I think that Fuze Burger offers a variety of unique burgers for reasonable prices. The service was fast(usually) and friendly. I had the salmon burger with fries. My partner has the kobe burger with tots. Both of us enjoyed our burgers. The portions were just the right size.

The burgers are pretty good and moderately priced. I usually get the tater tots with mine. They have good drink specials and a very upscale assortment of liquors(Remy Martin XO, Macallan) for those so inclined. I like that they have free wifi and that the service is fast. Unfortunately it is not really walking distance from the core Midtown area, and is thus not a viable alternative for me most of the time.

I want to like this place more but the burgers are just kinda whatever. The bread isn’t standout, the meat is ok. There’s no need for wacky ingredients without making a solid basic burger. i’m willing to give it 1 more shot.

Dry, over-seasoned uni-textured beef, onion rings unremarkable enough to leave on the plate. Seating area stank of dirty mop-water. We haven’t been eating out much lately and tried this place because of ScoutMob, even at half off, this was a huge disappointment. yuck.

I need to preface this by saying that we went here on the same day that the Scoutmob was sent out. I knew it was a bad idea. However you can’t change the fact that all open tables were dirty. Service was sloooooow and horrible. She gave me the wrong wings(which was a big deal because they were breaded). My beer was 10 minutes behind everyone else’s drinks. There wasn’t a single burger that tempted me to eat it, seriously. And of course there’s the complimentary valet parking — I hate valet. And this is a pet peeve, it deserves it’s own paragraph. Our waitress spent the majority of the time behind the bar flirting with some scuzzy guy instead of 1. cleaning up the dirty tables, 2. checking on your tables, and 3. doing anything productive. I honestly think this place should have stayed a Thai place. Though I wasn’t a huge fan of Thai Palate, at least they had more going for them than this place. With the large number of burger places that continue to pop up in Atlanta, you can just skip this one.

My fiancé gives this place five stars but since this is my Unilocal,me are gonna stick with four for now! If over the next few visits things remain as good as they have been then we might upgrade this to five stars. The burgers are probably the best I have tasted in Atlanta. You can eat inside and enjoy the bar or lounge areas. Both areas are outfitted with nice flat panels so you can watch the game. There is a full bar and the service is friendly and attentive.

Not Impressed. I got their veggie burger, which was fine. I ate it, but I could have made a better one at home. The lettuce was white and disgusting. I had to take it off the burger. Definitely would not order it again. My boyfriend had the Mexicana, which he said was fine… but again, he thought he could make a better one at home. The nacho cheese on it was cold, which was a big turnoff! And even our PBR tasted really strange! There was only one other person in the restaurant, and our server was slow and inattentive(I think it was the owner too). I didn’t even get a water refill until we were about to leave. The«green fries» — fried green beans — were quite good! That is the one thing I would recommend. Other than that though, I have no plans to go back.

I stopped back in and I got the sliders, they were pretty good but id go with the full burger next time just as its easier to eat and you get a bit more. This time I got the wings and I wasn’t impressed, theres a reason they are 5 bucks. They are TEENYTINY wings. The sauce was great, but seriously some of the smallest ones ever. I still like this place but I wont get the wings again. Dang, I love wings

WOW What an excellent Burger! I stopped in last night to check out the creative burgers that I’d heard so much about, and I was hugely impressed! I ordered«The Works» a mental heap of a burger with Guacamole, bacon and a fried egg my girlfriend got the Veggie burger. Fries and Tots were ordered respectively. Not only were the burgers huge and seriously delicious, the fries and tots smashed their way into my top 3 of all time also! We ordered a couple of cocktails while we were there also. They are all Atlanta themed which I liked as a local touch. I got a Ponce Spiked Lemonade and the Lady ordered Peachtree Iced tea. They wew both excellent tasting with a noticeable after-note of booze! Perfect. We sat on the patio and as is standard with the location, had to tell 1 or 2 homeless folks that we didn’t have change for them. But this is part of the rich tapestry of the city we love. The décor inside was a little flat but when you’re on the street you can forget the not-quite-there decorations. Again I got to use a seamless Scoutmob deal that basically cut my bill in half(spare a few cents). Absolutely love Scoutmob btw! Without a doubt I will be back to get another«works». The only problem is that I expect that I’ll be drawn in to Krispy Kreme after dinner again for ANOTHER doughnut haul!

We went to check out Fuze Burger because of Scout Mob and were pleasantly surprised. It’s a cool hang-out place with great food. Both times we went we were lucky to get a very friendly, professional server, Bradley. His timing is perfect and he made the experience enjoyable. Food has been consistent and delicious, which is a good accomplishment for any Atlanta restaurant. They also have a great veggie burger, reasonable drink prices and good selection of appetizers. Bradley even told us that they have a delivery service. The only downside might be parking, but we’ve always found something along the side streets. Overall, it’s a great addition to the list of available lunch/dinner spots.

I was debating really hard about whether or not to give this place a one. In the end, I decided that if I had to pay full price for a meal here(10 dollars +), I would be pretty pissed off. So lets start off with what we got. We got a Mexicana burger(jalapenos, nacho cheese, guacamole, onions [raw] and sour cream), a Works burger(cheese, onions, bacon, guacamole, and a fried egg), a Salmon burger(salmon pattie, pickles, onions, and lime sauce), and chicken wings. Lets start with some overall descriptions. The patties here are consistently cooked a level beyond what you order. My friends ordered medium and it definitely came out medium well. Also, the patties are very underseasoned here. In fact, with all the toppings, you cant even really taste the beef. Oh, and the bread here is as my friend described«shitty ass kroger bread». I don’t know if it’s really from kroger, but it definitely didn’t measure up to the bread used at other $ 10+ burger joints. There is also definitely way too much bread compared to the meat. The best burger was clearly the Works burger. And to be honest, that was due more to the fried egg and the bacon than anything else. The neat thing with this is that they fried the burger in a mold so that it came out patty shaped. Beyond that, the burger and fries were actually SIGNIFICANTLY smaller(and lower in quality) than an equivalently priced burger from say… The Vortex. The Mexicana burger fared significantly worse. My friend asked for guacamole on the side. He never got it. The nacho cheese is definitely way to much for this burger. The saltiness of it just overpowers the under seasoned meat. The cream cheese is totally unnecessary and unbalances the burger. And the non sauted vegetables kinda just distracted from the experience. The salmon burger was probaly the worst burger. First of all, there was absolutely no char on the patty itself. Subsequently, the patty fell apart extremely easily because it was way to wet. The salmon patty itself was not flavorful at all. It kinda felt like it was eating mush. And yes, I can and have made significantly better salmon patties than this place. The sides here range from unremarkable to spectacularly bad. The wings and fries are straight out of costco. I swear the fries are the same exact fries they serve at the costco food court. Same exact texture and taste. The wings are right out of a Tyson’s frozen chicken wing bag. They didn’t have any crispness to them(i guess you can’t really fry Tyson’s frozen bbq wings), were small, and definitely had that preservative taste to them Horrible. The tater tots were unremarkable. And the sweet potato fries were TOTALLY soaked in oil and were thinner than any fries I’ve ever had. And they’re stingy with portion size. All in all, even at 5 dollars a person, I felt ripped off. The service was slow and the food was average to bad. The business must be down since they have a 50 percent off your entire order coupon(which is what drops it to $ 5 a person) on their website. In the end, even with that I wouldn’t come back here. For a good burger, go anywhere else.

We went for a bizness meeting on a random Saturday afernoon. Pretty much the only guests in the bldg, we were greeted promptly and with a smile by the bartender. After perusing the menu, I saw a «chocolate» beer that caught my eye. «Can I taste that?» I asked. The bartender quickly obliged. Interesting flavor, but I decided to simply opt for a diet coke and kept it moving. I ended up ordering 2 burgers. A classic(regular old burger) and the Mexicana(sour cream, guacamole, cheese). I thought the creativity of both the burgers and the menu was pretty cool. But heres the thing: I know this restaurant used to be a Thai spot, they had an Asian chef, and I «believed it». Now, they were«Fuze Burger», the same place, with a different menu, and what looked like it could technically be the same staff that used to make the Thai food, was now whippin up burgers in the back. «Cmon Son»… Here is my issue, do I think an Asian guy is capable of making a damn good burger? Sure. But do I think that if u failed miserably at making a Thai restaurant relevant, that you are probably going to do the same disservice to this«new neighborhood burger joint…»…damn right I do. The burgers were burgers. Honestly, I can light up the grill right now, open up shop right next door, and I will shut Fuze down by my lonesome(true story). Service was good, and the food came out relatively quickly, but this spot is the definition of mediocre. Ill give it another 6 months before the same guy decides he is going to open up a bbq restaurant. At that point we are going to have to have a talk… and it wont be pretty. PS– Tater tots are a great look here…

Nice looking place. Right across the street from my house. Good service. Food is not so great. Ironically, they don’t seem to know how to cook a hamburger.

alright, not much has changed with the star status of my review of Fuze. Round 2: 9:54pm on a Monday night… oh, you close at 10. The«open» sign is still on the door is open, customers sitting outside and someone at the bar. ok. anyway. the waitress asks the cook, is it ok? can they sit? they say yes… cool. thanks. Guess they hadn’t started shutting it down yet… extra star for seating us. thanks. oh, what’s that? is that our waitress chillin’ at the bar drinking… why yes it is. ok, that’s cool, I guess? I mean, we are in here past closing… moving on. i branched out. tried something different(extra star for me!) The salmon burger. tasty? yes. taste like salmon? no. My only gripe is that it was supposed to have some wasabi lime sauce on it and i couldn’t taste it. maybe it was there i just couldn’t tell… who knows? anywho…like i said before… i’ll be back. i’m sure. this time, before they close.

It was a strange day filled with Middle Eastern burritos and Malaysian burgers. All I needed was to down some currywurst while jamming to World Beat with my pals Barack Obama and Jessica Alba. I’m telling you, it was a fusion day of Mad Libs combinations that wasn’t entirely unpleasant, but didn’t exactly hit the mark. The wife and I tried in vain to come up with somewhere, someTHING to eat that we hadn’t had seemingly a million times before. Granted, earlier that day I’d just eaten a lamb, spinach, yogurt combo wrapped in a tortilla, but my wife’s gluten allergy has put the wrap on wraps. After digging deep, my brain going in full Unilocal mode, my iPhone augmenting reality, and my laptop searching cyberspace for a Tron-tastic find, I remembered a relatively new burger joint on Ponce. A dim memory, yes… what was it called? Some fusion place… that serves burgers… they fuse flavors together into different ground meats… wait, it’ll come to me… ah, hell. Whatever it’s called, it’s in the old Thai Palate space. We arrived and there was one other table occupied.(On the other hand, customers in MF Sushi next door were packed in like sardines, damn cannibals.) Now I know some would enter an empty restaurant hesitantly, but me being the line hater I am, LOVES an empty restaurant. Granted, the food may be fresher where the customer turnover is better, but my patience wears thinner than Kate Moss after a coke binge. So to extend the metaphor a bit further, SCORE! I ordered a Malay burger with a side of fries while my wife ordered a regular cheeseburger(sans bun) with a side of sweet potato fries. The food, in short, was tasty though not exactly crave-worthy. My Malay burger tasted more Indian than anything. And yes, I understand that Malaysian and India cuisine have many commonalities, but I kept thinking with each bite, «This would be better named ‘The Indian Burger’» which I guess, being a HAMBURGER, would be kind of offensive to most of India. So Malay it is then. My second observation was that my burger’s taste really depended heavily on the whatever topping is schmeered on the meat. While the meat was juicy, had some of the flavors been incorporated into the actual patty, I think it would’ve been more successful. Again, with a dozen or so burger choices, I recognize why the kitchen would do this, but in this case function definitely impacts form. Also, you can say the same thing about the Vortex(and actually, I have on occasion.) The fries were crunchy, battered I think. They reminded me of a higher-quality fry from Checkers(or at least a serving of Checkers fries cooked in oil that had been changed out more than once a year.) Unfortunately this also meant no fried for the wife. However, we didn’t see any such batter on the sweet potato fries which she prefers anyway. In all, I kind of liked this place. I didn’t encounter the same service issues it seems that plagued the other Unilocalers. My burger, at least, was on par with the Vortex’s; my wife concurred with hers. Still, the entire«fusion» aspect didn’t quite hit the mark but, as with horseshoes and hand grenades, it was close enough. Three and half stars rounded up to four.

My hubby and I saw this place while we were running and was excited about a new burger place within walking distance from our house. However, the excitement fizzled out fast after our first experience there. We went on a Sunday evening with a couple of other friends. First of all the service was pretty slow. We stood at the door for a few minutes before one of the customers at the bar told us that we could find seats on our own. Then it took about 5 minutes before the server gave us our menus. Then it took approximately another 10 minutes before our drink and dinner orders were taken. To top off the slowness, our burgers came out one at a time in two minute increments, 20 minutes after we placed our order. So… you would think that if you waited that long for your food it would be absolutely perfect and the way you ordered it, right? Wrong. The presentation was very poor and the food was mediocre at best. I ordered the mushroom swiss burger and it came out with very little mushrooms and the cheese was not melted onto the burger. Also, I ordered it medium and it was cooked well done. By that time I was so hungry that I ate it anyway. Our friend ordered the blue cheese burger and it maybe had one or two crumbles of blue cheese. In addition to poor burgers, the sweet potato fries were skinny and soggy AND two dollars extra! Positives: The onion rings and fries were ok. Prices: Burgers were between $ 7 to $ 11. Sides were $ 3 to $ 5. This place was not worth the money.

At first glance, Fuze seems like it’s trying to imitate Flip – the four-letter name beginning with F and a menu filled mostly by burgers, many with unusual preparations. Fuze’s burgers, however, are bigger(pretty much standard restaurant burger size), and they all come with a side(fries, fried green beans, and more, but unfortunately not a single healthy option). I tried the Kalbi burger, because I pretty much always try to order the most interesting-sounding thing on the menu. It tasted pretty good, but most of the flavor seemed to come from soy sauce, rather than any sort of Korean BBQ, as stated on the menu. Their fries are unlike anything I’ve ever had, with a very thick and crunchy outer layer. Service was good, but then again, we were the only people in the restaurant(at around 5:30 on a Saturday). Fuze is definitely worth a visit, and seems like a decent place to come have a good meal and watch the game(they have a few flat screens set on sports).

Excellent prices for a really tasty and filling burger. I liked the creativity of the burgers, but they weren’t so over the top that I felt like I was eating it just to see what it was. I had the kung pao burger, and my wife had the hawaiian which was also very tasty. Tater tots were good, and the sweet potato fries were yummy as well. The interior of the place was really cool and had a nice patio. I look forward to going there again, and seeing Fuzeburger grow! I’d also like to note that there is another entry for Fuze Burger where it is just 1 word FUZEBURGER. I don’t know how to change that.

I give it 3.5 Stars My friends who play for the Pink Cadet Softball Team(Shout-out to Joel, Walter and Brian) had a fund raising event here this past Sunday. It was nice of Fuze not only to hold the event but to also provide a special drink and burger menu for the occasion. The four choices on the mini-menu were the classic burger, turkey burger, veggie burger and a kolbi burger(which I heard is seasoned with soy sauce). You also have the option for either fries, tater tots or sweet potato fries. Gotta love that you have side choices! I ended up getting a classic burger with a side of tater tots. The burger is a decent size and pretty juicy. There really wasn’t anything special about it(hence the classic name) and it didn’t jump at me as being the«best» burger in Atlanta, but they are new and only time will tell. I’m thinking I may need to order one of their special burgers from their main menu the next time I come here. The service is really good though and everyone looked like they had a great time. Plus its really inexpensive. everything I had was a total of $ 6.00! Oh, one more thing, you can park in the parking garage of the apartment building next door. P. S. — Just a word of advice Fuze… you’re right next to Krispy Kreme… definitely recommend using that to your advantage! I know a bunch of people on here that would show up if you have a Krispy Kreme shake or burger on your menu!
