Salmon is always cooked really well and coupled with a delicious seasonal vegetable side it makes for a wholesome and satisfying meal. The chicago style spinach dip is a delight and the consistency of quality is highly reliable. Fried artichokes are my favorite menu item by far. My only complaint stems from location as it is a pic to get to at times. Burgers are good, not great. Steak and other entrees are consistently good and reliably delicious. The sides are excellent.

I highly recommend the grilled chicken salad w/cheesy bread! The salad dressing actually is tossed in two different dressings: lemon-vinaigrette + peanut sauce. SODELICIOUS!!! Instead of traditional strawberry lemonade they make pomegranate lemonade. Very refreshing, IF you prefer tart instead of sweet. It’s very tart, very lemony, just a hint of pomegranate and not sweetened. The cheesy bread is… CHEESY :) Our waitress was awesome, phenomenal service! If I lived in the Atlanta area, I would eat here often.

I quite enjoy Houston’s, and I try to make a stop whenever I’m in town. We stopped for lunch on Saturday I believe, and we had an excellent time. The food was pretty good, and the service was also decent. I kind of wish the dress code was a bit more strictly enforced, but hey, as long as they still have paying customers, right? LOVE the spinach artichoke dip here! GETIT!

Service was extremely slow at 4:00 pm on a Sunday. Sodas are by the bottle, so if you’re thirsty, stick with water or tea. The cheeseburger was delicious. It was cooked perfectly and had wonderful flavor/seasoning. The fries are skinny and crispy… perfection.

Love Houstons. Didn’t realize that Buckhead was in Amish country and needed to close by 9:30 on a Thursday night. Sigh.

I’m convinced you cannot have a bad meal here! I’ve been a number of times & had several different things and I’ve never been disappointed. The place is popular & it’s not uncommon to wait before being seated. If you’re lucky you can grab a spot at the bar instead of waiting. The interior is dark, masculine & has a bit of sexiness. I like the open kitchen & seeing what usually goes on behind doors. It’s a smart casual kinda place. The service is always top-notch. Valet parking. The menu is somewhat limited — which allows them to do a few things really well instead of many things not so well! I usually start with the Chicago style spinach & artichoke dip — I love their light, airy chips & the combo with salsa. It’s always devoured by the table quickly! They usually have a fish special & you can’t go wrong — whatever the catch of the day is, it’s bound to be delicious! The sides perfectly complement the fish — whipped potato & a seasonal veggie. They also have delectable salads — my faves are the tuna salad and club salad. The French dip au jus sandwich is mouth-wateringly amazing! There’s something about it that makes me crave bite after bite — maybe the saltiness?!! My friend raves about the Thai steak & noodle salad. During lunch they have an awesome chicken sandwich. And it’s not on the menu but they have chicken fingers — great for kids. And I’ve also heard rave reviews of the Hawaiian rib eye. The prices may be a little on the high side($ 19 for salad, $ 17 for a sandwich) but the quality is outstanding. Like I said, you really can’t go wrong!

Parking is complimentary and the staff inside was very friendly. Food was great, me and my hubby both ordered the veggie burger which is made out of brown rice, black beans, jalapeños(no not spicy) and many other things. No eggs are in the burger but the bun has egg in for all my vegan friends;) this burger is sooo juicy, it’s so good. My husband said it was the best burger he ever tasted and I totally agree! No meat was missed and we were so full after. try you won’t be disappointed!!!

Excellent Saturday Lunch On my way to visit my Son and his wife and the two grandsons in Marietta, I went by Atlanta and had lunch with my other son and some of his friends. I had previously bookmarked Houston’s and since ir was close to where he lives, we decided on Houston’s. From the minute we walked in the front door, it was a pleasure. We were immediately seated in a very nice booth overlooking the dining area and the bar. Very efficient wait staff and while they do not have sweet tea, if you ask for some simple syrup, they readily supply. For lunch we stated with grilled artichokes. They were perfect and the dipping sauce was just right. At the end, they remembered the hot towels for our hands which was an elegant touch. My son had the French Dip with a Stuffed Baked Potato and an ample side salad. His friend had a grilled Chicken Salad that looked great and I had the Gulf Coast Grouper Sandwich with a side of fries. Can’t speak for the other two except to say they seemed to enjoy their meals and as for the Fish Sandwich, it was excellent. Nice and moist and flaky with great texture and not the least bit overcooked. Atmosphere is good though a little dark. Typical Steak house venue with subduedlighting and dark wood all around. Will definately be back

Dinner with my girls. We ordered Chicago style spinach & artichoke dip as our appetizer. The dip was served with salsa, sour cream and tortilla chips. The dip was so creamy and rich. I love every bite of it. For dinner, we ordered a Cheeseburger, veggie burger and a club salad. The cheese burger was fresh ground chunks cooked to medium rare with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and served on their house made bun. Their veggie burger is their signature recipe. The Club salad had Crispy chicken, mixed greens tomato, avocado chopped eggs and smokehouse bacon. For our market sides we ordered braised red cabbage and hand-cut fries. The food was very delicious and not too salty. Food and drinks were great but our server was horrible. She was very sarcastic and unfriendly. She was probably one of the worst servers that I have ever encountered. That is why this review only gets 1 star. Even if the food is great, service is a major part of a meal and she left us with a bitter taste in the end.

The grilled chicken salad is great. Really consistent food and service. Nice ambiance. Valet can be slow(may be due to the volume) but they are helpful and friendly.

They only get 3 stars because the service is so bad at this location. I come here a lot so I’ve seen it busy and slow and the service ALWAYS sucks. The food is always good though, that’s the only reason I keep coming back. Oh and the complimentary valet !!

So I just went here last night with my boyfriend for Valentines and I was completely unimpressed. First, there is a mandatory/complimentary valet, but there is a significant wait time for the restaurant. The problem with this is, because they take your car, you can’t sit in it while you wait to be seated. So everyone crams into the foyer and stares at each other while we wait. Secondly, I thought this was a steakhouse… it isn’t. It’s an American restaurant with steaks on the menu. There are only 3 steak options, ounces aren’t listed, and they come with a side of a baked potato only. The majority of the restaurants menu is hamburgers, salads, and seafood. So I’m still confused why they call themselves a steakhouse. There is only 1 true appetizer on the menu and it’s a $ 14 spinach artichoke dip. Salad’s are also listed on the appetizer portion of the menu, which makes no sense because there’s an entire salad category on the menu monopolizing a large portion of the menu. From people watching, most people ordered the spinach artichoke dip and a hamburger. –___– I could literally go to Five Guys if I want a hamburger, and it wont cost me $ 17. My boyfriend and I both got the Hawaiian Rib-eye. I got the alotted side of baked potato, and he got a side of brocolli for $ 6. Which was literally 1 brocolli flourette with parmasean sprinkled on it… i literally can NOT. I ordered mine medium well, he ordered his medium. Well when the food arrived his plate with brocolli had my medium well steak, and my plate with the potato had his medium steak. No biggie, we do a sloppy steak switch and get steak juice all over the place but… whatever. While cutting into the meat, his steak was clearly a fatty piece. He had to cut around the steak significantly. We didn’t complain about it though, because at this point we didn’t expect the best. When I asked for a to-go box for the rest of my steak, our server noticed all the fat on his plate and actually comp’d his steak which was really nice. And that concluded the meal. Here’s the weird thing about this restaurant, random servers just walk by and leisurely take things off of your table while they’re walking. They don’t speak to you, they don’t ask if you’re done, they don’t ask if you want it… they literally just walk by and grab stuff. A different server actually grabbed my boyfriend card and our check and we had to tell our waitor who it was for him to run them down. It’s ridiculous really, and really rude. Anyway…lastly…we go outside to get our car from car jail, and they don’t have a designated valet stand. There are no heaters set up, and it was a long line of people waiting to flag down a valet attendent just to give them their ticket to get their car. We waited roughly 10 minutes with 2 other couples waiting for an attendent to just stop to get our ticket from us to go get our car. Then when the attendent brought the car, he drove it all the way up to lenox! Meanwhile, we’re all waiting for our cars in the back of the restaurant. So my boyfriend and I had to walk from the back of the restaurant to the street to get our car… after just waiting 15 minutes in 30 degree weather for it. In conclusion: This place prices, and advertises as a finer establishment, but it definately doesn’t live up to that. I will never be back here. The steaks are laughable, it’s a glorified burger and salad joint.

Houston’s is close to my office so it is a solid pick for lunch during the week. The service is always very attentive and friendly. They do a great job of getting the crowds in and out for lunch. The valet is also very friendly and fast. I have never had a bad meal here! My go-to is the spinach dip to start and fish sandwich for my entrée. The atmosphere is a touch of classy with some romantic elements. You won’t regret coming here!

Houstons is always reliable for great food. You can not go wrong with the prime rib. The prime rib sandwich is the best. The spinach dip is well worth ordering and here’s a tip: try a house salad with a combination dressing-hot bacon and honey mustard. Maybe it’s just me but I love it.

Had lunch here for the first time. The day was rainy but that didn’t stop the crowd from coming out. The restaurant was full at 4pm. We waited maybe 5 minutes for a table. That was quick. Ambiance is excellent. Dimmed lighting. Very soothing. Our server Jennifer was very quick, efficient and pleasant. I ordered a glass of wine and the Chicago spinach and artichoke dip. One of the best ever. Great flavor. Next came my salad. It was good. The chopped eggs complimented the flavor. For an entrée I ordered The Hawaiian Ribeye medium well with grilled onions and loaded baked potato. The potato was so good I didn’t need extra butter. The steak was cooked to perfection. It was seared beautifully with juices rolling from it and extremely tender. I ate half of it. I was stuffed. Great experience. The only thing I was shocked at was the limited menu. Had a great time there.

We picked this place for a roll off dinner for a co-worker. We came in ok a Wednesday night. It was pretty busy for a weekday. They sat us down quickly though. Food: after looking at the menu, I was kind disappointed to see only 4 selection for starters. I wanted to order the prime rib but they ran out. We decided to start with the house crab cake as starter. It was amazing, fresh, and flaky. Not too much breaded. It had a great consistency with the sauce. Great recommendation by our waitress. I ended up ordering the Hawaiian ribeye –medium rare. This was cooked to perfection. I tried my friend baby back BBQ ribs and it was amazing. It has a nice smokey taste to it and end u falling of the bones.(4⁄5) Service: we had two waitresses. Latoya was our main waitress. She knew her menu and she provided a few good recommendations. The rest of the staff was attentive and refilled our water and cleaned the table. They were all professional(4.5÷5) Atmosphere: it had a nice layout. The setting was designed for a romantic setting. It was a bit too dark for my taste but the lay out of the place was very designed. It had a big area w 3 different dining section area.(4⁄5) I would love to come back here to see how consistence their food is and their service is. Hopefully they will keep it up. This place can be easily be a Perfect 5⁄5. D

For a chain this place is pretty good. When a coworker wanted to go here on a work trip I was kind of pissed. I mean we are ATL with amazing local places and you want to go here?! Well it was worth it. I had the cheese burger and fries. The fries actually had a lot of flavor and where cut skinny the way I like um. The burger was good. Just that though. I wouldn’t order it again. I tried a bite of my friends meal. The rib eye steak was one of the best steak bites I have ever had! It had this sweet tasting crunch on the outside but also tasted a little smokey like it had chicory or coffee on it! Yum! The margarita was such fresh and smooth going down. I was told they make all their mixes in house. One of the best margs I’ve had in a min!

Excellent service! I ordered the crab cakes which were tasty and heavily seasoned, different from what I’m used to of a traditional crab cake but still very good. However I did not like the cole slaw side that came with it, the vegetables chosen had a very strong taste. My boyfriend got the Mediterranean Sea Bass which was huge. It was good as well but could have used a little more seasoning. We ended the night with the Apple Crisp which is always delicious! Our waiter was excellent as well. Very nice dinner.
