I would originally agree that June’s of Atlanta is a 5 star specialty cleaning service. She’s been brillant in removing on 2 occassions, a red wine stain and a silicone stain in precious garments for me in the past year or so. Recently, I paid $ 50 for her to clean a very expensive($ 280) white dress and an additional $ 37.50 to remove a sizeable grease stain from a jacket. I should have reviewed the garments on the premises when I picked them up because neither piece(dress or jacket) were up to what I considered her standards(standards that cost me $ 87.50 for her work). The dress: small spot stains where there were no stains on the dress previously and a pull in the fabric on the bust line that’s VERY noticeable. The jacket: the grease stain was still there, I couldn’t believe it so I washed the jacket myself at home with«Zout» stain remover and it came out with 1 wash. I couldn’t let the dress issue go so I went back to her to ask about the tiny spot stains on the dress and I got a lecture on why I shouldn’t buy a white dress with black details. I asked the question of what can be done about the stains that were originally not there when I dropped the dress off and she became incensed that I would question her about her work. She immediately began to write up my name and address to send me a check for $ 50 and made a point of telling me that she’ll never do work for me again.(As if I wanted her to with that attitude). I couldn’t believe it! This is sad because I know she’s capable of good work I just don’t know what happened to make her so defensive. i didn’t approach her negatively, just honestly and this was the manner she chose to treat me with. So, BEWARE, this is a very expensive place to get your garments cleaned and be sure to inspect on site the next time you go.

Incredible place. I took a wedding dress of very old lace, a family heirloom, to June’s because of a referral. I was very concerned about the lace and old satin simply disintegrating with any contact. The dress had several stained spots, some from where flowers had been crushed into the material. I wasn’t very optimistic. When I got it back from June’s, it was perfect. And I mean perfect. June’s has drycleaning delicate fabrics down to an art form. Incredible.
