehow fulfill the promise. It actually got worse each time. The first two times the tough, flavorless meat, stale buns and the kooladish shakes, were bad enough. The most recent time, the soggy vegetables and super old fries just absolutely killed the remaining stars. Don’t go here. It’s just bland, badly cooked, mostly stale food.

The air baked fries tasted really good, and I was surprised. How can fries that aren’t…fried be any good? I especially enjoyed their different ketchup varieties. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and it was very tasty… crispy and lots of flavor! The only thing I didn’t like was the chocolate shake — very bland. I guess I’ll have to stick to The Varsity for my chocolate shake fix. Will definitely be back to try the dogs. If only they delivered… hint, hint, wink, wink!!!

I really want to like this place. The idea is awesome– it’d be great to get a healthy and delicious burger. But Evos is not that place. The burger is like cardboard. I guess fat and salt are there for a reason. The«air fries» are somehow more greasy than deep fried ones. They are not crispy at all– just floppy sticks of potato. The milk shakes are delicious, however.

Service *** Food ** Value ** This is a great idea but I find the execution to be poor. The steakburger was dry. The bread lacked freshness. The thai chicken wrap had far too much sauce(the sauce was extremely sweet). I think they are overpriced. Next, parking is challenging. Unless you live and/or work in the area, I cannot recommend someone driving, paying for parking and dining at EVOS.

EVOS… It’s okay to me! A little expensive for a burger and some fries. I went with my co-worker who had already tried EVOS once before. The guy at the front counter was extremely helpful and patient with me(the inquisitive new customer). The first thing I noticed about this place is that it was quiet and clean. Which is nice when you are trying to get away from the hustle. Moving forward… to the eats! I had the Chipotle Turkey Burger, the Airfries, and a Mango-Guava Fruitshake. First things first… Chipotle Turkey Burger. Pretty Damn Decent!!! It was quite possibly the juiciest turkey burger I have ever had. It had some flavor too! I was very pleased. Next… Airfries. At first, I was thinking, «WTF???» But, after tasting them I was pleased. For baked fries, they were pretty damn good. Mine were just a little soggy for my taste, but it didn’t stop me from eating them… LOL! And now… The best thing at this place. The Mango-Guava Fruitshake. JUSTGETONE!!! There is nothing to really be said about this deliciousness. JUSTGOGETONE!!! A word to the wise… DONOTPARKATTHESTARBUCKSORYOUWILLGET A BOOTONYOURCAR!!!

Healthy fast food? Contradiction? Recipe for Disaster? Yup, Nope, and DEFINTELYNOPE If you’re looking for a healthy and tasty step up from Wendy’s or your regular fast food restaurant, come here. I shared my meal with Kevin B(so that we could obviously try more items). Together, we had the mango guava smoothie, the Spicy Thai Chicken wrap, the Buffalo Chicken wrap, and the fries. THESTAR of the meal was definitely the mango guava shave. JUSTGETIT. This is easily the fruitiest tastiest mango smoothie I have ever had. Usually, when you get a smoothie you get a small sphere of ice at the bottom from not enough blending. That’s normal and something I’ve gotten used to. However, here I had a sphere of fruit on the bottom. That is a sign of just how much fruit is in this smoothie. It was sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet, and had a slight tartness as well. OMG delicious. And for just 1 dollar extra when you get a wrap, why not. Oh, and its massive(16 ozs) for just 180 calories. Just wow. The spicy thai chicken wrap was a definite hit. the crispy noodles in it definitely set it apart and gave it a nice contrasting texture to the soft chicken and tortilla. The wrap itself was had a lot of flavor from spicy peanut and chili dressing. The chicken breast was warm(not lukewarm as other reviewers have said) and all of it was served on a spinach tortilla. A definite favorite. The buffalo chicken wrap was also pretty good, though a bit more run of the mill. There was plenty of «buffalo baked chicken strips» in it and a nice ranch sauce to complement the spicy buffalo sauce that the chicken strip was coated in. The neat part of the sandwich was that the buffalo chicken strip was crisp without being fried. The fries were also really good too. They didn’t taste like cardboard at all to me, and they were definitely crisp. They were salted perfectly for me as well. Oh, and guess what, these are baked as well! To be honest, if this had been a blind taste test, I would have never known. A reviewer said previously that this place wasn’t healthy. Well… ITISHEALTHY. The fries have less than half the fat of normal fast food fries, the burgers and wraps all come in under their competition as well. And the smoothies and milkshakes. Well, lets just say that nutrition wise, they blow their competition out of the water. So why just 3 stars? Well this place is just so expensive. Literally twice the price of going to any other fast food place. But I will definitely be back for the mango guava smoothie.

Evos is an interesting restaurant specializing in «healthy» fast food. Summary: The place is just ok. The food isn’t bad it’s just too expensive for my taste. If you go get some air fries(French fries that have been baked, not fried) they are good(kinda like mini baked potatoes). The hamburgers are tasty and the staff is truly helpful(since when did fast food staff seem to actually care?). Eat here to try it but I suggest you get your fast food fix somewheres else. Oh, and try the flavored ketchup. Read on for more detailed review: Food: When comparing Evos to a «normal» fast food Evos is the clear winner. The hamburger tastes like an honest-to-goodness American hamburger. It’s wasn’t a nasty grease-laden, hate-it-in-30-minutes, put-me-to-sleep hamburger substitute that most fast food places serve. The air fries are really good. They are baked french fries. They are not fried. They taste a bit like roasted potatoes. Drink: There are standard fountain drinks available at Evos. A bit odd considering Evos is trying to be «healthy» fast food place. The only thing I didn’t order @ Evos that I probably should have was the shake. I might go back for just that. Staff: The staff is truly helpful. After taking my order and waiting for my phone to pull up the scoutmob coupon I had they had my order ready quickly. After I had sat down for a bit they actually stopped by and asked if everything was going right. How weird is that at a fast food place? Takeout: As will all fast food places takeout is an option. They have special stickers for you to mark your little ketchup containers. See the special section below to see what I’m talking about. Atmosphere: This Jason’s is situation in a great area of Atlanta, right near Piedmont park. There’s an awesome outdoor seating area that is a great place to eat you food in the peaceful Georgia weather. The indoor area is clean and decorated with pictures of Venice, Italy. Parking: Parking in Atlanta is always a bit tricky. Parking at Evos is no exception. If anything it’s actually more confusing than normal in Atlanta. There is NO parking on the street. Instead you have to enter the parking deck that Evos uses from Juniper street. Juniper street is behind Evos. Note: DONOTPARK in the Starbucks parking lot right next to Evos. It might seem convenient but you will get towed. Special Notes: Evos had some very interesting ketchup options. I really liked the bbq one and the spicy one. The garlic one is good but I didn’t think it «fit.» Try one.

I used my Scoutmob coupon for EVOS on the day it was issued. I understand that the unusual swarm of patrons caused the eatery to run out of air fries and fruit cups an hour prior to closing time. However, the remaining options left me unimpressed in the areas of both taste and health. In an attempt to stick to my P90X goals, I ordered the Mediterranean Summer salad with chicken. Instead of swimming with field greens, red onions and olives as I expected, those ingredients were overwhelmed by feta chunks and croutons of different hues of brown. I felt fat and undisciplined after my meal per the carbohydrate overload. I enjoyed sitting at an outdoor table on a breezy night but felt rushed when the staff removed all the other tables and chairs from the sidewalk. «I wanna get outta here at 10:30!» one employee barked into his phone. Despite my rushing outta there, I went over the free parking limit in the Viewpoint garage, forking over $ 2 for a meal worth about the same price.

l came here the other day for lunch, since I noticed it had a scoutmob. I’d actually been here before and honestly wasn’t too impressed since it was advertised as a healthy fast food place, which even by name is a complete paradox. Still, I decided to give it another try due to the coupon, and since I wanted to show a friend how scoutmob worked. Alright so we get there, and I’m there fumbling with my wifi trying to get the scoutmob to pop up but their wifi kinda sucked. But the cashier was being really nice and patient, and then she just decided it’s alright so she just gave us the discount regardless! We soon got our food, and it tasted pretty average for fast food. But honestly, overall, the food isn’t bad, just a bit expensive for being pretty average fast food with some variety. Still, what won me over this time was the service, because even while we were eating, the same cashier came over and asked how everything was… which would be normal if this was a standard restaurant, but this is a fast food place! Still, doesn’t make up for the lack of healthiness and high price of the food.

So the great about this place: Best service that I have had at a fast food restaurant in my entire life. I cant tell you how many people came over to check on us while we ate our meal and even after the meal was done while we worked. It’s clean, the menu is relatively exciting, and its healthy, what more can you want. *** Scott raises hand. Flavor. Sorry man, as much as I want to brag on this spots ability to cook incredible fast food thats healthy, I just cant. I am starting to realize that its a dream that will never come true… never. Evos played with my emotions. There were a few things that stuck out. A) They have a variety of different tea options at their drink stand. This works well for folks that love tea, and perhaps dont want any type of soft drink. B) I am a ketchup fiend, so the four different flavors of ketchups were exciting, and each tasted exactly how they were described. But those were the highlights. And no matter how friendly the girl was at the front counter, and how many times the manager came over to check in. I still couldnt please the little fat boy inside of me, who just wasnt used to chicken fingers that tasted like cardboard, fries that were«air baked», and the blandest I’d ever tasted in my life. «Jesus be a frying pan.»

How do you reconcile EVOS? Do you review it like a fast food place? If so, the food is pretty decent but it’s way overpriced and the portions are tiny. It’s priced more like fast-casual, but the flavor of the food is kind of middling for that category. And then, I kind of believe if you’re going to have a burger and shake do it right and don’t kid yourself into thinking you’ll be satisfied by a healthy alternative. Good: The ingredients are fresh. The ketchups are tasty. Airfries come closer to working than I expected. The staff here is fast and really friendly. It’s a well-run operation. Meh: The burgers are kind of bland and overcooked like any fast food burger. A low-fat milkshake will never be as satisfying is the delicious, fatty kind. Pretty much everything else. Bad: Nothing really. I’ll be back because it’s fast, across the street, and not disgusting.

This is a great fast food joint if you don’t have time to take a long bathroom break after it. You’ll be full after eating here, but your colon won’t be spasming to get rid of the contents right after. I went here a few times to try some different menu items and to get a better vibe of what they’re going after. First off, this place is clean as a whistle. The bathrooms and everything are clean and in perfect order. More modern than any fast food joint i’ve ever been in. The staff here are very friendly and professional. They actually seem like the want to work here versus just hanging out waiting for their moms to come get them after work. The food! I had a steak burger on my first visit, and while it was healthier, it also tasted like it. I liked all the toppings on it, but the meat patty wasn’t as good as most burgers I’ve eaten. The airfries are alright, but are much better salted and popped in one of their MANY ketchup flavors. Garlic and mesquite were my favorite. The best thing I had here was the avocado and turkey wrap. Substantial and very tasty! And pretty good for you. I’ve also had a chocolate and vanilla shake. Yeah, they’re healthy, but nowhere near as good as the BK Lounge or McDonalds. You’ll pay a premium for eating healthy here, but I feel it’s worth it for better ingredients and such a pleasant place to eat. Your toilet will thank you.

Evos, you are healthy fast food, and for that I give you credit. I also give you credit for having the Sea Salt and Pepper grinders at the table as well as the many flavors of Ketchup. These elements help to set you apart from the rest. That said, I have only been here twice. I am not a big wrap guy, or cheeseburger guy. I just tried their steak burger both times with air fries and a drink. I liked the baked fries, I believe those are a fair bit healthier then fried food. As for the burger I really was not impressed. The beef lacked flavor. In the future if I want a quick burger and fries for the same price I will go back to doing it right at Vortex with tater tots and a their Sirloin burger. If I was a bigger health nut I might be lured in. But I am not, I like to eat a good, quality, fatty burger when I am in the mood. Evos scores bonus points for friendly clean staff and a nice dining area with free wifi. On the flip side it loses points by not having Dr Pepper on tap. Maybe they could at least add his kid brother Mr Pibb? I do not know if i will be back.

As much as I love the thought of healthy fast food eats, actually making them work still seems like a pipedream. Let’s face it, beef burgers and fries are never going to be healthy, or even good for the planet. Sorry. I tried EVOS’ version out at their Roswell Rd location in the past and was sorely disappointed as it all tasted like, well, health food. And if I want a burger and fries, I want a serious burger and fries. I just can’t get on the«make greasy food healthy» bandwagon, as it’s never the same. If you want to eat healthy, eat a salad. And that holds true for EVOS. I’ve found that their fresh healthy fare is quite tasty, and I’m happy to have another spot where I can grab a decent meal quick. While I may not be one to get in to healthy junk food, I will stand behind any chain or quick-bite joint that’s trying to be more sustainable, and realize that you’ve usually got to pay an extra buck or two for that. This location is a good bit bigger than the Roswell Rd location, with quite a bit of seating towards the back. Just stick to the salads. The airfries taste like cardboard, no matter how much sugary flavored ketchup you slather on them.

I like it. It’s healthy food across the street from where I live. Both times I’ve gone, I had the turkey avocado wrap. The first time, I had it with the ranch dressing and the second time I had it without the dressing and, big surprise, it’s better with the dressing. But the second time I had it, I brought it home and was able to perk it up with some balsamic vinaigrette, so all was not lost. I’ve also had the Mediterranean Summer Salad, which I quite enjoyed; the veggie chili, which was also good but in a pretty small cup; a side green salad; the air fries(I did like them but I’m sorta off starchy foods now so probably won’t get them again); and a mango-guava fruit shake, which completely rocked(I see me getting these very frequently come summertime). I like this place because I do try to eat healthy and it is often tough to find a place that offers a wide selection of healthier foods. Usually when I dine out and try to eat something healthy, I get to choose from about 5% of the menu and I have to either skimp on protein or veggies, while adding more fat and calories than I’d like to add. This place is easy. They also have a lot of options that are poultry, fish or veggie, and that opens up a lot of doors for me. They are a bit pricey for what you get but really not that out of hand. Another reason I like them is because they have their nutrition information published on their website, which is very tough to find, and it’s actually not that scary to read. The staff is beyond friendly and very accommodating and helpful.

Everything is touted as «organic» and«natural» by all the right definitions. That wasn’t as appealing as a healthy attempt at fast food. Good news first: BAKEDFRIES. I like my fries not too salty, thick, and squishy on the inside. So these were the perfect texture for me. Also, I had the wrap combo and it was the portion I am supposed to eat. I was full without a single bite over full. PS, I may look little, but I actually have the capacity to eat quite a bit. Bad news next: My wrap combo cost just over $ 9. The turkey and avocado wrap was cold and soft all over. It had fairly good flavor, but it highly irritated me that there was no hot turkey, cold avocado spread contrast, or even worse, no soft wheat tortilla, crunchy lettuce contrast. To me, those things distinguish a premade wrap from the grocers’ cooler and a freshly made one. Good, but probably not good enough for me to be back all that often. I hear that beginning Dec 12 they’re going to have the«12 days of meals» where one burger or wrap is going to be at a «special price» each day.

After spying a mention of their grand opening from Unilocaler Melissa L on Twitter, I ventured to EVOS in the Viewpoint building for lunch today. What I encountered was a very clean, very bustling, fast food joint with a focus on healthy foods. One of the workers offered me a sample of their«Airfries» as I walked in, eager to answer any questions that I might have had about their menu. The menu was pretty simple – burgers, wraps, salads, and shakes all at set prices, respectively, with different options for value meals and add-ons. I ordered a Crispy Thai Trout wrap with Airfries and a Strawberry Banana fruitshake(no dairy for my lactose-intolerant guts). The trout wrap was exactly as described, appropriate crispy and flavorful where it needed to be. While I’m not usually a fan of trout, the healthy trappings of the venue got to me, and I decided I should perhaps eat a little better than my usual carb-and-cholesterol-fest, and I found the fish not at all fishy. While I did enjoy my wrap, I did a few misgivings about the remainder of my meal, which totalled $ 10.05. The Airfries were, true to their title, a bit insubstantial, both in texture and quantity. My fruitshake tasted very good, but the 16oz size wasn’t to my expectations. Perhaps my years of super-sizing value meals at the more-common fast food restaurants have given me a warped sense of how much food, side, and shake should come for ten dollars. That said, I did find the service to be first-rate. As I waited for my order, the folks behind the counter were very friendly and accommodating, asking if I needed anything as I waited. Throughout my meal, I found employees going around asking if everything was okay, and explaining the environmental and health-conscious philosophy behind the restaurant(and its sustainable food and décor). While I can attribute this to a grand-opening day enthusiasm, both the food and the mission behind EVOS suggest, despite prices a bit beyond this cheap-bastard’s standards, that I should make a return trip sometime to sample a bit more.
