It’s that last one that gets me. I don’t know how their prices are so irresistible. Maybe for something on the higher end of furniture? I thought they were priced kinda high. We did see a few cute things, but nothing that I wanted to buy at their price point.

I LOVE Nadeau. My mom always shopped there and raved about their furniture and even more, their prices, but I hadn’t had a direct experience with them until I moved to Atlanta and had my first apartment to myself. I essentially furnished my whole apartment with Nadeau furniture! It has the BEST prices in town, and the quality of each piece I bought is excellent. I get compliments from just about everyone that comes over.
I have bought a dresser (have had it for about 3 years now, still in excellent condition), a coffee table (also 3 years, it’s gotten a LOT of use and still in top condition), a cabinet that I use as a TV stand (tons of compliments on that one), two bedside tables, a small cubbard, and my most recent purchase is a dining table for my new house. I searched for a dining table at a lot of places, and this one was even less expensive than ones at World Market (and with much better quality!).
In addition to the high quality of the furniture and the amazing prices, the people that work there are so friendly and I even use their movers to help me move homes! All in all, I have ZERO complaints about this store and will be a life-​long customer.

I am always in the Peachtree Battle area, so I pop into Nadeau often. They get huge shipments of furniture each week. Julie, the store manager, has great taste, and is always happy to help me find just what I need. The prices are ridiculously low for such heavy and stylish furniture. Several of my friends shop here also, and they have been very happy with their purchases. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in the need of affordable home furnishings.

Prepare yourself to be ignored by the man who works here. I have been in there several times w/​clients and have NEVER been greeted. I thought it was just me, but I noticed today that he spoke to no one and then went outside to look at his inventory while there was a store full of customers. Really?

Great finds. Great prices. Great service. Purchased several pieces for our vaction home. Nadeau has something for almost everybody. (There are some folks who can’t be pleased with anything.)
My only complaint– there sould be a twelve-​step program for this place. I’m hooked!

How have I not reviewed this place yet?! It’s in my backyard (literally) and I’ve gotten several awesome pieces for my place (that I moved into last Feb– how did I not write a review yet.. .).
They have pieces that always speak to me: versatile, lovely colors, solidly made and well-​priced. I have the coolest mirror with these kind of star-​stud accents on the distressed white-​paint frame, and a lovely green bookcase that make me happy every time I see them. I love strolling over (yes, I really live next door) and seeing what the new pieces just arrived are and figuring out what might complement my design style (a mix of antiques and Ikea to create a unique look in a small space).
I’ve always found the service and folks to be quite engaging and helpful — I say this because of another reviewer’s comment to the contrary — and will continue to support them as much as my furniture and home-​accessory buying budget allows!

This place has the worst customer service, esp the owner. She is rude and never returns messages. Only reason got 2 stars is due to fair pricing

Nadeau? Um… no. Had a Groupon for this place — when I checked their website, it looked like they had a massive inventory of very cool and affordable furniture and accessories. Maybe they do sometimes. But when I first checked out the store a few weeks after I got the Groupon I was disappointed to see such a limited inventory. I thought maybe I hit it on an off day — so I went back closer to Christmas. Still slim pickins. There were maybe 10 pieces from the huge inventory they claim to have from the photos on the website and half of those were sold.
It seems to be a hit or miss place, and each time I went it was a miss. I was still optimistic that I’d stumble on something cool one of these days.
I went back yesterday because the Groupon expires today — still nothing I wanted to buy, so I asked if they could extend the expiration date. I got a snotty «no. we don’t extend anything.» Would it have hurt them to extend the date? Not in the least. They wouldn’t lose a penny. Would I be more likely to be a repeat customer? Absolutely — it’s the kind of place you want to check out from time to time just to see what’s new. Will I go back now? No way.
I ended up buying a small desk I was not that crazy about just so I wouldn’t lose $ 50 I paid for the Groupon. As I was paying another customer with a Groupon came in with the same problem — that she had hoped to buy accessories and candles, but they didn’t really have any. The sales girl claimed they all sold out in both stores Saturday and that, sorry, her Groupon expires tomorrow with a snotty «you had 3 months to use it» — yeah, sure we did. But three months is not a lot of time to buy something from a furniture store with such limited stock and specialty pieces.
So for me Nadeau is now a No No. In fact, I’m still irritated — so it’s a hell no to the Nadeau. Unless they change their name to Nada, which would more accurately describe their inventory.
