I’d never visited Five Guys in the 18yrs I’ve been in Atlanta. I’ve only heard about it in passing. My family is visiting so I’ve been taking them to some food spots to go home bragging about. After leaving Ross on Caroline yesterday I decided to Unilocal nearby restaurants. Five was so close with overall great reviews so I decided to «bite». Plus, I’d always wanted to try it. When ordering, the young lady was kind enough to let us know that two fries would feed the four of us, saving me a couple bucks. The fries were good and the burgers were great. Suddenly, my mom gets a strange look on her face while chewing her delicious burger. She begins pulling out a long black hair like one of those clowns at a kids birthday party. The whole table was like«Ewww!» We began to laugh as we are a goofy bunch. The staff appeared to be expecting our return to the counter as we were an earshot from the counter and another young lady sassily approached and pat her hand on the counter like she was ready for us. Mom showed her the hair, along with the chewed burger it was in(gross). The lady stated that they wear hair nets and just looked at Mom. I then said we do not have black hair since she wasn’t offering any solution and she replied that she didn’t say we did. Alrighty. So she was then offered a new burger which is fine because they were good. I began to wrap mine for later. I just had to let the picure in my head subside. We were brought the replacement burger by a nice lady and she apologized. I would have given 4 stars even after the hair if they would have offered a solution at the onset of the complaint given with evidence. Or if the person was as welcoming as the order taker and the lady who brought the replacement. We could see the cooks wear hair nets, but we clearly didn’t have jet black course hair. We shouldn’t have had to defend that point before a solution was offered. 2 of the 3 peolple we made contact with were gracious. I will return in the future. I just won’t take my mom :)

When there’s indecision on what to eat for lunch or dinner or when there’s a craving for a good, fresh burger with the fixings you want, then this is the place to go. The fries are to die for. Man I could eat them all day. With as many combinations to put on a burger, you can’t go wrong with keeping it cozy and simple or sprucing it up to try something new.

who needs a 15 dollar burger?! i don’t care who you are or what you’re cooking, the guy handing me my burger was straight up rude to me, he insulted me to my face, even after i went out of my way to tip the kitchen. When i called to let the manager know they refused to let me speak to him. I promise you i will not be spending another dime here. you can do everything perfect from start to finish but if the hand off man screws it up you all lose. Big mouth ruined it for me, and then refusing to make it right sealed the deal. get bent.

I don’t get the people who rate this place as average. Perhaps ‘average’ compared to the Ritz but seriously, it’s a hotdog place so I rate it as freaking awesome on my hotdog-o-meter. I took the family, the girl at the cash hardly spoke English but the order was correct and fast. We did take out(it was 25 in Atlanta that day and the heat inside was unbearable) and found a spot around the corner to eat. I had the Croquette dog and it was great as were my butter fries(whoever thinks of these combinations is a food genius). Best hot dog I’ve ever had. I challenge anyone to find a better hotdog anywhere(and don’t message me with any silly chili dog as a contender) and I will travel to eat it and call your bluff.

Their employee Stephanie is by far the worst person I’ve even encountered in the food industry. She was rude not only to the guest but also to her co workers. She made my experience horrible and take my food to go if I walk in and see her their. How can anyone hire someone so heartless. She kept saying«This is why I am looking for another job» as well as yelling at customers stating«are you all ignorant? I shouldn’t have to call numbers out like this». She screamed the entire time I was there. Stephanie is not a good employee and needs to find new employment. Myself nor the employees she works with deserve to have someone so heartless, ignorant and rude putting a damper on their day. Stephanie needs a reality check. Either love what you do or find another place to do it at.

I like my burgers medium rare. that being said I enjoy these well done burgers. I have also unfortunately gotten a few that were a bit overcooked and dry on more than one occasion. I love the toppings and the Cajun fries. If you go with another person get one order of fries and share. Its more than enough

Compared to other Five Guys locations, they have the smallest portion of fries here. And, fries are too good to go for a place where they’re cheap with portions. The location in Lindbergh is the most generous.

Clean five guys in a clean neighborhood. Quick walk from the train station.

I love Five Guys. The burgers are really good and taste very fresh. There are plenty of toppings to choose from as well. I usually get the«little» size hamburger, because the regular sized one is just too filling for me. The fries are delicious and the portions are very generous(usually way too much for me to finish!) Prices are good, not extremely cheap, but you get what you pay for! There are always parking spots available and you can also order online ahead of time, so you can skip the line and get your food at lot faster. Oh, and they play awesome Motown and Soul music inside. Definitely recommended!

One hell of a burger and fries! One hell of a tab for that burger and fries! Nonetheless, it’s excellent. Like Samuel L. Jackson said in Pulp Fiction: «That is a tasty burger.»

Great burgers, and you can’t go wrong with the home fries. A true classic burger joint.

The food is fast, fries are plentiful and all the peanuts you can eat. Everything is cooked in peanut oil so this is not the place for those with allergies. I especially enjoyed the music, like motown hits. There is a ton of people watching options with the wide, large windows, and when the weather is nice, you can dine al fresco.

This place is consistently awesome. From location to location, the quality is always good. You need to try this chain if you love burgers and fries.

Might just be the best Five Guys in Atlanta. My wife and I have tried most of them in metro Atlanta and these guys really do a great job. Nice clean store, great Motown music playing, super nice team working there and great burgers and fries. With the exception of the original just south of DC, this may be the best one!

Solid burgers, solid dogs, solid fries, free peanuts, good prices. I always get a single cheeseburger with just pickles, ketchup, and mustard. They are more than willing to oblige with side dishes of condiments(mayo + fries? Mmm!) A great hangover treat to satisfy you when you don’t quite want fast food, but also don’t feel like a sit down restaurant.

So glad that there’s a five guys so close by! Service is good enough, food is excellent and it will surely fill you up. Cajun fries are the bomb! 5⁄5 would go again.

If you’re in the mood to clog your arties with burgers that are tastier(and less budget friendly than McDonalds), then this is the place for you. I was in the area with some friends, and I wanted a burger, so this place seemed as apt as any. There are two different sizes, one called Little, and one that I suppose is their Regular. Their«Little» burger is any other fast food chain’s regular sized burger, and their regular sized burger is a monster. I got the Little Cheeseburger for under $ 5 and a side of fries which were about $ 3, so a meal for under $ 10. Dear bejeesus, the fries were good! As if McDonalds fries(not sure if these are the same string bean size, it’s been a couple years since I’ve eaten here) and Wendy’s fries had a baby. They had all the grease that make McDonalds fries good, and the slightly larger lightly salted aspect of the Wendy’s fries that make them better for you than McDonalds. And there were… So many. Dear lord, were there. They give you a paper cup, but that was amply overflowing to the point that the wrapped hamburger was covered with fries on all sides. I really like that they have free toppings. I got some sautéed mushrooms, lettuce, pickles, and ketchup on the side. They went a little lettuce happy, but that was easily remedied. A little expensive I think. I could have spent $ 8 at Farm Burger and gotten a marginally tastier burger, but it hit that greasy craving. The burger itself was what you’d expect, and exactly what I was craving: large and in charge, and greasy greasy greasy. Some days that sort of food just hits the spot. And while this is definitely no gourmet burger place with super fresh ingredients and made-to-order beef, it was everything I wanted. McDonalds Wendy’s Shake Shack 5 Guys Smashburger Yeah! Burger The Vortex Farm Burger Einstein’s

This location is A-OK. They get… ehh. 4.5 stars for their customer service. Very friendly, they smiled and were upbeat. They held the door for me and other customers. However, they kinda got my order wrong. I asked for a small cheeseburger with sauteed onions, ketchup, mustard and mayo. Don’t judge. They gave me a small cheeseburger with raw onions, mustard and mayo. The condiments were on opposite sides of the patty, which was weird. maybe that’s just me. It wasn’t a great burger, and the fries were mediocre; not hot, not particularly tasty. It was lunch time, loud, getting busy and there was a cop in line after me, so who knows, maybe they were just working too fast. I’m not angry, but I would probably pick a different place to eat next time I’m in the area.

This is an update from from my 2011 post: This is probably the only fast food I will still eat. Simply walking past this place makes me want to eat a hamburger. I recently tried the online ordering option when we realized to had to make a run to Lowes to return something and needed to grab dinner quickly. Thankfully Five Guys doesn’t cook the fries until you show up to pick up your food so they don’t get all cold and lardy. Just a note on the cajun fries: I’m allergic to spicy food, and the cajun fries made me have an allergic reaction. If you have issues eating spicy food, definitely pass on these.

Mmm who doesn’t look a good Five Guys burger? This location is no different than the others. I’ve had less than stellar service here, but really, I’m not expecting it. One thing I would recommend is the cajun fries. They can go a little heavy on the seasoning, so I ask for half regular and half cajun fries. They actually give you a little more that way, and your mouth will thank you later when you’re not breathing fire. Also, check out online ordering. It’s pretty simple and they have your burger ready when you get there. Best part — you get to skip any lines! My one negative about Five Guys is that it’s so pricy. I get that you’re getting the toppings for free, but $ 6 for a little cheeseburger is a bit much, especially without fries.
