I love a firehouse sub. Got in on these in college, and every once in awhile a hook & ladder sub just sounds right . This place isn’t the cleanest-maybe it isn’t «dirty» per se, but I feel like a clean rag on the tables to wipe off the lettuce crumbs from the guy who sat here two subs ago would go a long way. The employees don’t seem too friendly-but every shop is different. They aren’t rude-they just aren’t like some other firehouses I have been at, where you were given a friendly welcome upon entering. Management could tweak a few things to make it better, but for the most part it works. Bonus-they have the free style coke machine so there is truly a beverage for any one and every one.

First time here for me and my girl. We both have heard good things so decided to try these guys out. Great place! Friendly and welcoming staff. Took a few moments picking our sub’s and changed some things with no rush and no problems. The food came out fast and hot and was delicious! I got the turkey bacon ranch with monterey jack instead of cheddar and no onions and no mayo, my girl got the firehouse meatball. They hit the spot for us and we will definitely be back!

With the addition of the Hearty & Flavorful menu, it has made Firehouse even better if you’re into the lower calorie and carbs. You’ll love these new sandwiches… Stop by and try one you won’t regret it!!!

Firehouse has some really good subs. One of my favorites when it comes to chains.

This place is great! Firehouse gives you a free sub on your birthday! It was a sweet deal! I’ve always loved eating here, I like how they make sandwiches and their bread is never soggy, always fresh. The reason for four stars is because the restaurant wasn’t very clean when we arrived. Only until more folks started to arrive did someone begin cleaning.

Guilty pleasure. Guilty as charged. When going to a particular chain restaurant, it’s best to visit the same one a few times before determining how good the place truly is. This place kicks ass. This was my third trip to this firehouse in as many weeks and every visit has been outstanding. The hook and ladder is too damn good. I will be back, maybe tomorrow. Haha I kid, sort of…

My first time and it was a guilty pleasure! Worth all the calories… HELLO lol. It helps that the customer service was wonderful and the brisket melted in your mouth. I subbed the cheddar for Monterey Jack… Love in your mouth. And did I say I loved it? Oh ok #BOOM

So I’ve never been to a Firehouse I didn’t like. This particular Firehouse is no different. They are friendly and quick and the food is always on point. Now, as far as a sub shop goes… Firehouse isn’t exactly the cheapest place around, but the subs are worth the little extra cash. Subway should be run out of town with pitchforks and torches like the foul being it is. It can never touch the deliciousness of my fair Firehouse. You can’t go wrong with the oodles of hot sauces they put out for you to choose from. My all time favorite hot sauce… write this down so you don’t forget, is Gator Hammock. It’s seriously the cats pajamas. Put that sweet nectar on a Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket sub and feel your taste buds dance inside your mouth like a classic episode of SoulTrain. Ya Dig?

The toasted subs are made quickly with a really nice staff of attentive sub-makers. It smells great, but the final taste is not quite five stars. However, even though I am not giving it the highest rating, I would encourage anyone to try this place.

While the food was absolutely delicious. The food made me sick… most likely to cross-contamination. I am allergic to beef. And when you work with red meant and poultry… you should change your gloves out and use different utensils. This way not to make those who don’t or can’t eat one or the other sick! I saw them fixing multiple sandwiches. There was a period where it looked like the cook changed gloves. I couldn’t tell because of the SUPERHIGH wall. But yep. Clearly by how sick I felt last night and some residual issues… he did not! Even beef juices on my sandwich can cause major issues. I hope this is something the manager will seriously take a look at! Other than that… the assistant manager was knowledgable and helpful. The place was super clean… and organized.

I’ve been here several times; each time, I get reliable and fast service. And their subs taste so good and warm! Parking on the lot is easy.

This is like most firehouses but the manager here is exceptionally friendly. The place is always clean and a good spot for an inexpensive lunch. I am not a big fan of reviewing chains but would recommend this to people in the area looking for a relatively quick and inexpensive sandwhich at a higher level than Subway/Jimmy Johns.

I’ve never been dissatisfied with Firehouse Subs! Their place is clean, food is hot, and they’re good about greeting you as you enter.

I know it’s a chain but daayyyummm their sandwiches are good! Their honey ham sub makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Firehouse is definitely going to take longer than Subway, Quiznos, or others, but it’s worth the wait. It’s a little misleading cause it’s «fast food» but it’s going to take you as long as a restaurant might. The service as this one has always been friendly. My own complaint with Firehouse is they’re so expensive. 6 inch sub(just the sub!) for $ 8? Craziness.

Firehouse is a great change of pace from your Subway or Quiznos subs. It does take a little longer to prepare and a little more expensive, but it is worth the wait and money! And as you’re waiting for your delicious food you can pick out which of the 50 hot sauces you’re gonna use(my favorite part)!! The people at this location are very friendly which just makes the experience that much better. They also have the cool soda machines. I recommend their Italian fully loaded.

You think you guys could take another 30 minutes on my sub? Thanks. Went here with my dog in tow. Wife bought a sub. It took, no kidding, twenty minutes for this sub to come out. We thought about leaving, but stuck with the Club. It was pretty good, but not thirty minutes good. At that point, I thought about all the Boar’s Head people getting laid off because I opted for a Firehouse sub.

Way better than the other sub chains out there. If you want a fast-food sub that isn’t by one of the other cheaper chains, check out Firehouse. You will pay a bit more, but the difference is worth it.

I’d go more or less anywhere that has a Coke Freestyle machine, and this one even has a few flavors I haven’t seen before, like the Firehouse-exclusive cherry limeade made with Coca-Cola ingredients. But I’d also come here even if they didn’t have the Freestyle, because their dizzying array of hot sauces includes both the Datil Do It brand of datil pepper sauce from St. Augustine and also a house-brand sauce that’s made with datil peppers. It’s a smoky, raisiny flavor that’s hard to find in most restaurants outside North Florida, and I will always be a Floridian, even while I’m an expatriate of the state. The subs are very good, too. I thought I’d better mention that since that’s why most of y’all will be coming here.

For a chain restaurant, this place serves THEBEST subs I have ever had.(comparing them to Subway, Quizno’s and Potbelly’s.) If you’ve ever watched the team make your sandwich, you’d know they make all their food with love. Firehouse steams their meat and toast their bread separately and the combination of everything combined is just purely amazing. The review from 2008 is out of date. Firehouse now serve coke products. In fact, they are one of a few locations currently testing out the new coke machine that can serve up to 108 flavors. The machines are cool to check out but once you have their subs, you will be going back for more. The only downside is that they don’t have more locations around Atlanta.
