Over the years I have tried DIY whitening strips, DIY whitening trays and whitening treatments at the Dentist. The DIY ways worked ok, but the treatments caused gum sensitivity(pain) and it took too long to get the results. So the last few years, I’ve been getting my teeth whitened at my dentist’s office, and many of us know, it’s pricy. I thought I would try Flash since they promised similar results at a significant discount from what I was paying at the dentist. I am very happy to report that I wasn’t disappointed. The price was great and the results were just as good. The technician explained to me one of the benefits of their system was that as long as you avoid getting the whitening gel on your gums, you will not have any pain or gum sensitivity. I was careful when applying the gel, and she was right because I got a small amount of the gel on my gums, and it stung a little bit. I’ll definitely go back, though. The people there were very nice, it was easy, fast, great results and for the most part, pain free.

Came in due to a Groupon. The lady in the front was very nice, and the process was quick. However, I wish I was informed of the actual process since this was my first time. I had no idea what I was getting myself into haha. I did do some research prior coming in, but I guess it was not enough. So, if this is going to be your first time getting your teeth whitened professionally, here are what you need to know: Step 1: They will hand you a Qtip wth vaseline on them. Use it to generously and moisturize your lips Step 2: Prepare your phone for a selfie. They are going to have you put this mouth stretcher thingy and it is hilarious. Take a picture. Step 3. They will give you another Qtip with vitamin E oil, and they will advise you to generously apply it on your gums — which you should DOIT. Step 4: They will give you another Qtip with the actual whitening gel, which again, you yourself will have to apply. Here is where i get irked — they tell you to apply the gel up and down, from top to bottom, from your gums — but here is what i didnt know — THISGELSTINGSYOURGUMS! it is actually quite painful. So … my suggestion is for you is to try your best to keep the gel away from your gums! Step 5: Then they lay you down with protective glasses on and they turn on the UV light. You stay there for however long your session is. Step 6: You sit up, remove the mouth stretcher, and they hand you a small cup of water so you can rinse off the gel off your teeth, and spit that water back in that same small cup. EW. After the whole thing, I found the edges on my gums were white! I was freaking out. Apparently, this is normal reaction from the peroxide that is in the gel. So! if youre going to get your teeth whitened for an event, make sure you do this waaaaayyy ahead of time. The dental tech told me it will go away after 30 minutes, but mine stayed for like a couple of hours. But, at the end of the day, my teeth did got whiter by ten shades. Ten shades sounds like a lot, but I really couldnt tell that much of a difference. I guess my teeth weren’t that bad to begin with, but I was hoping to add that little oomph for a special event I was going to that evening. Anyways, all in all, it was all okay. It is not that bad, but I felt like my visit could have been better, and I really wish they told me that the gel stings and that my gums would turn white on the edge.

I recently found the Flash location and decided to try it. I could not have been more satisfied with the results. Upon arrival, I knew I was at the right place. Kacy & Vincent are true professionals in this industry. They answered all of my concerns and the results were unbelievable! I have had several procedures including the Crest Strips and I can tell you, Flash blows all them away. In only 30 minutes, the procedure removed years of stains. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed!
