Don’t even bother calling in. You will still have to wait 20 minutes when you get there. They don’t cook it until you get there! And they have an 86 health score… I won’t be back. I try to support black own businesses, but this won’t cut it.

Was referred to this place by a friend and I must say the wings are really good. It is a small shack that sits across from the Georgia dome. There is no seating just a mom and pop chicken wing stand grab n go joint. The fries were over cooked but the wings made up for that. Will come back.

Fresh & Hot We stopped in for a snack and the smell made us order more than we intended. Located in a little trailer in a parking lot in front of a pizza shop and across from the new stadium, it isn’t really a likely place for good food. We ordered at the window and were told to return in 15 minutes. Since they pretty much only serve wings, you would think that they would have some ready for a final addition of a topping. Anyway, we returned in 20 minutes and I still had to wait at the window for an additional 5 minutes. 25 minutes is long for something as straightforward as chicken wings that restaurants will typically get to the table in 10 – 15 minutes. And standing around in a windy parking lot makes the time go by even slower. We at the wings in our vehicle since everything is to-go. We had ordered 15 wings and got 5 each of the lemon-pepper, sweet and sour, and barbecue. All were really good but we probably liked the sweet & sour best. We like tart things, but the lemon pepper tasted like someone had doused them in ascorbic acid. Dipping them in the leftover barbecue sauce balanced them a bit. I wouldn’t go far out of my way to go to Jamal’s. But I would go again if I made sure to bring a newspaper with me to read while waiting.

I absolutely love Jamals wings and the fried tilapia is also very good. The jumbo shrimp is very well seasoned. Customer service is exceptional.

Jamal’s wings are by far some of the best wings I’ve had in Atlanta. If you have never had lemon pepper, or GOOD lemon pepper wings, this is the place to be! My rating is really based on how tasty the wings are, not the timing or service. This spot is right across from the Georgia Dome in a small immobile truck. There’s usually the same guy there and he is a hell of a cook. There’s no seating and sometimes the parking lot is full. Don’t expect a timely meal and bring cash! A 10 piece combo is a little over 9 $ and you’ll be very satisfied. It takes forever to get the order, and they might not smile back but the wings are on a whole other level. You can also score a 5 $ pizza from the papa johns by it if you catch a runner leaving their place.

Jamal’s is a shack in the parking lot of a Papa John’s next to the Georgia Dome. And they have the best wings in Atlanta!!!

Hands down. The best wings I have had in Atlanta. And Atlanta is not short on wings joints at all. The Buffalo sauce has a buttery taste to it like a «real» buffalo wings instead of just straight hot sauce or any bottled wing sauce. And the fries were also on point. Crunchy and we’ll seasoned. They have a marinated in Salt water taste which is just perfect and home style. I will definitely be back. It’s a shack but some of the best food comes out of these little holes in the wall. Run don’t walk to this spot for some really amazing wings.

I really hate it here because they will make me fat. Every time I am here, I always get two orders of fries with 6 pcs buffalo wings. I don’t really like this kind of diet because this will make me obese and I don’t wat to be obese. I tried resisting the wings and fries one and that doesn’t work out. I am tempted on the things that they offer here/

When I first came to Atlanta they had good wings. Over the years, the food, customer service and cleanliness has gone down the drain.

Not nearly enough fries for a 20pc combo. The wings weren’t bad… and weren’t anything I’d make a special trip for either. 3-star experience.

It was 10PM on a Friday night, hubby and I really wanted wings and our usual go-to American Deli was closed. We found this place via Unilocal and thought we’d give it a try! Let me tell you, it hit the spot. You’ll find it in the corner near the Georgia Dome next to a Papa John’s. We went ahead and called for pick up but seems like they decided to just make it once we arrived 20 minutes later. I understand. I’m sure a lot of people order and don’t actually show up but we were so hungry that waiting around kind of sucked. For 20 pieces and a side of fries it ended up being around $ 17-$ 18 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. There’s a hole in the wall feel to it but I love finding new yums especially smaller establishments that get the job done! The hubs and I agreed that when the convenient American Deli isn’t available for wings that this will be our second go to place. They have different sauces such as bbq and honey mustard but we ended up just sticking with ranch — they come in those plastic packages. The fries were great too but wish the serving was bigger. Either way, check it out! Tip: They don’t take Amex but they do take Visa!

It’s Super Bowl Sunday and all of the reputable establishments are slammed. So I decided to try a lesser known wing stop and came across Jamal’s Buffalo Wings; worst decision ever! When I called my order in I asked that the wings not be fried hard. When I arrived, 25 minutes later I still had to wait; even though there were NO patrons waiting. The 2 young boys working moved slower than a snail pace. After receiving my order I opened the container to be sorely disappointed at what I saw, hard brown bones with sauce. I asked for a refund and the boy frying the wings asked if I tasted the wings, to which I replied No, I did not. He continued, as if to chastise or berate me by saying, «What you want blood runnin’ out tha wang?» I replied, No, but I don’t desire wings that’s been sitting for hours either. Then I had to ask again if I could have my money back. The other replied, «You gon have ta wait a minute.» Lesson learned: Not every established, and I use that term extremely loosely for this place, is not worth my hard earned money. I suggest you stay away as well! Customer service is everything in a business.

As far as quality in service it’s pretty good, the only fault they have is that the time given to you for your food to be ready is always 5 – 10 minutes off, so you will be stuck waiting for your food sometimes. Now this is undoubtedly one of my favorite spots to order wings from. Wings are pretty good size, fries are good, and even the celery is fresh lol.

At first glance, you wouldn’t think much of Jamal’s Buffalo Wings; it’s located at a parking lot next to a Papa Johns and a pawn shop. But if you’re up for adventures and love whole in the wall kind of places, boy, this truly is a place you HAVE to try out. The wings are cooked to perfection, a nice glaze on the outside and soft, tender insides. I ordered a 10 wings + fries combo with my friend for lunch and we were both delighted. We had half lemon pepper wings and half sweet and sour. Delicious. There’s no place to sit so do keep it in mind, but really, it’s no big deal. The food is truly amazing and you won’t think twice after having a taste. Definitely going back sometime! It makes me glad little places like these exist! Truly a gem to find.

Been going here since 1997. No complaints. Go get you some Jamal’s. They could move a bit faster, but its in a trailer… probably better to call in an order rather than waiting. But the wings are good as hell. That’s all.

I really enjoy the wings from here. I tried 10 buffalo wings with fries. My friend had the lemon pepper and really enjoyed them. I like that the wings weren’t oversized and full of hormones. I read some of the other comments about the size of the wings being too small. Most people should know that bigger doesn’t mean better when its come to chicken because the bigger they are, the more artificial stuff they have inside, which is no good. Overall, great place for wings that also offers fried fish on the weekend but I can’t comment on that. I suggest calling ahead to expedite your order but more than likely you will still have to wait a few minutes.

HOLYDELISH! I wish they had outside seating so you could eat your fresh, crisp, hot, straight out of the fryer wings in the parking lot — but unfortunately, no outside seating. But the wings were still very tasty post 20min drive! Couple of tips: –They have lots of flavors(lemon pepper, hot, bbq, etc)…and remember, they’ll mix flavors for you – hot lemon pepper anyone? while they say they make their own sauces, i dont think they do :(but so good nonetheless! –skip the ranch/blue cheese – they are the little tubs from sysco(not home made) –There are daily specials – i dont remember the exact special, but something like 20c wing thursdays and student discounts –the located in the same parking lot as papa johns! –cash only!
