This is my favorite wing spot for the moment. Their fried rice is yummy to me(with duck sauce added) because it’s more of a Japanese fried rice like what you get at a hibachi restaurant. And the wings are also cooked perfect(the bbq are my fave). The Roswell location is always kept clean and my service is always speedy! Perfect for days you want to dine in quickly but usually I order take out. Another thing is, the portions are huge! I can always eat twice off my plate. It’s hard to believe that 10 wings, a large amount of rice and drink are $ 10 but I love it lol

Food is pretty good, wings are excellent! And the prices are incredible. Not quality, but you get what you pay for.

Nice customer service but the quality of the food was TRASH! I ordered the Buffalo tender combo. Buffalo tenders were hardly covered in sauce leaving a lot of the breading exposed. The fries had a strong taste of FISHGREASE so much so that I had to let someone else taste one because I thought it was me but they agreed that fries tasted as if they were fried in old fish grease as well. Needless to say I dumped the entire plate in the trash so I dumped $ 7 along with it basically. I did call back to let them know that the food was not good and they offered 10% off my next meal which most likely I won’t ever use because I won’t be going back.

I’ve eaten at J Buffalo Wings all over the Atlanta area. Their food is basically the same with just a few differences. I always order wings and fried rice, which is almost always good. However, my visit tonight helped me make up my mind to stop going to the Sandy Springs, Peachtree Corners and Roswell locations. In any business, it’s my belief that the business owner and their employees should show some appreciation(like a simple smile) for the people who choose to spend their hard earned money with them, after all, there are many other places nearby to get wings. The only one left for me is in Cumming, GA. It’s going to take a lot for me to drive all the way out there for wings and rice, but I believe it will be worth it, since they seem to always appear to be glad to see me!

(3.5÷5) 9pm, everything has closed and you don’t want to eat pure trash? This place always saves me. I only ever get the wing + fried rice combo and it does me pretty well almost every time. The rice has gotten better in terms of quality, and with such scarce passable AmeriChinese food in the area, this place makes up for a lot in a huge hot meal. The honey-garlic barely has any garlic and the drinks suck. Besides fountain soda, they have tea, lemonade, fruit punch. but it’s the kind of fake sugar taste you feel second thoughts having a huge cup of. Otherwise, A-OK w/o getting experimental.

Great food every time I come here. Service has slipped a bit since they started hiring teenagers but I am in and out to pick up my food so I dont care. There is another J Buffalo Wings that I think ppl are confusing with this one. This one has great wings and fish. Not tried anything else. It is always clean too but again, I’m in and out with no time to sit and find things wrong.

I have eaten here on a few different occasions but after tonight, i will never go back. I was about to eat my food but to my surprise, there was a bug in my food. When I called to speak with the manager, he had the nerve to ask me, what kind of bug? I’m sorry I didn’t realize that bugs were a part of you’re menu. I won’t be going back ever!!!

They have the coldest soggiest french fries I have ever vomited up and the Philly sandwich tasted like greasy cheese and hamburger meat. The Manager April gets real bitchy when you complain and refuses to refund for a crappy meal too so AVOID !!!

Owners are very welcoming and manager April was very nice. Chicken Wings were delicious. Some of their menu items have a Korean flair. Quick and Friendly service

Service was horrible. Resturant was not clean. Trash on the floor and dried up ketchup on the table. Will not be returning.

Ok so they would’ve gotten a higher score if it weren’t for the two employees I saw behind the counter. My first impression of the restaurant came from the boy behind the counter who didn’t even greet us, and then when he took out order he looked mad the whole time as if he didn’t want to be there. We sat down and it took about 10 minutes to get our food which wasn’t too bad but after I got our food the girl behind the counter(who had pig tails, one braided and one normal and clipped to the side looking very messy) says out loud, «only 30 more minutes till I’m out of here!» I then sit down and see her looking very sloppy leaning on the counter and sipping her drink in front of all the customers. I proceed to enjoying my amazing Philly cheese steak and all of a sudden the girl walks out from behind the counter in JUSTHERSOCKS! That did it for me, I can’t go back to this place. If this is how the employees act, I can only imagine how our food is being cooked and prepared.

I’m new to the area so I’m constantly hitting the streets, exploring the eateries in my new neighborhood. It’s only fair for Unilocal sakes! My coworker told me about this place and judging by the way her mouth watered when she described it, I knew I had to check it out for myself. We stopped I. There on thanksgiving eve to grab some food. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing. There was a lot to choose from. The menu is interesting because I’m not used to seeing wings, philly cheese steaks and fried fish with fried rice. I decided to get the fried fish with chicken fried rice. The portions for the price, very impressive. My platter was $ 10 and it came with 2 bug pieces of fish, a heap of fried rice and 2 hush puppies. It was very filling. My sis got the braised wings and said they were good. My friend got the boneless tenders and they were good. Our only complaint was the sides. The fried rice and the French fries lacked flavor. The fried had no salt. Good for health… Bad for taste lol. Overall great experience and I will be back.

Good place for lunch if you are constrained by time. Wings and gyros are pretty good. Staff is fast and on top of it. Thanks!

Food is good, reasonably priced and comes in large portions. Got the 10 wing special. Came with choice of chicken, beef or veggie fried rice, celery sticks, blue cheese or ranch dressing and a drink(refillable) for $ 9.95. The portion of fried rice they give u is large and they’re generous in the amount of chicken that comes in it. The rice and wings were fresh. The wings were crispy, just the way I like it. Got the 5 wings with the Xtra hot sauce and 5 with BBQ sauce wings. I love hot food so I wasn’t scared. But their Xtra hot is truly hot! So watch out! All in all, good deal for the price. My daughter and I shared one plate and we came away satisfied and happy!

I’m a huge fan of the wings and sort of invented my own flavor. I asked if they could make me Honey Lemon Pepper fried extra crispy, which is not on the menu. They came out delicious! Overall, I think they are an excellent value and would highly recommend. Their wait time is very reasonable and their prices are some of the best I have seen! I am really looking forward to trying some of their other entrees like the tilapia and philly cheesesteaks…

We love this place as a different kind of fast food joint. It can get very busy at times. The price is right and worth the wait for the food. Our favorites we always order… gyro, grilled chicken salad with the boiled egg(fabulous for the cost) fried green beans, fried mac and cheese, philly cheese steak, fried rice(the veggie fried rice is excellent) and lo mein. The fried fish sandwich is also good. We are not big wing people but they sell a ton of wings. This is a great little joint for this area. It is family owned and they appreciate your business.

I had the hot wings and beef fried rice. The flavors of both were good, but the wings were tiny! They were so small it was almost funny — but for almost $ 9.00 for the combo it lost the humor. Hopefully it was just an unusually small batch. I’ll try them again to see because the staff was friendly and the place was very clean.

Having been tempted by the Weekly Unilocal for some wings, I took the advice of my fellow Unilocalers and went to J Buffalos for the first time. I ordered some Lemon Pepper and some Medium Wings, some Hush Puppies and Coleslaw. I did this as take out, which might have been a bit of the problem. I only live 2 miles away, so the wings should have been fine once I got home, but they were no longer crispy. The steam had built up in the styrofoam containers and made them too soft. Oddly the same happened with the Hush Puppies, which were in a paper bag. The flavor was good on the Lemon Pepper wings, but there was some gooey sauce in the bottom of the container. I prefer my Lemon Pepper wings to be dry. The Medium wings certainly were more of a Hot wing — in no instance was this a Medium level of hot wing. However, the flavor of the Buffalo wing was great for a Hot wing. The Hush Puppies were not cooked enough — they were doughy. I love Hush Puppies, so this was really disappointing. I might try them again, but will need to eat there and maybe go away from the Lemon Pepper. Don’t mess with my favorite.

I like the variety of this place and I must say the food is good, for the price. My daughter turned me onto the hot honey bbq wings/fries…yummy! The next time I went I got the tilapia/fries/hush puppies… I didn’t enjoy the fish. Not seasoned very well. One day I’m going to try the catfish. The young lady working there told me that the turkey patties were not frozen… so I was game to try the turkey burger… and I’ve had them twice, so far with fries. I don’t know why I punish myself by getting fries, instead of trying the fried rice because the fries are not that great. I think they need to fry them a little longer. If you take the meal to go, they will definitely be soggy from the steam. I’m just glad they don’t taste like they’ve been fried in old grease. I like that all the seasonings and condiments are on the side so you can season your food with a lil extra… gotta love Lowry’s! I can’t really complain much because the prices are decent for the everything on the menu… especially on this side of town.

The hub and I ordered wings, fish and fries. It was all tasty, but nothing to write home about. The food was cooked to order, so it was hot and fresh, but it tasted like any other wing joint’s food.

As a new resident of Sandy Springs I am always looking for great places to eat. I stumbled upon J Buffalo Wings as I was leaving Publix and decided to give them a try; it was definitely one of the best random food stops i’ve found so far. I can’t vouch for all of the items on the menu(only because I havent tried them all), but I will say, anyone who gives you 10 honey bbq wings and chicken fried rice for like $ 8.00 is okay with me. The wings, fried rice, and southwestern egg rolls are REALLY good. So good, that I havent bothered trying anything else on the menu yet… i’m pretty much stuff in a wing rut. Anywho, try it out… i’m sure you wont be dissapointed :)

Was heading to Publix for a sub for lunch today, and impulsively diverted into J Buffalo Wings to give it a try. I had no idea what to expect, but places like this always give me pause — that is, places that have Gyros, Philly cheesesteaks, wings, chinese food, and a few other random items like Fried Pickles on the menu. I got the Philly and Wings combo, and I must say, I was pretty happy overall. The wings were pretty average — nowhere near as good as Clay’s just down the road, but overall, pretty solid. I did notice several other reviewers noted that the wings were crispy, and that was not the case with the wings I got — my biggest complaint is actually that they were too soft. The Philly was surprisingly good. Definitely better than Publix, and probably better than most«sit down» restaurants. The fries were forgettable — basic crinkle cut that didn’t seem to have any salt or other seasoning on them. Overall, if I need a Philly fix and don’t have time to drive over to the Mad Italian, this is where I’ll go. And I must admit, I’m curious to try the Gyro and a few other things. Oh — and the TVs are a plus.

First timer. Just ate here about an hour ago. I wanted to write this review while it was fresh in my mind(and that lovely garlic flavor still in my mouth). Too much info? Of course not. this is Unilocal! I went to Publix to get some buy one get one free fruit bowls, and saw a Buffalo Wings sign not too far away… all of a sudden I felt a rumbling in my stomach. It was calling for some sort of chicken. Walked in to a very simple to understand menu. I love fried rice with chicken wings… my wings gotta be fried hard(Brooklyn people know what I’m talking about). This place has it on point! It looks brand new, whole bunch of flat-screens that had on the Olympics was a nice touch. The tables were very clean and I’m big on that. Hate to sit down and see food on my table. Tried the honey garlic wings. Delicious. The wings weren’t some little skimpy joints either. Had good meat and excellent crunch. The fried rice was so fresh that it made no sense. I think I just found a really good spot to get some great food nearby. Small joint with some great food. Cant wait to try out the other stuff on the menu.

I have to admit. I thought the food was going to be terrible since it is a chain and you never really hear about it, but I was shopping next door at Publix and thought I would give the buffalo wings a shot. I got the wings and fries combo and it was actually pretty good. The service was fast, price was cheap, and both the wings and fries were better than average. My wife got the Shrimp Lo Mein which seemed like a big gamble but she liked hers too. All in all, a surprisingly good fast casual option in the area.

Brand spanking new of a place! Very clean. The tables are really nice and smooth. This is a great place to come by for lunch. They even have multiple flat screen tvs on the walls. Last but not least, their food is really good. I am totally addicted to their chicken Gyro wrap. Although I’m not a big wings fan, I find their wings to be tasty and crunchy, the way I like it.
