Joe May cleaners are the WORST. Totally unfriendly, charge extremely high prices, and about half the time(I’m being generous here…) are late. It’s unfortunate that I live within walking distance of such a poorly operated dry cleaner when the rest of Ptree Battle shopping center is excellent. Ill be going out of my way to give my business back to Sig Samuels where I can trust the prices and friendly faces.

Joe May is a very dependable dry cleaner with a friendly, efficient staff. They offer a few perks that I have never seen at other dry cleaners, like Delta SkyMiles and they generally get your order turned around in a reasonable amount of time. There are plenty of cleaners in Buckhead that are faster and probably cheaper, but Joe May is dependable and honest.

I was in the market for a dependable and honest dry cleaner for more than a decade after moving to Atlanta, and finally came upon Joe May Valet in the last couple of years. The bottom line is they are outstanding. They get tough jobs done, they are honest, pleasant, fair, reasonably priced, and don’t lose or ruin items. If you are looking for a dry cleaner that cares about all facets of the customer experience, these guys are the easy choice. Nikita, an associate in the Buckhead office, is always very friendly and full of energy. She makes what is typically a mundane chore of dropping off or picking up dry cleaning an enjoyable one as hard as that may sound. You should check them out as you are most certain to become a loyal and satisfied customer like myself!

Never again. Joe May is the closest cleaners to me, as in I can walk across the Peachtree Battle shopping center to it, but NO. Why? Today, I paid $ 91.85(yes, you read that right) for a dress and eight«blouses» — are you kidding me??? Oh, and I got a phone call a few minutes after I got home with the lady telling me they’d forgotten to tell me one of my items wasn’t done yet because a stain on it made them need to re-do it. But she assured me I’d already paid for it. You think? (Oh, and I took my stuff on Tues and«standard» turnaround was Fri after 6pm — most places will do it– WITHOUT an extra charge as JM does– in one or two days — good thing I didn’t go for the quicker version — who knows how much that would’ve cost me?!) #fail

I bought a Groupon which the person there gave me a hard time about accepting because I didn’t mention it when I dropped off my clothes. I shouldn’t have had to spend 5 minutes arguing with them about. None of my shirts were buttoned up and the sleeves were hanging loose(my regular dry cleaner uses plastic clips to pin the sleeves together with). I was charged for two hangers I wanted back… they snuck a $ 4.00 charge in just to give me back my hangers. I will NEVER use them again.

By far the worst service of any dry cleaner I have experienced in Atlanta. Dropped clothes off at 5:30 on a Wed. Earliest pick up after 6 on Monday? Went back on Monday after 6 half of it was not done. Wanted me to come back after 6 the next day. Had to complain to get it next AM. Witnessed them tell a customer in front of me who was dropping clothes off after 6PM on Monday that first pick up would be after 6 on Friday. She had to ask to pick them up Thursday? 4 days? They claim that is 48 hr service. It is a shame that me new neighborhood has the worst Cleaners.

First of all, I was not thrill that the dry clean cost for a coat is $ 15.99 which is expensive and it is also $ 2 more than other Joe May locations. Secondly, my dry cleans did not come back on the date that was promised to me. This place looks very disorganized, workers didn’t even know that some of my items did not come back. I will not go back again.
