Fresh, fast, and good! I’ve never had Chinese food like this before. All the veggies were fresh and crisp!

The food is definitely not worth the effort of engaging with their incompetent staff and receiving terrible customer service on numerous occasions. I am very aware businesses have their days and I am always willing to give second chances, but after tonight, I will never do business with Lotus again. After delivering my food with containers open and every item ordered drowning in duck sauce, I politely requested a replacement dish of my meal alone (despite the fact that everything was dripping with sauce) since I personally have a serious distaste for duck sauce. Instead of delivering my new curry dish, they instead sent a delivery boy to fetch my container so they could switch it out. Which I’m sure actually means merely changing containers. They never apologized nor made any compensation for their misstep.

I’ve been a couple of times and can give this spot a solid, «Yes, I like the food.»
It’s pretty standard fare. If you have a hungry belly, not a lot of time and are budget-​conscious, Lotus is decent.
I most enjoy the sesame chicken and stir fried broccoli (not on the menu; ask for it as a side). The crab rangoons are good. The fried rice — various types offered — are also good.
I find that the food is not overly salty. It can be quite a bit sweet with lacking spice for Chinese food, which is why I dinged a few stars, but — again — it’s average. Nothing to be thrilled to pieces about; nothing to avoid.
And the place never ever seems to get busy. There’s a television set that is usually on low and plenty of both and table seating. Good for small groups. But it seems that the most regular choice is that people get their orders to go. You rarely find people eating here.

I had the worst experience of my life here. the customer service was terrible.. The people working their were rude and I also found a bug in my lomein and the owners refused to give me money back after I addressed them… terrible place

The food we ordered was full of insects! They refused to refund the price of the meals and stated since we ate some. Do Not Eat Here

I ordered lunch for my office. When the food arrived 2 of the 5 meals had insects in it. When I called them back for a refund they made me repeat myself several times. They asked if I had a photo and I did. They still refused to issue a refund. I will never order food from this restaurant again. I am extremely dissatisfied.

The food is actually pretty good. I was surprised because it did look dingy from the outside but I enjoyed the fried rice that I got!

Great Chinese Food! We’ve been loyal customers of this restaurant for the last 4 yrs. I recommend it 100%. Everything I’ve tried taste awesome.

Called to place an order for delivery and the man could not understand English. Had to repeat myself several times and finally said never mind I don’t want the order and hung up. 5 minutes later a lady called back to confirm the order and when I told her I didn’t want the food, she yelled at me why don’t you call and cancel order. She then said ok bye bye bye and hung up. Good food does not make up for poor customer service and they have now lost a long time customer

Lotus is right across the street from our house, so they’re our go to Chinese takeout joint. I love their egg drop soup & vegetable lo mien. Their fried rice is good, too. I’m weird about meat, but I’ve tried my hubby’s meals and their meat seems pretty legit.
They’re fast, they deliver, and they’ve always been friendly. We’ll definitely keep getting lotus when we’re craving Chinese!

The food was delivered on time and the delivery guy was friendly. I ordered the wonton soup and chicken lo mein. It was average tasting, nothing to write home about.

After trying out a bunch of places in the area, Lotus beats the rest. Their food is consistently good and always extra spicy when we ask. We usually do delivery and they have our address in their system. Sometimes they’re too quick on the phone, but that’s only because they have a lot of business (not because they’re rude).
We frequent the General Tso’s, crab angels, and hot sour soup. I’ve been hopping around the menu to see what I like best, and so far the hot pepper chicken has been my favorite. The spicy lala chicken was great the last time we ordered; it uses white meat and lots of veggies.
For all of the negative reviews, I’d like to mention that the location has changed. It’s still in the same plaza, and the phone number hasn’t changed. Their location is really nice now and the owners are a nice family with some young kids.

Decent food. RUDE customer service. Our office will NO LONGER order from them.
Ordered a Sesame Chicken lunch special today minus soup, with an additional egg roll. Other coworkers ordered as well. Delivery guy brings the wrong order. He calls his manager to make the swap. The driver then comes back with my Sesame chicken, but not the eggroll that I paid extra for, no condiments for the dry-​ass rice or the chicken wing that is supposed to come with the lunch special. Call the location and the manager rudely refuses to send the driver back with the missing contents of my order. I wanted to remain professional, but had it been delivery to my home, they would have incurred my wrath. NEVER AGAIN.

Worst experience ever, a big confusion in delivery and they had the nerve to say just keep it you should like it well it was horrible!

Better than average Chinese joint that has become my go-​to delivery and takeout place since moving to the area recently. I’ve dined in once, though the restaurant isn’t much to look at and warm service isn’t really their major selling point (though there’s nothing wrong with it.) They specialize in preparing solid food quickly and at a reasonable price, which makes them an excellent choice if you just don’t want to cook and also just don’t feel like going out.
So, the steamed white rice is identical to all the steam white rice you’ve ever had at any Chinese restaurant in your life. I’ve tried four dishes: the chicken and broccoli, the sesame chicken, the spicy garlic shrimp, and the crab Rangoon (which are adorably misspelled «crab angles» on the menu.)
The sesame chicken was fine, but really it’s pretty generic. I probably wouldn’t choose it again, because it has no real pizzazz. Just deep fried chicken tossed in some sesame sauce. The broccoli chicken and spicy garlic shrimp have a little more imagination — both are served with veggies and have more complex sauces. The crab «angles» are just like the crab angels you’d get anywhere else, from PF Chang’s to a mall food court. Heavy on the cream cheese, light on the «krab,» and accompanied by neon red sweet sauce. I love the spicy shrimp with veggies, but the sesame shrimp is soggy. The fried shrimp is just outweighed by all the batter and I didn’t care for the dish at all.

Try to call and place and order and the lady was very rude!!! Wouldn’t give me time to place my order and didn’t want to tell me my total so I said cancel my order and I hung up on her!!!

Def in my top 3 of Chinese places in Atlanta. Still not better than DC Chinese but it’s pretty close.

This place use to be our favorite until last Friday, my mom ordered chicken egg foo young and there was a roach in her gravy. Totally gross and unsanitary. We have called the health department and the thing is when we contacted the restaurant to get our money back they knew they had roaches, never denied it at all. We took the food back and took tons of pics I’ll be posting. STAY AWAY WARNING!
