I love how the KOP gives back every year. This is my second year going to this event! My nieces enjoyed themselves, not to mention the free ice pop and all the games. It is very kid and pet friendly. Bring a blanket to sit on and enjoy the lovely Fall day

Free pops, Puddles The Clown, hot dogs, carnival games(I knocked down all six bottles), ice carving by The Ice Cuban, live music. Also, all for a great cause to help fund an Atlanta cmmunity project in the future. So cool. Loved that it was at The Masquerade, too. Great space out back with plenty of space to roam, spread out a blanket, let your dogs play, etc. Great space for an outdoor show and especially KoP Field Day. I can’t wait for next year.

We packed up and drove down for the KOPFD. Parking was an absolute nightmare, we ended up parking at Keller Williams and praying to not get towed. We walked in and got our ticetks for the Popsicles, and got in line! they had a good selection available, I tried the pomagranite margarita and was pleasantly surprised! we listened to some music(live) and then wandered around a bit, bought another popsicle and called it a day, Decided to head to the vortex for a burger n tots :)

King of Pops Field Day is the annual festival thrown by yes, the King of Pops. It’s usually held on a Sunday sometime in mid-late fall at the Masquerade music park. With(free) entry, you get tickets for free popsicles and some field day game play. I look forward to the King of Pops Field Day all year long. It’s my favorite festival by a mile. Sure, it has a slight advantage what with giving away the best popsicles in the world for free. but it’s more than that — it’s fun for kids and adults! Besides the field day games — which I find endlessly entertaining, there’s live music and a photo booth — another one of my favorites. Not to mention food trucks(Yumbii!!) I also love that they still hold it in the fall, so the weather is comfortable(though it did get quite warm this weekend). Can’t wait until next year.
