Linkz Express is a hot dog food truck that commenced business in Atlanta in 2012. The truck sells a variety of sausages with several playful twists plus burgers, sandwiches(chicken melt, Philly cheesesteak), wings, nachos, and fries. I encountered this food truck at the Beltline food truck park across the street from Ponce City Market. The truck is painted in a bold orange-yellow-red gradient. Its design looks rather busy with blown-up cartoony graphics and fonts, and close-up, in-your-face food photos plastered on the side. Add to that a menu featuring over a dozen different hot dogs plus 30 different toppings and a tarp showing off pictures of more food and it’s easy to see this truck has got a lot going on. The Sharpied-in prices on the menu were faded and very hard to read. Most sausages ran $ 6 each and orders of other items, such as the chicken melt and burger, ran about $ 5 – 6 each — reasonable prices. However, drinks such as canned Coke products and bottled water from Costco cost at least $ 2 each. A lot of food trucks in Atlanta only charge a buck for a bottle of water. Examples of interesting sausages include a po boy sausage that comes with shrimp, a Cuban sausage made with ham and Swiss cheese, a pizza sausage made with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses plus pepperoni and tomato sauce, and a taco sausage wrapped in flour tortillas with shredded cheese, lettuce, salsa, and sour cream. I tried the jerk sausage, Philly cheesesteak, and disco fries. The jerk sausage comes with mayo, jerk sauce, lettuce, jalapenos, and mango sauce. The sausage link was thick and plump with a shiny and very firm exterior that had a good snap. It was dark brown, almost burgundy, in color. The shredded lettuce was fresh, the sliced jalapenos were pickled, and the mango sauce was sweet. It was a big hot dog. The appropriately-sized bun had a slight crispness to it. Overall, I thought it was a satisfying, meaty dog. The Philly cheesesteak was nice and filling. It included plenty of thin slices of savory steak, melted cheese, green peppers, mushrooms, and onions. I think the cheese was provolone. The inside of the roll was toasted on the griddle. This was gratifying comfort food, plain and simple. Disco fries are French fries topped with melted cheese and gravy, sort of like poutine, but without the curds. I couldn’t tell if there was any gravy in Linkz Express’ version. It seemed like just cheese fries to me. The soft fries were crinkle-cut, seasoned, and topped with a generous helping of melted cheddar cheese. These were OK. All food is made to order and comes out hot off the grill. I’d give staff at least 5 – 10 minutes to prepare your order. Credit card payments are handled via Square and receipts can be texted or emailed to you. I was never told a final amount for my transaction and found out via my emailed receipt that I was automatically charged gratuity along with another 50 cents added into the«Custom Amount» line. It’s not a big deal dollar-wise, but it does seem shady/unfair to me because there is no indication automatic gratuity will be added and the 50-cent surcharge meant I paid for food at prices that were not reflected accurately on the menu.

Great Chicago dog. Really yummy. It was rather large so it was hard to maneuver. Midway through, the majority of the ingredients fell off. However, it was Just as good as a Chicago dog, classic version, that I had in Chicago.

Got the best Jerk Sausage here at Linkz Express. The Mayo and the Jerk sauce was great, I love the combination of it. Its kinda amazing how they made this delicious thing. The chicken wings here was also good, I never expected them to cook this kind of delicious food.
The manager was also great on their customers, because when my friend had an issue about her food. The manager rushed into our table and settled the issue. That managerial quality was really great, congratulations to the manager for having this kind of employee.

I came here on my lunch break one weekday. I saw this place and decided to drop in and try it. I decided to get the lunch special which was 2 pieces of chicken, 1 side, and 1 piece of bread, and a drink. Luckily I had a lil bit of time b/c it took them 45 – 50 minutes to cook my food and get it to me. They seemed really unready for the normal lunch rush this day. The older gentleman behind me wanted the same thing but wanted his meal grilled instead of fried. After about 15 minutes they called him back up and told him they weren’t sure if they could do it. I got tired of standing there waiting on my food so i went to the store next door to look around and told the lady i’d be back in a lil while. The one good part of this process was that the lady from this establishment went out of her way to bring me my food while i was looking around in the market next door. I probably won’t come back here b/c it was an inconvenience. The food that i got wasn’t bad at all but it wasn’t great enough to deal with this. Best of luck to the establishment but i won’t be returning.
