This is the first year I’ve been to the Old Fourth Ward Park Arts Festival, and I thought it was great! The park is just off the beltline, which makes it easy to walk to and from the event. There was a good collection of vendors selling arts and crafts. There were also food trucks, drinks, and a stage with live music. I was really surprised that it wasn’t busier, but there really wasn’t much of a crowd!

This is right by my house so there was no way I was going to skip it. You were allowed to bring in a non-alcoholic beverage as long as it was in a non-glass container. Awesome! However, there were plenty of food trucks available with food and drink. The number of vendors was more than I expected for this little festival, but the amount can be improved upon. I am sure it will in future years. I saw a number of things that I have seen at other festivals earlier in the year, but I also saw some things for the first time. There was also live music and activities for kids. Historic Fourth Ward is a great venue for a festival– the park is lovely and you can take a walk on the BeltLine when you’re done. The event goes on rain or shine.
