Good food, great service(Brian was great!), was able to smoke a cigar on patio! I was visiting Atlanta, but looks like a great spot to watch football.

I was pleasantly surprised by the casual yet tremendously tasty food. Diverse menu and great surprises like portabella fries and kale and bacon mixture along with fresh seafood selections. Plate presentation and great service by Sidney topped off my surprise find of this culinary find. You’ll really enjoy it.

Yesterday was my first time at Dantanna’s Tavern. I had some people highly recommend it. It exceeded my expectations! The food was amazing, fresh, and hot! I had the Shrimp and Grits which was sooo delicious! Our server, Derroll, was FANTASTIC! Please go and ask for him because he will take great care of you! He is vibrant and personable and still very professional. He recommended the Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding for dessert and it was a home run! 5 stars all around :)

Nice ambiance, terrible food. The place was literally empty and I see why. They had a 10.00 lunch special in CNN center but we were the only ones there. I guess we didn’t get the memo. The upside is the special was great and portion was plentiful just which it was edible enough to fully enjoy. Doubt I’ll come again.

Our company came for lunch for an employee send off celebration. I had checked the menu ahead of time and based on Unilocalers, selected the fish. Note: there aren’t a lot of options for vegetarians so I default to fish when that happens. The dish wasn’t as I had hoped. Neither was the house salad I ordered which had iceberg lettuce. Who on earth still uses iceberg for salads? Answer: Dantana’s! I was very disappointed but did not want to make others wait for my reorder. The fish, was not buttery but dry as you can see in the photo and the skin tasted like mercury! Ok, maybe aluminum. LOL But, definitely, metal. So, I left the skin behind. Our waiter was awesome! I can’t remember his name. He was a very«out-going» AAM. He knew the menu options and shared which items were farm raised. He got our water & drinks out quickly. The only thing is he didn’t recall everyone’s dish, but we were a very large group so he gets a pass. Will I be back? Only if we have another group event because some of my coworkers absolutely loved their burgers. For me, I’ll pass.

Boy this place has gone downhill over the years. Came in for dinner last night and had what I’ve always ordered in the past: quinoa salad with springer mountain chicken. I loved that dantannas sold springer mountain chicken as its locally sourced and flavorful with no added hormones. Except last night the quinoa tasted like dirty dish water and the chicken was beyond dry. The salad had zero flavor and even worse — our table was LITERALLY covered in fruit flies. So gross! We told our waiter and he said«we know, we’re working on it.» Well gee, thanks. So many other places around I grab a decent meal — skip this place for sure.

Never again, once really was enough. First off, it is a bar, not a fine dining establishment. Where the heck do they get off charging the price point for what I would consider a sub-standard burger in just about any burger place in Atlanta? Well done burger does not mean burnt, unless you are a marginal cook and not chef. Well done bacon, is not burnt, nor is it «floppy» and if you are gonna charge 15 for a burger, maybe just maybe more than one tiny piece of lettuce. Also, sticking a pickle on top of my burger just makes for a soggy bun that taste like… pickle. Do the area a favor, stop the crap and just do basic burgers good and forget trying to be cute. Never again. YUUK

Been here several times because it’s close to my house. The food is terrible. Last time, I ordered a French dip. They forgot the au ju, took 10 minutes to get some. The sub roll was hard as a rock. It lacked any flavor. Won’t be back.

Two stars because our server was good and attentive but the food was horrible. It lacked flavor seasoning and presentation. The worst caesar salad ever… The sirachi wings were just plain baked chicken with something red on it… not a taste of chili or hot anywhere. My boyfriend had the soup to which he had to add tabasco sauce to help with the taste… I don’t know who is in the kitchen cooking but they have no clue about cooking… keep driving… We wished we would have saved the 30 dollars and went to Zaxby’s a few doors down.

Very tasty fresh food. I had the Matty Patty with sweet potato fries. And, as previously reviewed, the sweet potato fries are delicious… crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. My husband had the breakfast sandwich, which came with asparagus and potatoes. Our guest had the Eye Opener. The egg needed to be slightly more done. All in all, a great lunch. We will certainly return.

This is the spot for parents willing to watch sports with their kids. Location: makes you wonder if its any good Décor: its like an upscale jersey diner so it feels like home:) Food: not your average sports bar as it takes it an extra notch up. Kids love coming here because the kids mini burgers are not your typical mcdonalds or wendys, they are awesome and packed with flavor. My kids love coming here because of the mini burgers, fries, and most importantly to draw a picture of themselves for a free popsicle! Awesome concept! Nicely done! My fish sandwich was good but not great, a little more blackend/cajun would have put it over the top! The asian steak on a stick was good and I will have it again next time:) Service: slow which made me wonder sometimes if anybody was going to stop by my table. Summary: yes i will go back as kids enjoy it but i will make sure to order my food quickly while the server is with me, who knows when they’ll stop by again

The food always is delicious, plated well for what is typically considered«tavern» or bar food. TIP: Try the salmon tacos! Fresh and appealing. The most difficulty I’ve found, is placing to-go orders. It seems that when calling no one is available to take the order, and the phone is passed around until you finally reach someone who can place the order for you. Pick-up for to-go is typically friendly and promt.

Went to Dantanna’s to meet up with a friend and watch a ball game. There were TV’s everywhere which was great and even thought it was a slow time for sporting events we seemed to have trouble getting the game we wanted on a couple of TV’s. It wasn’t a huge deal but the game was the main reason why we were there in the first place. Drink list was great, a lot of local beers that I didn’t expect to find here were a nice surprise. Food was decent. Nothing spectacular but it was good enough. A lot of great options for appetizers.

The service is the best part of this place. You can tell they put effort into the atmosphere and making the customers feel welcomed. I love love love the menu! Lots of options available and prices are fair. It’s a great little group spot for watching games as well.

When did Unilocalers get so bougie and cheap at the same time? This is a casual restaurant with a nice sports bar feel. The food is not amazing but it’s much better than Taco Mac. Service has always been prompt and friendly. Its location is also extremely convenient with plenty of parking. If you want a big, gross sports bar that will have a million TVs and smell like an old house, go to Hudson Grille down the street. If you want to battle Little Johnny’s entire baseball team for a seat, head over to Taco Mac. If you want extremely cheap food that will lay you out for the whole day go to Steak and Shake. I like the two patty burger, which is one of the better OTP. The sides are okay, nothing to write home about. Drinks are poured fairly and for taste, not too weak or strong. This place is flat out underrated and I can’t see how it can be so dramatically worse than the Lenox location. Smelling a little ITP snobbery there. Give this Dantanna’s location a shot– they deserve it.

Horror show. Stab yourself in the face if you consider eating here. Sub-fast food quality food at $ 15 price points. Nice space, but without food, what is the point? First warning sign was extended negotiation between hostesses on where a party of two(2) should be seated. Who cares? If tips are that scarce, bad bad sign. Next, the wing app was OK, but not at $ 11. Not deep fried, not sauced up – all the hallmarks of a convection microwave prep. Across the street, Clay’s wings bury these posers. Sammiches — the Tavern Burger($ 11) seemed idiot proof. Nope. The bacon was at least as thick as the flavorless paddy, topped as it was by tough, old veggies. A half-dozen fast food joints rock $ 5 burgers which nuke this sad, sad excuse for a burger. Yick. Worse. Yes, worse. The corned beef Reuben($ 14). Pure anal rape. And not that bicurious thing that gets out of hand. We are talking full-on cellblock train. Choo-choo. Stale, stale pump enchased a thimble of trucked-in Russian dressing, a tablespoon of canned sauerkraut, Wal-Mart swiss, and a couple layers of Buddig, dry as a Satan’s farts corned beef. This was shockingly bad. A school cafeteria could make a better pseudo reuben. To be clear, if a non-profit youth sports league served this out of their concession stand for $ 2.50, I would choke it down and not feel violated. Otherwise, no. Nothing about this sammich was honest. Were there a sammich justice system whoever designed this, prepped it, cooked it, and OKd it for service would be RICOd and doing 20 to life. That is how much this sammich offends any actual sammich eater. Dang. Looking for anything positive — local craft drafts. Down side is you must watch demonstrative softball coaches suck down Bud Lights. Such is East Cobb/North Fulton. Bottomline: Standing challenge to management — Prove to me that nothing we ordered saw the inside of a microwave and I’ll buy a $ 100 giftcard. Otherwise, see stab, face.
